Description

[0001] The invention relates to a kit for producing a pump shaft according to claim 1.

[0002] In agriculture, it is common practice in animal husbandry to equip a barn in which animals are kept with a collection trough. This collects the manure excreted by the animals and leads it to a collection container. This collection container can be emptied regularly so that the manure can be used, for example, as fertilizer or to generate biogas. By drawing the manure out of the barn and collecting it in the collection container, the exposed surface of the manure can be kept as small as possible, thus reducing the formation of ammonia and other substances and reducing or even completely eliminating associated odors. Hygiene within the barn is also improved for the benefit of animal welfare.

[0003] If the collection tank is emptied by means of a pump, it is referred to as a pump pit for the purposes of this proposal. The discharge of slurry from the pump pit must be prevented for environmental reasons, which can be ensured, for example, by using appropriately thick-walled concrete pump pits.

[0004] The invention is based on the object of providing a pump shaft which is designed to be reliably leak-proof and can be provided as economically as possible.

[0005] This object is achieved according to the invention by a kit according to claim 1, which serves to produce a pump shaft, as well as by a pump shaft according to claim 11 and by the use of a kit or a pump shaft according to claim 15. Embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.

[0006] In other words, the invention proposes a kit for a double-shell pump shaft, namely having an outer shaft and an inner shaft arranged therein. Both the outer shaft and the inner shaft are each made of a plastic material. For example, plastic sheets can be used to form both the floors and the surrounding walls of the inner and outer shafts. To keep manufacturing costs low, the plastic sheets can be processed as flat panels, with the inner and outer shafts each having a polygonal outline, for example, a rectangular outline. The plastic sheets used for the inner shaft can, for example, have a material thickness of 6 mm, and for the outer shaft a material thickness of 10 mm.Since the kit is significantly lighter than a thick-walled precast concrete component, both transport and handling, as well as the necessary equipment, allow for the kit to be deployed on site at particularly cost-effective rates. The double-walled design of the pump shaft allows leaks in the inner tank to be detected, and repair measures can be initiated before fluid can escape from the outer tank and enter the environment.

[0007] According to the invention, a base wall is located on the outer ground inside the outer shaft, which, during use, creates a border into which a base slab made of a concrete material, for example cast-in-situ concrete, can be inserted on site, thus eliminating the need to transport heavy precast concrete elements to the construction site. The concrete base slab extends to the upper edge of the base wall and serves to form a base on which the inner shaft is placed. Secondly, its dead weight reduces the buoyancy of the pump shaft when the pump shaft is installed in the ground. In practice, the installation in the ground allows the pump shaft to be covered with a cover plate so that the pump shaft can be accessed at the same level as the surrounding ground surface.

[0008] The base wall runs at a distance from the outer wall. When the pump shaft is in use, the inner shaft rests on the base formed by the aforementioned concrete floor slab. Outside the base wall, a circular gap is created within the outer shaft between the base wall and the outer wall. In the event of a leak in the inner shaft, fluid enters this gap.

[0009] The kit has a control tube which, when the pump shaft is in use, protrudes into the intermediate space and extends upwards from the intermediate space. Within the intermediate space, the control tube creates an inlet opening for liquid, e.g. for leakage liquid that has seeped into the intermediate space. The inlet opening can, for example, consist of the control tube being placed at an angle on the outer floor with its lower end or being held at a distance above the outer floor. Alternatively, the pipe wall at the lower end of the control tube can be wavy or have a notch so that this lower end does not fit tightly against the outer floor. Alternatively, the pipe wall of the control tube can be provided with through-holes so that liquid can enter the control tube from the outside. If the space between the base wall and the outer wall is filled with material during use of the pump shaft, for example with granules or a casting compound, the control pipe creates a cavity in which the leakage fluid can collect.

[0010] The kit also includes a sensor that, when the pump chamber is in use, serves to detect the fluid collected in the inspection tube. For example, an electrical sensor can be installed there, and the sensor cable can run upward through the inspection tube. In a particularly simple and economical design, a dipstick, similar to an oil dipstick in an internal combustion engine, can extend downward through the inspection tube into the gap, so that the lower end of the dipstick is wetted in the event of a leak.

[0011] In one embodiment, the inner shaft has stiffening ribs attached to the outside of the inner wall. The stiffening ribs run diagonally or horizontally, thus deviating from the vertical. In this way, they not only serve to stiffen the inner wall to stabilize the inner shaft during its manufacture, transport, and on site during the construction of the pump shaft, and possibly later during its use. The stiffening ribs also act as a buoyancy brake when the wall space between the inner and outer walls of the pump shaft is filled with a filling material that interacts with the stiffening ribs in a form-fitting manner.

[0012] In one embodiment, additional stiffening of the inner shaft is achieved by two or more stiffening ribs being arranged one above the other at a distance and having aligned bores through which a stabilizing bar made of steel extends, for example in the form of a reinforcing steel bar, in particular a gate steel, which has a particularly high strength due to its manufacturing process.

[0013] In one embodiment, a pipe socket is arranged in both the inner and outer walls, whereby the two pipe sockets are arranged in such a way that they are aligned with one another when the inner shaft is inserted into the outer shaft to form the pump shaft. This makes it possible to push a pipe through the two aligned pipe sockets when constructing the pump shaft. The space between the inner wall of the inner shaft and the outer wall of the outer shaft can then be filled with a filling material, for example with a granulate such as sand or chippings, or with a casting compound such as in-situ concrete, without the filling material getting into the inner shaft or out of the outer shaft. The pipe can then either be pulled out or it can remain in place and also be connected via a typical pipe connection such asA socket connection enables a reliably tight connection to other piping elements, for example to an outlet line through which the slurry is pumped out of the pump shaft.

[0014] In one embodiment, the kit includes a drainage pipe. Due to its dimensions and, if necessary, prefabricated from straight sections and corner pieces, the drainage pipe is designed to run in the space between the base wall and the outer wall. The height of the base wall is at least as high as the diameter of the drainage pipe, so that the drainage pipe can be completely accommodated in the space. Furthermore, in this embodiment, both the drainage pipe and the control pipe are designed to connect to one another. While the drainage pipe runs horizontally within the space, the control pipe extends from the drainage pipe and upwards out of the space. The drainage pipe creates a channel between the base wall and the outer wall in which leakage fluid can collect. The sensor can be arranged in the drainage pipe.At a control point where the sensor is located in the drainage pipe or at the bottom of the control pipe, the leaking fluid can be detected, even if the leak point is far away from this control point. If the gap is filled with a granulate or sealing compound, the drainage pipe creates a collecting space into which the leaking fluid can penetrate and through which it can reach the control point without significant flow resistance, thus enabling detection of the leaking fluid within a short time after the leak occurs.

[0015] In one embodiment, the kit contains a geotextile which is designed to run above the gap between the base wall and the outer wall. For example, correspondingly narrow strips of geotextile can be used to cover the gap at the top. The geotextile is permeable to liquids and can be designed, for example, as a close-meshed grid, but preferably as a fleece. If the wall gap between the inner and outer walls is filled during the construction of the pump shaft in order to stabilize the inner shaft against the internal pressure exerted by the liquid manure that occurs during use, a granulate can be used for this purpose, but preferably a particularly pressure-stable casting compound such as in-situ concrete. The geotextile prevents the grout from flowing downward into the gap between the base wall and the exterior wall, preventing any filler material located there from being flooded with the grout and thus blocking it. Pipes such as drainage pipes or inspection pipes cannot be undesirably sealed by the grout.

[0016] If fill material is to be inserted into the wall cavity during the construction of the pump shaft, the drainage pipe is advantageously embedded in a support material, particularly preferably a granular support material such as sand, gravel, or the like. This creates a pore volume in the cavity, ensuring a flow path for leakage fluid, allowing it to reach the drainage pipe with as little resistance as possible. The support material absorbs the weight of the fill material when it is later inserted into the wall cavity, thus protecting the drainage pipe from unwanted deformation.

[0017] In one embodiment, the aforementioned geotextile is not designed in the form of one or more narrow strips, but rather is dimensioned so large that it can be placed in the outer shaft on the base wall and any existing floor slab bordered by the base wall, and extends beyond the base wall outwards to the outer wall of the outer shaft, thus covering the gap there. The large-area design of the geotextile initially facilitates its installation and subsequently also ensures to a particularly high degree that the geotextile remains as desired over the gap and maintains its position, thus simplifying and accelerating the construction of the pump shaft and thus having a positive economic impact.

[0018] In one embodiment, the inner shaft has stabilizing ribs on the inside of the inner wall. These serve to prevent waviness and similar undesirable deformations of the inner shaft during handling and transport, as well as during production and up until the pump shaft is commissioned.

[0019] In one embodiment, a pump base is located on the inner floor of the inner shaft. The pump serves to pump the slurry out of the pump shaft during use, for example, via an outlet line that runs through the two pipe sockets mentioned above. For secure, stationary installation of the pump in the inner shaft, the pump can be screwed to the pump base without the threaded holes extending into the inner floor and compromising the tightness of the inner shaft.

[0020] In one embodiment, a groove runs through the respective floor surface of the inner or outer shaft, into which the respective wall of the inner or outer shaft can be inserted. The width of the groove is accordingly dimensioned to accommodate the respective wall, and the width is advantageously dimensioned so that the wall is accommodated in the groove with as little play as possible, or even without play. The groove facilitates the construction of the inner or outer shaft by allowing the wall to be correctly positioned and fixed on the respective shaft floor. This is particularly true if the wall is assembled from several separate wall elements. Fixing the wall supports the creation of a reliably tight connection, e.g. in the form of a welded joint, between the wall and the respective shaft floor, thus improving the leak resistance of the pump shaft during use.

[0021] The invention further relates to a pump shaft assembled from the kit according to the invention and additionally comprising a base plate made of a concrete material. The base plate is arranged in the outer shaft and within the base wall and supports the inner shaft. The pump shaft further comprises granulate arranged in the space between the base wall and the outer wall. Finally, the pump shaft also comprises a filler material arranged above this space in the wall space between the inner and outer walls. The base plate can be provided as a prefabricated concrete element or cast from in-situ concrete on site. The granulate in the space allows leakage fluid to seep down to the inspection pipe. The filling material in the wall cavity prevents bulging of the inner shaft when it is filled with slurry during use and transfers the compressive forces to the outer wall of the outer shaft, which in turn transfers the compressive forces into the surrounding soil.

[0022] In one design of the pump shaft, the base slab is made of cast-in-place concrete. This not only avoids the handling of heavy precast concrete elements, but also ensures that the space enclosed by the base wall is optimally and completely filled with concrete material.

[0023] In one embodiment, grit forms the support material in the gap. Compared to smaller grain sizes such as sand, grit provides large free flow cross-sections, allowing the leak fluid to flow with as little resistance as possible.

[0024] In one embodiment, a concrete material forms the filler material in the cavity between the walls. The use of a grout, as opposed to a granular filler, effectively prevents subsequent compaction of the filler material and ensures the absorption of high compressive forces, thus providing optimal support for the interior wall. Despite the use of a grout, initial, non-public tests have surprisingly shown that sufficiently large flow paths in the form of cracks, gaps, or the like exist through which leakage fluid emerging from the interior shaft can flow downwards and into the cavity between the base wall and the exterior wall, ensuring that the leak can be detected using the sensor.

[0025] Finally, the invention relates to the use of a kit according to the invention or a pumping shaft according to the invention as a collection container for the manure of animals kept in a stable.

[0026] The invention relates, firstly, to a kit for producing a pump shaft, comprising an outer shaft having an outer base and a closed, annular outer wall which connects to the outer base in a liquid-tight manner, and comprising an inner shaft which is arranged within the outer shaft, having an inner base and a closed, annular inner wall which connects to the inner base in a liquid-tight manner and runs at a distance from the outer wall, wherein the outer shaft and the inner shaft are each made of a plastic material, and wherein the outer shaft has a base wall on the outer base which runs inside and at a distance from the outer wall, and comprising a pipe referred to as a control pipe which is designed to extend upwards from the space between the base wall and the outer wall and to create an inlet opening for liquid in this space, and comprising a sensor, which is designed to be placed in the space between the base wall and the outer wall.,

[0030] The kit may comprise a drainage pipe adapted to extend in the space between the base wall and the outer wall, wherein the base wall is at least as high as the diameter of the drainage pipe, and wherein the drainage pipe and the control pipe are adapted to connect to one another.

[0031] The kit may include a geotextile designed to run above the space between the base wall and the exterior wall.

[0032] The kit can be designed so that the geotextile is arranged to run in the outer shaft above the base wall and to extend all the way around to the outer wall.

[0033] The kit can be designed so that the inner shaft has stabilizing ribs on the inside of the inner wall.

[0034] The kit can be designed so that a pump base is arranged on the inner floor of the inner shaft.

[0035] The kit can be designed in such a way that a groove runs in the surface of the inner floor and / or outer floor in an annular manner, which is designed to receive the respective corresponding inner wall or outer wall.

[0036] Secondly, the invention relates to a pump shaft which is composed of a kit as described above and which has a base plate made of a concrete material which is arranged in the outer shaft within the base wall and supports the inner shaft, and with a support material designed as a granulate which is arranged in the space between the base wall and the outer wall, and with a filling material which is arranged between the inner wall and the outer wall.

[0039] The pump shaft can be designed so that a concrete material forms the filling material between the inner wall and the outer wall.

[0040] Thirdly, the invention relates to the use of a kit according to the invention for producing a collecting container for liquid manure excreted by animals kept in a stable or to the use of a pump shaft according to the invention as a collecting container for liquid manure excreted by animals kept in a stable.

[0041] Further features, details, and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the wording of the claims and from the following description of exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings. They show: Fig. 1 a perspective view from above of an upwardly open, uncovered pump shaft, Fig. 2 a top view of the pump shaft of Fig. 1, with three places enlarged, Fig. 3 a vertical section through the pump shaft along the line III - III in Fig. 2, where one spot is shown enlarged, Fig. 4 a perspective view from above of an upwardly open, uncovered outer shaft used to construct the pump shaft of Fig. 1 can be used, Fig. 5 a perspective view from above of an upwardly open, uncovered inner shaft used to produce the pump shaft of Fig. 1 can be used, and the Fig. 6 to 8 three views of an inner shaft used to construct the pump shaft of Fig. 1 can be used.

[0042] Fig. Figure 4 shows an outer shaft 1 intended to form part of a pump shaft, and which has an outer floor 2 and an outer wall 3. Since the outer shaft 1 has a rectangular plan, the outer wall 3 is formed by two longitudinal walls 4 and two end walls 5. Both the outer floor and the longitudinal walls 4 and the end walls 5 are made of plastic panels, with the outer wall 3 in the illustrated embodiment having a material thickness of 10 mm. At their respective contact lines, the plastic panels are connected to one another in a liquid-tight manner, and in the illustrated embodiment they are welded together. In one of the two end walls 5 there is a bore 6 which is dimensioned to accommodate a pipe section with a diameter of DN 160 mm. The outer shaft 1 is in Fig. 4 is shown in a not yet fully completed state, as will be explained in more detail later.

[0043] Fig. Figure 5 shows an inner shaft 7, which is also intended to form part of a pump shaft and which has smaller dimensions than the outer shaft 1, so that the inner shaft 7 can be placed inside the outer shaft 1. The inner shaft 7 has an inner floor 8 and a circumferential inner wall 9, which has two inner longitudinal walls 10 and two inner end walls 11. As with the outer shaft 1, one of the two end walls 11 of the inner shaft 7 also has a bore 6 which has the same diameter as the bore 6 of the outer shaft 1 and which is positioned such that the two bores 6 are aligned with one another when the inner shaft 7 is placed inside the outer shaft 1. Similar to the outer shaft 1, the inner shaft 7 is also constructed from plastic panels, which in the illustrated embodiment have a material thickness of 6 mm.

[0044] On the outer side of the inner wall 9, on the inner longitudinal walls 10 and the inner end walls 11, there are diagonally arranged stiffening ribs 12. The stiffening ribs 12 are arranged so that two or three stiffening ribs 12 lie one above the other, as will be explained in more detail later. On the inner side of the inner wall 9, brackets 13 are arranged opposite one another. They serve to hold transport securing devices such as squared timbers, which can be screwed to the brackets 13, serve to improve the dimensional stability of the inner shaft 7 during transport and can then be removed. In addition, the illustrated embodiment shows stabilizing ribs 14, which, like the aforementioned transport securing devices, improve the dimensional stability of the inner shaft 7.The stabilizing ribs 14 are made of plastic and, unlike the transport locks, are permanently connected to the inner wall 9, for example, glued or welded. At both ends of the elongated inner shaft 7, stabilizing ribs 14 are each U-shaped and connected to the respective end wall 11 and the two longitudinal walls 10, while in the center of the inner shaft 7, a stabilizing rib 14 is double-T-shaped and connects the two longitudinal walls 10. Finally, triangular corner connectors 15 also serve to ensure the dimensional stability of the inner shaft 7 by connecting two abutting plastic panels at the contact lines.

[0045] Hooks 16, which are arranged on the outside of the inner wall 9, have a substantially L-shaped configuration in the illustrated embodiment, although they can also be substantially T-shaped. They serve to securely guide lashing straps, lifting straps, or similar handling or securing elements during the manufacture, transport, and installation of the inner shaft 7 in the manufacture of a pump shaft. The Fig. The inner shaft 7 shown in Figure 5 is shown in a not yet fully completed state.

[0046] The Fig. 6 to 8 show the inner shaft 7 in its completed state: Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 explain that the stiffening ribs 12 are provided with holes which are aligned with each other in the vertical direction and that stabilizing bars 17 made of gate steel, indicated by dashed lines, are inserted into these holes. Fig. Figure 7 also shows that the end wall 11 is partially broken away, so that a pump base 18 can be seen on the inner floor 8 of the inner shaft 7. A pump can be installed on the pump base 18, which, when the pump shaft is in use, pumps slurry out of the inner shaft 7 and thus out of the pump shaft.

[0047] Fig. 8 shows a plan view of the inner shaft 7, where the pump base 18 can be seen.

[0048] Fig. Figure 1 shows a pump shaft 19, which is constructed from various elements at the place of its commissioning, whereby, among other things, the outer shaft 1 and the inner shaft 7 are components of a kit from which the pump shaft 19 is constructed. Due to the different dimensions, a wall gap results between the outer wall 3 and the inner wall 9. Further components of the pump shaft 19 are shown in Fig. 1 shows two inspection pipes 20 and a pipe socket 21. The inspection pipes 20 extend upward within the wall space and end above the inner and outer shafts 1 and 7, and the pipe socket 21 is arranged in the bore 6 of the outer wall 3.

[0049] Fig. Figure 2 shows a top view of the pump shaft 19. It can be seen that a drainage pipe 22 runs between the inner shaft 7 and the outer shaft 1, to which the two inspection pipes 20 are connected. The enlarged view of the upper left corner shows a base wall 23, which will be explained in more detail later, and indicates that the drainage pipe 22 runs below the stiffening ribs 12. The enlarged view of the inspection pipe 20 shown at the bottom left shows that it runs diagonally upwards from the drainage pipe 22.

[0050] The enlarged and partially broken-away view in the area of the end walls 5 and 11 shows that two pipe sockets 21 are arranged in the two bores 6. The bores 6 and thus also the pipe sockets 21 are arranged in alignment with one another so that a pipe section can be inserted into the two pipe sockets 21 in order to create a liquid-tight pipe penetration through the wall of the pump shaft 19. If the wall space between the outer wall 3 of the outer shaft 1 and the inner wall 9 of the inner shaft 7 is filled with a filling material such as a concrete grouting compound, a pipe section temporarily inserted into the two pipe sockets 21 can ensure that the filling material does not run out of the wall space through the bores 6. For example, this temporary pipe section can remain in the pipe sockets 21 until a grouting compound has hardened or set.Or it can remain there permanently and be connected to further pipe sections, for example to create an outlet line leading from the pump shaft 19 by a feed pump mounted on the pump base 18.

[0051] Fig. 3 shows a vertical section through the pump shaft 19 along the line III - III of Fig. 2. The base wall 23 extends at a distance from the outer wall 3 of the outer shaft 1, so that a gap 24 is created which has the height of the base wall 23. Within the ring-shaped base wall 23, a base plate 25 has been created by in-situ concrete, which forms a base for the inner shaft 7. As the enlarged section in Fig. 3 makes clear, however, the inner shaft 7 with its inner floor 8 does not stand directly on the base plate 25. Rather, a geotextile 26, which in the illustrated embodiment is designed as a fleece, lies on the base plate 25 and extends radially outwards beyond the base plate 25 and the base wall 23 up to the circumferential outer wall 3 of the outer shaft 1. The intermediate space 24 is thus delimited at the top by the geotextile 26. The intermediate space 24 is filled around the drainage pipe 22 with a supporting material 27 in the form of gravel.

[0052] In Fig. 3, it is not shown that the wall space above the gap 24 can be filled with a filling material, for example, with a grout in the form of in-situ concrete. The inclined support ribs 12 ensure a positive fit with this filling material and counteract the buoyancy of the inner shaft 7 within the outer shaft 1.

[0053] The invention is not limited to one of the embodiments described above, but can be modified in many ways.

[0054] All features and advantages arising from the claims, the description and the drawings, including design details, spatial arrangements and method steps, can be essential to the invention both individually and in a wide variety of combinations.
