Abstract

Fuel supply pump (1) comprising: a suction valve (30); and a suction valve stop (32) regulating movement of the suction valve (30) in a valve opening direction, wherein the suction valve stop (32) comprises: a disk-shaped section (32d) having a convex section (32b) facing the suction valve (30), and several plate-shaped sections (32m) supporting the disk-shaped section (32d), each of the plate-shaped sections (32m) having a substantially linear shape, and an angle (θ) of the plate-shaped section (32m) with respect to a radial direction of the disk-shaped section (32d) being 10° to 60°.
