Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a case system for a motor vehicle interior.
[0002] The invention is based on the object of providing a case system which enables a simple and practical fastening of a case in a motor vehicle interior.
[0003] This object is achieved by a case system having the features of claim 1.
[0004] The trunk system comprises a trunk, a motor vehicle seat arranged in the interior of a motor vehicle, and an intermediate part for connecting the motor vehicle seat to the trunk. The trunk has a first connection area; the intermediate part has a second connection area for releasably connecting to the first connection area. Furthermore, the intermediate part has a plug for releasably receiving in a plug receptacle. The plug receptacle is arranged on the motor vehicle seat.
[0005] The plug-in receptacle is preferably integrated into a backrest or headrest of the motor vehicle seat, or the plug-in receptacle is provided by a headrest rod adapter mounted between two headrest rods. The plug-in receptacle and the plug of the intermediate part are preferably part of a "Travel and Comfort" system of the applicant.
[0006] The case system offers a simple fastening option for a case that can be detachably connected or connected to the intermediate part, whereby the intermediate part in turn can be connected or connected to the vehicle seat via a detachable plug connection.
[0007] It is possible for the intermediate part to remain attached to the vehicle seat when the case is used externally, so that the case can be reconnected to the intermediate part if necessary without any further preparation.
[0008] It is also possible for the intermediate part to remain attached to the case when used externally, or to be stored separately from both the case and the vehicle seat. These options offer the advantage of freeing up the vehicle seat's connector socket for plugs for other functional components, such as coat hooks, coat hangers, folding tables, or tablet holders.
[0009] For ergonomically easy handling of the case system, it is preferred if the plug and the second connection area are arranged on opposite sides of the intermediate part. This makes it possible, in particular, to arrange the case in a position facing a rear passenger.
[0010] It is further preferred that the first connection area is arranged on a rear side of the case. This allows access to the front of the case when the case is connected to the intermediate part.
[0011] For simple and reliable attachment of the case, it is preferred that the first connecting area and the second connecting area be connected to each other in a form-fitting manner, for example, by means of a releasable snap-in connection. For this purpose, the two connecting areas have respective form-fitting elements. A form-fitting connection is stable and also has the advantage of providing acoustic and / or haptic feedback when the connection is established.
[0012] Alternatively or additionally, it is preferred if the first connecting region and the second connecting region can be magnetically connected to one another. For this purpose, the two connecting regions have respective magnets which attract one another. A magnetic connection is stable and also has the advantage of acoustic and / or haptic feedback when the connection is established. A magnetic connection has the further advantage of being particularly easy to establish. As soon as a magnet in the first connecting region of the case comes into the area of an attractive force of a magnet in the second connecting region of the intermediate part, the attractive force causes self-centering, so that a user only has to position the case “approximately” correctly and the attractive force ensures that the case is aligned in the correct position relative to the intermediate part. This is particularly advantageous when the magnets of the first connecting area are arranged on a rear side of the case, which is hidden by the case from the perspective of a rear passenger.
[0013] Most preferably, the first connecting region and the second connecting region can be connected to one another both positively and magnetically. For this purpose, a connection system can be used which is offered by Fidlock GmbH, Hanover / Germany and which is known, for example, from DE 10 2011 086 960 A1. With regard to the structure and function of this connection system, reference is made to the content of the cited document. This connection system enables a two-fold securing of the case to the intermediate part because, in the connected state, both a positive connection and a magnetic force are effective between the two connecting regions. At the same time, this connection system allows - starting from a connected state - to release both the positive connection and the magnetic connection by actuating just one actuating element.
[0014] To further improve the case system, it is preferred that the first connecting region has at least two first connecting sections spaced apart from one another by a distance, as viewed along a vertical axis of the case, and that the second connecting region has at least two second connecting sections spaced apart from one another by the same distance, as viewed along a vertical axis of the intermediate part, wherein a first connecting section and a second connecting section are each detachably connectable to one another. This enables the case to be connected to the intermediate part at a plurality of connection points offset from one another along the vertical axis. Each of the connection points can in particular be formed by the aforementioned "Fidlock" connection system.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the plug is spaced halfway from each of two second connecting sections relative to the vertical axis of the intermediate part. This enables symmetrical force transmission from two second connecting sections to the plug.
[0016] In particular, it is preferred that the first connecting region has a first number of first connecting sections, that the second connecting region has a second number of second connecting sections, and that the second number is greater than the first number. This makes it possible to selectively connect the first connecting sections of the case to different second connecting sections of the intermediate part, so that the case can be selectively arranged at different heights. This allows, for example, convenient adjustment of the mounting height of the case for rear passengers of different heights.
[0017] Furthermore, it is preferred if the plug can be inserted into the plug receptacle along a plug-in axis, and if the plug can be inserted into the plug receptacle in a first rotational position and in a second rotational position relative to the plug-in axis and can be releasably fastened there, wherein the first rotational position and the second rotational position are offset by 180° from one another. This enables the use of the intermediate part in two offset rotational positions. This is particularly advantageous if the plug is arranged off-center with respect to a vertical axis of the intermediate part, because the different rotational positions of the plug then correspond to different positioning of the second connection region relative to the motor vehicle seat. This creates an alternative or additional possibility of being able to arrange the case at different mounting heights.
[0018] Further features and advantages of the invention are the subject of the following description of a preferred embodiment.
[0019] The drawing shows: Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an exploded view of an embodiment of a case system with a case and with an intermediate part, from a rear perspective with respect to a motor vehicle seat; Fig. 2 a perspective view of the case in an open state; Fig. 3 a perspective view of the case system according to Fig. 1 from a front perspective, in a non-connected state of the case and the intermediate part; Fig. 4 one of the Fig. 3 corresponding view, in a connected state of the case and the intermediate part, wherein a plug of the intermediate part assumes a first rotational position and wherein the case assumes a lower position with respect to the motor vehicle seat; Fig. 5 one of the Fig. 4 according to view, wherein the case occupies an intermediate position with respect to the vehicle seat; Fig. 6 one of the Fig. 5 according to view, wherein the case also assumes an intermediate position relative to the vehicle seat, but the plug assumes a second rotational position different from the first rotational position; and Fig. 7 one of the Fig. 6 according to view, whereby the case occupies an upper position relative to the vehicle seat.
[0020] In Fig. 1 shows a case system designated overall by reference numeral 10. The system 10 comprises a case 12, a motor vehicle seat 16 arranged in an interior 14 of a motor vehicle, and an intermediate part 18 with a connector 20.
[0021] The motor vehicle seat 16 has a backrest 22 in which a plug receptacle 24 is provided for receiving the plug 20 of the intermediate part 18. (The motor vehicle seat 16 and the backrest 22 are shown only schematically and not to scale.)
[0022] The case 12 and the intermediate part 18 each have associated vertical axes 26 and 28, respectively, which are oriented parallel or substantially parallel to a vertical axis of the motor vehicle forming the interior 14.
[0023] The case 12 has a front side 30 and a back side 32. The front side 30 is formed by a front case shell 34; the back side 32 by a rear case shell 36, see. Fig. 2. The front case shell 34 is pivotable relative to the rear case shell 36 about a pivot axis 38 arranged on the bottom. A known closure 40 is provided for releasably securing the front case shell 34 to the rear case shell 36 when the case 12 is closed.
[0024] The case 12 further comprises a carrying handle 42 which can be adjusted between a rest position (cf. Fig. 1) and a supporting layer (cf. Fig. 2) is pivotable. The carrying handle 42 is preferably pivotably mounted on the rear case shell 36 of the case 12.
[0025] The case 12 has a first connecting area 44 on its rear side 32, see. Fig. 3. The first connecting region 44 is detachably connectable to a second connecting region 46, which is provided on the intermediate part 18, cf. Fig. 1.
[0026] The second connecting region 46 is arranged on a front side 48 of the intermediate part 18 (cf. Fig. 1); the plug 20 is arranged on a rear side 50 of the intermediate part 18 facing away from the front side 48 (cf. Fig. 3). The connector 20 is oriented at an angle, in particular perpendicular to the rear side 50. It is optionally possible for the connector 20 to assume different pivot positions relative to the rear side 50. For this purpose, the connector 20 is pivotally mounted on the intermediate part 18 via a pivot axis 52.
[0027] The first connecting region 44 has first connecting sections 54, 56 which are offset from one another along the vertical axis 26 of the case 12 and which are each formed, for example, by pin receptacles 58, 60 and have a first distance 62 from one another along the vertical axis 26.
[0028] The second connecting region 46 of the intermediate part 18 has three second connecting sections 64, 66, 68 offset from one another along the height axis 58, which are each designed as pins 70, 72, 74, for example.
[0029] Each two adjacent second connecting sections 64, 66, 68 are spaced apart by a second distance 76. This second distance 76 is preferably identical to the first distance 62 of the first connecting sections 54 and 56 of the first connecting region 44.
[0030] The pin receptacles 58 and 60 of the first connecting region 44 and the pins 70, 72, 74 of the second connecting region 46 can each be formed by a so-called "Fidlock system." Such a system is described in DE 10 2011 086 960 A1. Each pin 70, 72, 74 can be connected to a respective pin receptacle 58 or 60 both positively and magnetically. The positive connection and the magnetic connection are automatically established by bringing the pins and the pin receptacles closer together.
[0031] To release a connection between a pin receptacle 58, 60 and one of the pins 70, 72, 74, a control slide 78 is provided, which is arranged in an interior space 80 of the case 12, cf. Fig. 2. The control slide 78 is displaceable back and forth in a direction parallel to the vertical axis 26 and is held in a basic position by slide springs (not shown), which are preferably part of the “Fidlock” system, which corresponds to a locking position of the first connecting region 44.
[0032] The control slide 78 interacts simultaneously with the majority of the pin receptacles 58 and 60. When the control slide 78 is displaced from the home position along the vertical axis 26, both a positive locking and a magnetic connection to the pins 70 and 72 or 72 and 74 of the intermediate part 18 are released, and the case 12 can be removed from the intermediate part 18.
[0033] The plug 20 can be inserted into the plug receptacle 24 along a plug-in axis 82. The plug 20 can assume a first rotational position relative to the plug-in axis 82, see. Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 or a second rotational position offset by 180° relative to the plug-in axis 82 and the first rotational position, cf. Fig. 6 and Fig. 7.
[0034] Both in the first rotational position (cf. Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) as well as in the second rotational position (cf. Fig. 6 and Fig. 7) it is possible that the intermediate part 18 is connected to the first connecting sections 54 and 56 of the case 12 via the second connecting sections 66 and 68, cf. Fig. 4 and Fig. 7. It is also possible that the second connecting sections 64 and 66 are connected to the first connecting sections 54 and 56, cf. Fig. 5 and Fig. 6.
[0035] In all positions of the case 12 relative to the additional part 18 and in both rotational positions of the plug 20, the two first connecting sections 54 and 56 of the case 12 are connected to two of the second connecting sections 64, 66, and 68; the case 12 is thus secured twice, both positively and magnetically. Due to the identity of the first distance 62 and the second distance 76 and due to the rotatability of the plug 20, the case 12 can be in a lower position relative to the motor vehicle seat 16 (cf. Fig. 4), in at least one intermediate position (cf. Fig. 5 and Fig. 6) and in an upper position (cf. Fig. 7) to the motor vehicle seat 16.
[0036] The case system described in this application can also be used outside a motor vehicle and independently of a motor vehicle seat, deviating from the above description and the claims, for example for arranging and detachably fastening a case on watercraft or aircraft, on motorcycles or bicycles.
[0037] Use in public or private buildings is also conceivable, for example, in hospitals or doctor's offices. In all of the above cases, the socket is not located on a vehicle seat, but rather on another part of the vehicle or building, or on a piece of furniture. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
