Abstract
Description
1. Technical area.
[0001] This utility model application relates to wide-cut shorts (shorts) whose special construction visually resembles a skirt, although technically they remain trousers. A key feature of the invention is the continuous connection (e.g., seam or material strip) of the inner leg panels, which influences both the visual perception and the functionality of the garment. 2. State of the art.
[0002] Well-known are so-called “culottes” and “skorts” (combinations of skirt and shorts).
[0003] State of the art: - The “skort” usually combines a skirt front with a shorts back. - With a “culottes” there are often tight inner shorts or leggings under a skirt layer.
[0004] However, in none of the known cases is a construction used in which the wide trouser legs themselves are designed to look like a skirt and their inner edges are continuously connected. 3. Problem and solution of the invention.
[0005] The invention relates to shorts with a wide, bell-shaped cut, in which the inner edges of both trouser legs are continuously connected to each other - from the crotch to the bottom hem - for example by a seam, a strip of fabric or another flexible connecting element.
[0006] The technical task is: - to achieve a uniform visual impression similar to a skirt, without visible gaps between the trouser legs, - to maintain the functionality of trousers (comfort when walking and sitting), - to prevent the uncontrolled gaping of the fabric** during movement, - to create a new, “ambivalent perception” that consciously plays with the visual classification of clothing. 4. Example of implementation.
[0007] In a preferred embodiment: - the shorts are made of a light, bell-shaped fabric, - there is no “separate outer skirt layer”, the shorts themselves take over the visual function. - the inner edges of both trouser legs are directly connected with a seam ( Fig. 1), - or: the inner edges of both trouser legs are connected by a strip of fabric, which allows freedom of movement ( Fig. 2). - or: the construction is created "the other way around": a skirt is turned into trousers by a night, or two parallel seams (two trouser legs are created). ( Fig. 3) - freedom of movement is always possible thanks to the wide cut of the trouser legs, - on the outside, the image of a continuous fabric is created, so that observers perceive the shorts as a skirt, - an elastic waistband or a concealed zipper can serve as a closure.

Claims
[1] Wide-cut shorts, characterized by that the inner edges of both trouser legs are continuously connected from the crotch to the bottom of the leg, creating a uniform fabric area. [2] Shorts according to claim 1, in which the connection is realized by a seam, a strip of fabric or another flexible connecting element. [3] Shorts according to claim 1 or 2, which visually correspond to a skirt when standing. [4] Shorts according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the fabric is designed to expand during movement without losing the visual appearance of a skirt. [5] Shorts according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the continuous connection prevents the trouser legs from accidentally opening when sitting. [6] A garment according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the construction is reversed from a skirt in which a central seam creates a division into trouser legs. [7] A garment according to claim 6, wherein two parallel seams in a skirt are used to form, by stitching, a pair of trouser legs which visually continue to show a skirt structure to the outside. [8] A garment according to any one of claims 6 or 7, wherein the seams are designed to be detachable or elastic to allow variable switching between skirt and trouser functions.
