Abstract

Nose interface comprising: a first extension with a first base and a first terminal end; a second extension with a second base and a second terminal end; a gas distributor comprising a distributor chamber and a gas inlet, the distributor chamber having a flow channel configured to direct the gas flow from the gas inlet through the distributor chamber substantially into the first extension and the second extension;and at least one distributor element positioned within the flow channel of the distributor chamber, wherein the at least one distributor element is configured to increase resistance to a gas flow passing through at least one of the first extension, the second extension or the distributor chamber, wherein the gas inlet is in fluid communication with a gas delivery line or is configured to be in fluid communication with it, and wherein the increase in resistance to the gas flow is configured to cause an asymmetric gas flow at the first extension and at the second extension.
