Abstract

A terminal block is provided comprising an insulating base (10), a side cover (20), a changeover element (30), an elastic clamping piece (40), and a conductive terminal (50) located in the insulating base. The insulating base (10) has a receiving groove (11) and an actuating opening (12). The side cover (20) is attached to the insulating base (10), covers the receiving groove (11), and has a braking rib (21) located in the receiving groove (11). The changeover element (30) is rotatably mounted in the receiving groove (11) to rotate between a clamping position (P1) and a release position (P2) and has a buffer groove (33). The elastic clamping piece (40) is located in the receiving groove (11) and rests against the changeover element (30). The switching element (30) rotates from the clamping position (P1) to the release position (P2) when it is pressed by an external force.When the external force is removed, the elastic clamping piece (40) pushes the switching element (30) to rotate in the opposite direction to embed the brake bridge (21) in the buffer groove (33) to buffer and decelerate the switching element (30) to prevent damage during resetting.
