Abstract

Connection of shoe sole and shoe upper, characterized in that for this purpose only magnets are used which are attached to both the sole and the shoe upper and the connection between shoe sole and shoe upper is established by the magnetic forces.

Description

[0001] The shoe sole and upper are usually firmly connected (e.g., glued, nailed, etc.); replacing the upper is therefore not possible without destroying the shoe or requiring professional skills (e.g., a shoemaker).

[0002] A combination of a shoe sole with an interchangeable upper (e.g., a different color or design) would significantly increase the usability and flexibility of the product.

[0003] There are already applications that serve this purpose, e.g. with replaceable straps as the shoe upper or an upper fastened with snap fasteners.

[0004] However, the overall stability of the shoe and safe use are always paramount to avoid the risk of falls and injuries caused by the connection between the sole and upper part becoming accidentally detached.

[0005] The invention to be protected here is the use of magnetic forces to create a strong connection between the shoe sole and the shoe upper that can be removed without tools or expert knowledge.

[0006] For this purpose, corresponding magnets are integrated into the sole of the shoe and also attached to the upper part of the shoe.

[0007] When assembled, the magnetic forces ensure a stable connection between the upper and the sole, which can, however, be removed again without tools if the appropriate force is applied.

[4] Connection of shoe sole and shoe upper according to claim 1, characterized by that the attached magnets, due to their magnetic attraction forces, lead to a connection between the shoe sole and the shoe upper.
