Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to hiking pants with inner legs. Hiking pants are well-known and serve to cover and protect the lower body, as well as being a fashionable garment. The trouser legs are usually long enough so that the lower edges of the pants cover the shoe openings, thus preventing moisture and dust, small plant particles, and insects from falling from above from penetrating the shoe.
[0002] The disadvantage of conventional hiking trousers is that the penetration of ticks into the hiking trousers is not completely prevented, as they can start from the shoes and reach the calves of the legs through the openings on the underside of the trouser legs.
[0003] Ticks pose a significant health threat, and one known way to prevent them is to spray or impregnate hiking trousers with an insecticide. However, the disadvantage in this case is that the insecticide evaporates, thus only providing temporary protection. Furthermore, insecticides can have adverse effects on the environment and health.
[0004] As an alternative to the use of insecticides, it is therefore recommended to use mechanical protection against ticks. For this, the waistband and upper of the (hiking) socks are pulled over the lower part of the trouser legs, which very effectively prevents ticks from penetrating. However, the disadvantage is that the gap between the (hiking) socks and the shoe opening is not protected against the penetration of moisture and dust, loose plant matter, and insects falling from above. Furthermore, the upper of the (hiking) socks is not protected from moisture, and this alternative is not very fashionable.
[0005] The invention defined in claim 1 is based on the problem of creating hiking trousers whose lower edges protectively cover the shoe entry openings and which can be used for effective mechanical protection against ticks without limiting fashionable aspects.
[0006] The problems mentioned are solved by the features listed in claim 1.
[0007] The invention ensures that the waistband and shaft of the (hiking) socks can be pulled over the lower part of the inner trouser legs in a way that is not visible from the outside and thus without compromising fashion aspects, protecting against ticks, and that the lower trouser edges protectively cover the shoe entry openings and thus prevent moisture and dust trickling down from above, small plant parts and insects from penetrating the (hiking) shoe.

The inner trouser leg 9 preferably begins at half height 42 of the lower leg 33 and ends with the lower inner trouser leg edge 12, preferably at the narrowest point 34 of the lower leg 33, located a few finger widths above the ankle joint. [1] Hiking trousers with inner legs, which have a trouser top and two long trouser legs, characterized by that each trouser leg (13, 14) is equipped with a short inner trouser leg (9), that the inner trouser legs (9) are each sewn (8) to a trouser leg (13, 14) close to the upper inner trouser leg edge (11), that the upper inner trouser leg edges (11) begin at a height below the knee area (4), that the lower inner trouser leg edges (12) each end at least 40 millimeters above the lower trouser leg edge (3), that the lower area (16) of the inner trouser legs (9) is not sewn to a trouser leg (13, 14), that the inner trouser legs (9) are each equipped with at least four circumferential elevations (19), and that the height of the elevations (19) above the outer surface of the inner trouser legs (9) is in each case at least ten millimeters.
