Description

[0001] The present invention relates to sports glasses with a modular frame system, which is particularly characterized by a combination of interchangeable lenses, removable temples and a hybrid sealing system. 1. Lens changing system

[0002] The sports glasses feature an interchangeable lens system in which the lenses are inserted into the frame structure using a positive-locking mechanism. This system ensures repeatable, tool-free removal and secure retention of the lenses in the frame, allowing for easy replacement depending on the application (e.g., lighting conditions or sporting activity). 2. Removable temples

[0003] The temples are connected to the frame structure by a mechanical coupling system with pressure release. By applying a defined pressure zone, the coupling is released, and the temple can be removed. This system allows for tool-free switching between different wearing options. 3. Rubber band connectivity

[0004] Instead of the temples, an elastic headband (strap) can be attached to the corresponding attachment points on the frame. This strap is similar in function and application to a ski goggle strap. The combination of temple and strap attachment allows for a hybrid approach, suitable for both high-impact sports and leisure use. 4. Sealing system

[0005] The goggles are also equipped with a replaceable sealing system consisting of at least one contour-fitting sealing unit made of foam material. The seal is attached to the inner frame of the goggles using a magnetic-mechanical hybrid connector. The system includes: • Magnetic elements for quick positioning, • as well as additional positioning pins, which engage positively in corresponding receptacles on the frame.

[0007] The combination of: • a modular plug-in system for glasses, • a tool-free, pressure-controlled bracket changing system, • the optional use of rubber bands, • as well as the magnetic-mechanical sealing system with foam pads, represents a previously unknown technical complete solution that is characterized by high adaptability and functionality under changing usage conditions.

Claims

[1] Sports glasses with a frame for accommodating at least one lens, characterized by that the lens can be inserted and removed from the frame using a form-fitting plug-in mechanism. [2] Sports glasses according to claim 1, characterized by that removable brackets are provided at the ends of the frame, which can be detached from the frame without tools by actuating a defined pressure zone. [3] Sports glasses according to claim 2, characterized by that instead of the temples, an elastic band, in particular a headband (strap), can be inserted into the designated receptacles of the frame. [4] Sports glasses according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the frame has on its inside a contour-adapted sealing unit made of foam material, which is releasably fixed to the frame by means of a magnetic-mechanical connection system. [5] Sports glasses according to claim 4, characterized bythat the connection system consists of both magnetic elements for positioning the sealing unit and mechanical positioning pins that engage in corresponding receptacles in the frame. [6] Sports glasses according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the combination of interchangeable lenses, removable temples, optional elastic headband and magnetic-mechanical sealing unit allows modular adaptation to different areas of application.
