Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a lighting device, and in particular a lighting device that can be stored quickly and compactly. Specifically, the present invention relates to a mobile lighting device that can be quickly transported from one place to another and quickly set up.

[0002] Conventional lighting fixtures feature a rigid light source with fixed dimensions. This light source contains one or more light-emitting elements that generate light. Therefore, the dimensions of the lighting fixture are essentially determined by the light source and cannot be significantly reduced for transport. Furthermore, setting up such conventional lighting fixtures at their point of use is difficult. Additional components, such as a tripod or ceiling mount, are required, which also need to be stowed for transport.
