Abstract
Description
There are various emergency systems for persons in need of assistance, such as telephones, watches or hand-off emergency buttons for alerting trustees or the rescue service. All these devices are designed for human operation. In the course of the formation of assistance dogs, the possibility of operating an emergency button is regularly requested by the respective assistance dog as assistance power. However, animal operation by dogs is not present in any of the devices existing on the market.According to the present invention, "emergency switches for dogs", a dog can make an emergency call regardless of its size and weight. For this purpose, the dog can optionally use the snauze or the paw to trigger an emergency call via the foot button of the invention by pressing. The controller is optionally housed in a separate housing or in the housing of the foot switch (optionally FIG. 1 or FIG. 2 ).After the foot button (1) has been operated, an emergency is sent via the Internet connection via W-LAN (6) and optionally via a GSM connection (8) as a telephone call or a text message to a message handler service or as an SMS or mail, etc. via the programmable controller (7). The respective recipients of the individual notifications and the emergency text may be individually set by the user. The emergency switch indicates the state by means of a built-in LED (3). Thus, the operational readiness, the fault case and a triggering by different colors and, if applicable, flashing of the LED ( 3) are indicated. The settings are made by the web surface of the emergency switch or its controller ( 7). There, the local WLAN settings and the respective connection data for emergency alerting of a plurality of persons can be stored. For the power supply (5), the emergency switch is connected to a 230V socket by means of a power supply unit. For the GSM connection (8), a commercially available SIM card can be inserted.By means of a built-in control knob (4) the emergency switch can be reset to the factory settings or a training mode can be activated. On the basis of the training mode, the foot switch can be actuated during the training or training of the dog without an alerting being issued. In the training mode, only the correct actuation by the dog is indicated, so that the dog can be rewarded.
Claims
The emergency button is characterized by a modified foot button with which the actuation by small and large dogs or other animals is possibleThe emergency button according to claim 1da is characterized in that it contains a control unit in separate housing (Fig. 1) or integrated (Fig. 2) with a power connection via a separate 5V transformer (5)The emergency button is characterized according to one of the preceding claims bya programmable control unit (7) with a WLAN module (6) and a GSM module (8), which continuously checks itself and also the connected modules for functionality and displays this by the built-in LED (4).The emergency button according to any one of the preceding claims is characterized in that it represents its operational readiness or its operating state by a built-in color LED by means of different colors in continuous lighting or flashing. The emergency button according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the following operating conditions can be set by pressing the built-in button: • resetting to the factory setting possible • activating a training mode for training by the dog
