DIE GRINDER

Abstract

A die grinder (100) comprises a motor, a spindle (90), and a main housing (10). The spindle is rotated about a drive axis (TX) that defines a front-to-back direction of the die grinder. The main housing comprises a motor housing (30), a handle housing (40), and a battery housing (80). The handle housing is connected to a rear end of the motor housing and has an elongated handle portion (42) configured to be held by a user. The battery housing is connected to a rear end of the handle housing and has a battery mounting portion configured to mount the battery (BT) thereon. The battery mounting portion is arranged at a position through which the drive axis passes and configured to mount the battery in a direction orthogonal to the drive axis. A central axis of the handle portion is arranged in a radial direction outward from the drive axis.
