Abstract
Description
Justification for its uniqueness
[0001] The saw blade guide is adjustable in two dimensions. The wear parts are standard components, not custom-made, which significantly simplifies spare parts supply. The assembly can be retrofitted or converted into older models, resulting in considerable cost savings. Improvements to previous functionality
[0002] The saw blade is guided not by bolted carbide plates, but by roller ball bearings, both laterally and on the back of the blade. These are infinitely adjustable to the respective blade thickness and the blade's path within the machine. In previous models, the blade guide could not be adjusted at all. Adjusting the width was only possible by mechanically modifying the base components. Justification as an innovation
[0003] The new assembly design and the use of standardized parts eliminate dependence on suppliers and spare parts manufacturers. This ensures simpler maintenance, a longer service life, and easier repairs. The use of deep groove ball bearings and the new saw blade guide design significantly simplifies setup, and quick adjustments and replacement of wear parts can be carried out on-site by the user. This drastically reduces machine downtime, resulting in cost and time savings. Improved device for sawing railway tracks
[0004] The present invention relates to a device for cutting railway tracks, particularly in confined spaces, which represents a significant improvement over the prior art. State of the art
[0005] Existing methods for cutting damaged rail sections often have significant drawbacks. Conventional sawing methods are generally time-consuming, generate a high level of noise, and produce considerable dust. Furthermore, these methods are often associated with high operating costs. The old saw blade guide cannot be adjusted on-site and can only be repaired with precisely fitting, custom-made parts, resulting in long downtimes and cost-effectiveness. The goal of the development
[0006] The aim of this development is to provide a device that overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, a device is to be created which: • Efficient: Cutting processes can be completed in a significantly shorter time. • Precise: Clean and more accurate cuts guaranteed. • Sustainable: On-site repairs using standard parts, made possible by the user. • Flexible: Can be used under a wide variety of conditions, especially in confined spaces. • Economically: High operating and repair costs are avoided, making it cost-efficient in the long term. Description of the development
[0007] The device according to the invention is characterized by an optimized saw band guide, which offers the following advantages: • Faster cutting speeds: More precise guidance of the saw band results in a significant acceleration of the cutting process. • Reduced wear: Gentle treatment of the saw blade extends its service life and thus reduces maintenance costs. • Higher cutting quality: The optimized guide ensures clean and precise cuts, minimizing post-processing. Advantages of the invention
[0008] The present invention offers the following advantages over the prior art: • Significant time savings: The optimized saw band guidance enables a significant reduction in cutting time. • Cost savings: The longer service life of the saw blade and the reduced need for rework significantly lower operating costs. • Environmental friendliness: Spare parts are supplied using standardized components, preventing long delivery routes and delays. Furthermore, the new saw blade guide can be easily retrofitted into existing systems. • Flexibility: The device can be repaired by the user and is more flexible in its use thanks to the adjustable saw band guide. Areas of application
[0009] The device according to the invention is particularly suitable for use in the following areas: • Railway companies: For the maintenance and expansion of railway lines. • Construction companies: In connection with track construction work. • Industrial companies: In sectors where rails are used, such as in the steel industry. Summary
[0010] The present invention represents a significant advancement in the field of railway track cutting. The optimized saw blade guidance achieves high efficiency, precision, and cost-effectiveness. The invention thus offers considerable benefits to all companies involved in the maintenance and expansion of railway tracks.
