AI Technical Summary
The sealing of the lower corners of window elements to masonry in building construction is challenging, especially when windows are equipped with roller shutters, leading to moisture damage due to poor waterproofing, and existing solutions like silicone application are not professional or standard-compliant.
A prefabricated component with inner and outer parts, made of weather-resistant materials like aluminum or plastic, is bonded with bitumen and installed during window assembly to create a watertight connection, directing moisture away from the corner points.
Ensures reliable sealing during installation, allowing subsequent membrane application only in accessible areas, thus preventing moisture damage and adhering to professional standards.

Abstract
Description
The watertight connection of the lower corner points of window elements to the masonry represents one of the most difficult sealing points in civil engineering. The production of this seal is usually produced after the window assembly. The sealing web would theoretically have to be guided to behind the window frame, which is however practically not possible in a proper manner when the installation situation is narrow. In particular, if the window elements are additionally equipped with roller shutters and corresponding guide rails, the water in these guide rails is guided directly to the sealing point, which is usually produced defectively, during striking rain. This usually leads to severe damage to moist structures.Frequently, attempts are made to fill these spots with silicone or similar materials, which is neither expert nor conforms to accepted rules of the art.The invention specified in claim 1 is based on the problem of making available to the handle a prefabricated component which can already be installed during window assembly in order to produce a watertight connection between the window element and the structural body in the lower corner point of the window elements. The overall component consists of an inner part and an outer part in order to be able to be used for different frame thicknesses. The inner part is marked 1 in the drawing, the outer part is marked 2. The respective view drawings are shown as 1a (inner part) and 2a (outer part). The dimensions included in the drawing are given in the unit of measurement mm.Since the inner and outer parts have different details, an overall component is provided for the left and an overall component is provided for the right window corner. The component is made of a weather-resistant material. Aluminum or else plastic are suitable for this purpose. The inner and outer components are glued together according to the thickness of the window profile. To produce this bond, the components are provided with a bitumen coating. These adhesive surfaces are shown checkered in the drawing. The waterproof sealing corner thus produced is bonded to the window frame at the corner before window mounting. The component is no longer visible after completion of the house facade, since it is located completely behind the facade and is covered by the latter. The legs of the component are at an obtuse angle (93°) to one another. This ensures that moisture, which possibly runs down over the roller shutter guide rails, is reliably guided to the adhesive bond of the window glazing. The invention achieves that a secured watertight seal of the corner points is already produced during the assembly of the windows. Subsequent working on of a sealing track is then only necessary in readily accessible areas. The connection point window / masonry can thus be produced in a manner appropriate to the skilled art.
