Abstract

Filter arrangement (300) for regulating the air flowing through it, the filter arrangement comprising: a receptacle (304) comprising a cavity (308) formed therein; a filter (302) positioned in the cavity (308) and connected to the receptacle (304); and a reinforcing structure (350) connected to an end of the receptacle (304) and adjacent to an upper end of the filter (302), the reinforcing structure (350) comprising at least one rib (310) extending inwards from an outer boundary of the reinforcing structure (350) to a center of the outer boundary at the upper end of the filter (302);characterized in that: the at least one rib (310) comprises at least one contact point (314) which is in contact with the upper end of the filter (302), wherein the at least one rib (310) further comprises at least one raised section adjacent to the at least one contact point (314) and the at least one raised section creates an air gap (320) between the upper end of the filter (302) and the at least one rib (310).
