Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a hybrid solar-wind generator and a hybrid solar-wind-water generator.
[0002] Solar power plants, wind power plants and hydropower plants are known in the state of the art.
[0003] One object of the present invention is to improve upon the prior art. In particular, it is an object of the invention to provide a hybrid solar-wind generator or solar-wind-water generator with a compact design, which exhibits higher energy yield and reliability compared to prior art solar power plants.
[0004] Another objective of the invention is to increase the space and resource efficiency of the generator compared to the prior art.
[0005] Another objective of the invention is to improve the sustainability and environmental friendliness of the state of the art.
[0006] This problem is solved by a hybrid solar-wind generator with the features of independent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
[0007] The device according to the invention serves to generate energy or electricity using solar, wind and / or hydropower. The following terms will be explained:
[0008] A hybrid solar-wind generator is understood to be a device for generating electricity that uses solar energy and / or wind energy for power generation.
[0009] A hybrid solar-wind-water generator is a device for generating electricity that uses solar energy, wind energy and / or water energy for power generation.
[0010] The device according to the invention advantageously achieves a higher energy yield and reliability compared to prior art solar or wind power plants.
[0011] Solar power plants produce electricity during the day, while wind energy is often available at night or provides power in cloudy weather. This advantageously leads to a more consistent energy production.
[0012] Another advantage is that fluctuations in one energy source, such as solar energy, can be balanced out by the other, such as wind power, thus increasing system stability. This also leads to less dependence on a single source.
[0013] Another advantage of the invention is that a hybrid generator is space-saving, as it integrates solar cells and wind turbine into a single system.
[0014] Another advantage is that the duplication of infrastructure can be avoided. The invention enables the shared use of components such as foundations, cabling, inverters, and energy storage, thus reducing overall costs and material requirements.
[0015] A generator typically has a preferred direction of rotation. Therefore, a wind power generation device has a preferred wind direction, which is used for power generation. This wind direction is also called the direction of the utilized wind.
[0016] The hybrid solar-wind generator according to the invention has the advantage that the surface area of the generator frame is optimally utilized for energy generation, since part of the surface has solar cells and the remaining part of the surface has one or more devices for generating electricity from wind power. It is particularly advantageous that the frame can be oriented so that the wind runs along the top of the generator frame in the direction of the wind being used, thus enabling optimal utilization of wind power.
[0017] According to a preferred embodiment of the generator, the device for generating electricity from wind power is arranged on, within, or attached to the top of the frame such that a wind intake is positioned above the top of the frame. The height of the intake depends on the vertical height of the power generation device.
[0018] According to a further, preferred embodiment, the at least one device for generating electricity from wind power comprises a shaft and at least one radially extending blade element. The shaft runs parallel to the top of the frame, and its ends are each attached to the frame. Preferably, the shaft is attached to opposite ends of the frame. The at least one radially extending blade element is attached to the shaft at one end.
[0019] Radial here means that the wing element extends radially outwards away from an axis of the shaft.
[0020] Preferably, the device for generating electricity from wind power has at least two, at least three, at least four, at least five, or at least six wing elements. It is further preferred that the number of wing elements is greater than six.
[0021] According to another preferred embodiment, the shaft runs at the level of the top of the frame. This advantageously results in a mechanically simple design and construction. Furthermore, it advantageously ensures that the wind energy is utilized directly at the level of the top of the frame.
[0022] According to a further preferred embodiment, the frame has at least one recess in which the at least one power generation device is arranged. The recess advantageously allows the wind turbine, which comprises the shaft and the at least one blade element, to be positioned at the level of the top of the frame, thus enabling maximum utilization of the wind power.
[0023] Preferably the generator has at least two recesses, with a device for generating electricity from wind power arranged in each recess.
[0024] According to a further preferred embodiment, the at least one wing element comprises: two parallel, radially outward extending wing frame elements, each of which is attached to the shaft at one end.
[0025] According to a further preferred embodiment, an end of the at least one wing element of the at least one device for generating electricity from wind power, which is facing away from the shaft, has a wind-impact element.
[0026] The wind deflector element serves to capture the wind. The wind deflector element is preferably arranged and / or shaped such that the wind force is optimally utilized. The feature of this embodiment, in combination with the feature of the embodiment described previously, advantageously achieves that, on the one hand, the wing element has a low weight and, on the other hand, the available wind force can be optimally utilized. Due to the low weight, the available force can be converted into a greater torque.
[0027] According to another preferred embodiment, the wind impact element of the at least one wing element is arranged between the wing frame elements.
[0028] According to another preferred embodiment, the wind deflector element extends along the length of the shaft and has a constant profile when viewed along the axis of the shaft.
[0029] According to another preferred embodiment, the wind impact element has a V-shaped profile.
[0030] The V-shaped profile is preferably arranged such that a vector pointing from the wing element to the apex of the V points in approximately the same direction as the wind direction being used. This advantageously allows the wind power to be used more effectively and thus a higher torque to be achieved.
[0031] According to a further preferred embodiment, the generator also includes an AC generator connected to the shaft. This advantageously makes it possible to generate alternating current from the rotational movement of the shaft in a simple manner.
[0032] In another aspect, the invention is solved by a solar-wind-water generator with the features of claim 11. Advantageous further developments of the invention are specified in dependent claims 12 and 13.
[0033] According to this embodiment of the solar-wind-water generator, the at least one device for generating electricity from wind power uses not only wind power but also water power, in particular from rain. This embodiment can also be considered an embodiment of a solar-wind generator that additionally uses water power.
[0034] According to a preferred embodiment of the solar-wind-water generator, the at least one device for generating electricity from wind power further comprises at least one water deflection element attached to the frame.
[0035] The water deflection element serves to deflect water falling onto the device from above onto the half of the at least one wind power generation device that faces the direction of the wind being used. This advantageously directs the deflected water onto the half facing away from the direction of the wind being used.
[0036] The half of the wind turbine towards which the water is directed is the half that moves downwards, so that the redirected water causes the turbine to spin faster and generate more electricity.
[0037] According to a further preferred embodiment, the water deflection element comprises: two support elements arranged at opposite ends on the top of the frame and extending perpendicular to the top of the frame; and a roof element which is attached to each of the tops of the support elements, the roof element being inclined relative to the top of the frame along the direction of the wind used towards the top of the frame.
[0038] An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is explained in more detail in the following description. Fig. Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a hybrid solar-wind-water generator in a three-dimensional view.
[0039] Fig. Figure 1 shows a hybrid solar-wind-water generator 100 with a frame 110. The frame 110 has three solar modules 121 and two devices 130 for generating electricity from wind power. Each solar module 121 has a plurality of solar cells 120.
[0040] Between each adjacent solar module 121, a device 130 for generating electricity from wind power is arranged. The arrangement of the three solar modules 121 and the two devices 130 for generating electricity from wind power is arranged along a longitudinal axis of the frame 110.
[0041] The solar modules 121 are arranged on a top surface 112 of the frame 110.
[0042] One direction 150 of the wind used to generate the electricity runs along the top 112 of the frame 110, in the view of the Fig. 1 from right to left.
[0043] Each device 130 for generating electricity from wind power has a shaft 132 which runs parallel to the top 112 of the frame 110 at the level of the top 112 of the frame 110 and whose ends are each attached to opposite ends or edges of the frame 110 on the frame 110.
[0044] Each device 130 for generating electricity from wind power further comprises six radially extending wing elements 135, each of which is attached at one end to the shaft 132.
[0045] The frame 110 has two recesses 111 on its upper surface 112, in each of which a device 130 for generating electricity is arranged.
[0046] Each wing element 135 has two parallel, radially outward extending wing frame elements 137, each of which is attached to the shaft 132 at one end 138.
[0047] Each end of the wing element 135 facing away from the shaft 132 has a wind deflector element 140, which is attached at both ends to the wing frame elements 137 of the respective wing element 135.
[0048] Each of the six wind deflector elements 140 extends along the length of the shaft 130 and has a uniform profile when viewed along the axis of the shaft 130. In the embodiment of the Fig. 1 The wind deflector element 140 has a V-shaped profile.
[0049] The view of Fig. 1. Wind blowing from right to left along direction 150 strikes the upper surface 112 of the frame 110 and the wing elements 135 of the wind power generation device 130 located above the upper surface 112. This causes the shafts 132 of the wind power generation device 130 to be, in the view of the Fig. 1. The shafts are driven counterclockwise. Each shaft 132 is connected to an AC generator 160, which can generate alternating current.
[0050] The V-shaped profiles of the wind deflector elements 140 are shown in the view of the Fig. 1 arranged such that the vectors pointing from the respective wing element 135 to the vertex of the respective V point counterclockwise.
[0051] Those V-shaped profiles of the wind deflection elements 140 which are located above the top 112 of the frame 110 at a given time point with their respective vertices of the respective profiles in approximately the same direction as the direction 150 of the utilized wind.
[0052] To utilize hydropower, especially from rain, a water deflection element 115 is used in each device 130 for generating electricity from wind power.
[0053] Each water deflection element 115 is attached to the frame 110 and serves to deflect water falling from above onto the device, in particular rainwater, onto that half 148 of the respective wind power generation device 130 which faces the direction 150 of the wind being used. Since in the view of the Fig. 1 where the direction 150 of the used wind points from right to left, this refers to the left half 148 of the respective device 130 for generating electricity from wind power.
[0054] The water deflection element 115 causes the deflected water to fall from above onto the left half 148 of the respective device 130 for generating electricity from wind power. Since in the view of the Fig. 1. Rotating the waves 132 counterclockwise causes the water to be diverted to the left half 148 of the respective device 130 for generating electricity from wind power, so that the waves 132 can rotate faster and more electricity can be generated.
[0055] Each water deflection element 115 has two support elements 161, 162 arranged at opposite ends 113, 114 on the top 112 of the frame 110 and extending perpendicular to the top 112 of the frame 110.
[0056] Each water deflection element 115 further comprises a roof element 164, which is attached to one of the upper sides of the support elements 161, 162, the roof element 164 being inclined at 5° relative to the upper side 112 of the frame 110 along the direction 150 of the prevailing wind towards the upper side 112 of the frame 110. This inclination causes water or rain striking the roof element 164 from above to be deflected in the view of the Fig.1 flows along the direction 150 of the utilized wind and downwards to fall onto the left half 148 of the respective device 130 for generating electricity from wind power, thereby making use of the hydropower of the water or rain used.
