Abstract

Cylinder head (1) for an internal combustion engine with at least one combustion chamber (8), wherein the cylinder head (1) comprises a base body (2) with a combustion chamber plate (6) for closing the at least one combustion chamber (8) of the internal combustion engine and with an upper deck (11), a receiving bore (12) which penetrates the base body (2) along a longitudinal axis (L) from an upper opening (13) in the upper deck (11) to a lower opening (14) in the combustion chamber plate (6), and a sealing sleeve (16) which is received in the receiving bore (12), with an external thread (17) with which the sealing sleeve (16) is screwed into an internal thread (18) of the base body (2), and with an internal thread (19) for screwing in a spark plug (20) or an injector, wherein the sealing sleeve (16) protrudes from the upper opening (13) of the base body (2).In order to prevent unintentional loosening of the sealing sleeve while minimizing weakening of the combustion chamber plate, it is provided that the section of the sealing sleeve (16) projecting from the upper opening (13) of the base body (2) has a fixing section (32) which has an outer contour in cross-section that deviates from the shape of a circle, that the cylinder head (1) furthermore has a fixing element (35) with a receptacle (36) through which the fixing section (32) of the sealing sleeve (16) is passed, wherein the receptacle (36) has an inner contour that is complementary to the outer contour of the fixing section (32), and that the fixing element (35) is detachably fixed to the base body (2).
