Claims
[1] Use of an open-pored polymer powder with pore sizes in the range of 10 to 500 nanometers, an open-cell structure for the passive, directed release of fragrances, wherein the polymer powder is present on or in a textile or textile-like carrier material. [2] Use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the polymer powder is rechargeable in that fragrances can be added multiple times without affecting the structure or performance of the material. [3] Use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the polymer powder is thermally, mechanically and chemically stable, in particular against typical stresses in textile applications, including temperature, friction, moisture and UV radiation. [4] Use according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the polymer powder does not adsorb volatile molecules from the environment and thereby enables selective release of the desired fragrance. [5] Use according to one of the preceding claims in products selected from the group: home textiles, clothing, sports textiles, automotive interiors, mattresses, upholstery materials, cleaning textiles, nonwovens, technical textiles, furniture textiles, packaging textiles and related textile fabrics.
