AI Technical Summary
The Bosch Cookit food processor's touch display is prone to soiling from dripping liquids or dusty foods, leading to operational issues such as incorrect recognition and uncontrolled speed or temperature fluctuations, which can damage the cooked product during cooking or stirring.
A plastic cover with a glass insert is placed over the touch display to prevent soiling, remaining operable and easily removable for cleaning, secured by neodymium magnets.
The cover effectively protects the display from soiling and damage, ensuring uninterrupted operation and post-use protection against scratches, without interfering with the appliance's functionality.

Abstract
Description
Field of application is in the field of applicationThe invention is an accessory for the Bosch cookie. The Bosch cookie is a food processor that can be used to stir, break, graze, weigh and cook. The food processor is operated exclusively via a touch display.ProblemDuring operation of the Bosch Cookit food processor, the touch display can be soiled by dripping liquids or dusty foods. This has the result that the display can no longer be correctly recognized or operated. Attempting to clean the display during operation often leads to undesirable effects such as shutting down the appliance or to malfunctions such as uncontrolled increases in speed or temperature or even to the appliance being completely suspended. These disturbances are particularly detrimental during the cooking or stirring process and can damage or destroy the cooked product. A so-called key lock is not helpful because it is of course desired to operate the appliance during cooking, but above all because it does not involve the "touch-off switch".Solution to ProblemsThe disadvantages described are avoided by the invention:The invention is a plastic cover with a glass insert over the original touch display. The touch display cover is simply placed on the existing display. The simplicity of this operation is described in claim 1. The cover can remain on the display during the entire working process, since the touch display also remains operable with cover, as explained in claim 2. The cover prevents a splash guard from dropping liquids or dust between the cover and the food processor. If the cover is soiled during the operation, it can be removed very easily, rinsed under running water, briefly dried and replaced. Due to the neodymium magnets, the cover "jumps" to the correct position as it is. The current operation is not impaired, which is described in claim 3.The cover can remain on the display even after the working process and then serves as a protection against soiling or scratching, as described in claim 4.Drawings - List of Reference Numbers The following list of reference numbers applies to all figures:a display cover b glass pane c handle d integrated magnet of the display cover e planar support surface f cookie kitchen appliance g countermagnet holder, attached to the cookie h support surface for the display cover i cookie display j spray protection k double adhesive tape l bonded countermagnet (2 mm thickness) m double adhesive tape n bonded countermagnet (2 mm thickness)
Claims
Simple placement on the original display, characterized by the following points: • The bearing surface (FIG. 1 / e) of the touch display cover is completely planar (FIG. 1 & 4 / / e) and rests directly on the display (FIG. 1 / i) of the food processor • The cover has a handle (FIG. 1, 3 & 4 / c). • A magnet is integrated in the oblique front of the cover (FIG. 1 / d) and corresponds to a second magnet (FIG. 1 / g) • The second magnet (FIG. 2 / l) is very small and is installed in a magnet holder (FIG. 2 / g), which is fixed to the kitchen appliance by means of double-adhesive tape (FIG. 2 / k). (FIGS. 1 & 4 / g) • Both magnets are strong neodymium magnets (10 x 2 mm)Operability of the original display with the cover placed on it during the working process, characterized by the following points: • The cover consists of a plastic part with a glass section above the original display (FIG. 3 ) • The cover has a spray protection at the top and covers the gap between the kitchen appliance and the cover • In the cover, the glass pane is installed planar in such a way that it rests exactly on the original display together with the plastic component (FIG. 4 ) • Glass does not deform under normal conditions, so that the capacitive coupling is not adversely affected. In contrast to the use of acrylic glass, operation is still possible therewith.Simple cleaning during the working process, characterized by the following points: • The cover lies flat on (FIGS. 1 & 4 / e and FIG. 1 h ) and can be removed upwards, the touch display not being touched and influenced any further. The cover can remain on the kitchen appliance and protect it without disturbing, characterized by the following measure: • The shape of the cover exactly matches the original shape • The magnet holder (FIG. 2 / g) is very small and is held in the color of the original, white and chrome colors (FIG. 6, detail a). • The magnet holder is fastened once with double-stick tape (FIGS. 1 / g and 2 / k).
