Description

[0001] The invention relates to a reusable hygiene liquid absorber specifically designed for use on shelves of freezers and refrigeration units in retail stores. The aim is to safely absorb runoff liquids (e.g., from meat or fish packaging) to improve hygiene and prevent contamination throughout the refrigeration system.

[0002] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the attached figures using exemplary embodiments: The hygiene fluid absorber consists of an approximately 4 mm thick, absorbent felt material with a magnetic foil on the back. A double-sided adhesive strip is located between the magnetic foil and the felt material. This bond ensures stable, non-slip, and easily removable attachment to metal surfaces such as shelves or cooling system support plates.

[0003] The absorber is designed to absorb liquids and store them inside without releasing any moisture back into the environment. Attachment via the magnetic foil allows the absorber to be quickly removed, cleaned (e.g., in an industrial dishwasher up to 65°C), and reused without the need for tools.

Claims

[1] Claim 1: Hygienic liquid absorber (1) for use in refrigeration units in food retailing, comprising an absorbent felt material (2) which absorbs and stores liquids. [2] Claim 2: Hygiene liquid absorber according to claim 1, characterized by that the felt material (2) preferably has a thickness of about 4 mm, thicknesses in the range from 3 mm to 10 mm being included. [3] Claim 3: Hygiene liquid absorber according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that a magnetic foil (3) with a thickness of preferably 0.5 mm, in the range of 0.3 mm to 1 mm, is attached to the back. [4] Claim 4: Hygiene fluid absorber according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that an adhesive strip (4) is provided between the felt material (2) and the magnetic foil (3). [5] Claim 5: Hygiene fluid absorber according to one of the preceding claims, characterized bythat the adhesive strip (4) is permanently adhesive. [6] Claim 6: Hygiene fluid absorber according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the entire system (1) is suitable for cleaning in rinsing devices up to a maximum of 65°C.
