Description

[0001] The invention relates to a device for attaching track marking bolts to masts, comprising a base and at least one clamping device which can be actuated by means of a clamping screw, wherein the base has a bore.

[0002] To supply electrically powered rail vehicles, masts are used to support the overhead lines required for power supply. Currently, steel lattice masts are predominantly used for this purpose, which absorb the forces and bending moments acting on the masts and ensure a firm anchorage in the ground. The masts are usually constructed as flat steel or lattice masts. The masts have a conical shape that tapers away from the top.

[0003] Overhead lines consist of wires arranged at a largely constant height above the rails and interacting with pantographs on the vehicles' railcars. To ensure a smooth power supply, the overhead lines must remain permanently in their predetermined positions. In addition to regular inspections of the overhead lines themselves, the position of the masts must also be checked. Regular inspections of the rail lines and track networks are also required.

[0004] To perform these checks, Deutsche Bahn AG uses so-called track marking bolts. These consist of a cylindrical section with an external stop. On the side opposite the cylindrical section, the track marking bolts are provided with a thread that secures the bolt (see, for example, the track marking bolt with M8 external thread from GOECKE GmbH & Co. KG, Order No. 103-GVB8).

[0005] The track marking bolts are attached to the masts in a horizontal orientation. For this purpose, it is common practice to drill a hole into the mast through which the bolt is inserted and screwed in. While this results in a reliable attachment, it has the disadvantage that drilling the holes damages the corrosion protection of the respective mast, which negatively impacts the service life of the masts.

[0006] To avoid this disadvantage, DE 20 2024 002 189 U1 discloses a bolt mounting adapter that enables the installation of track marking bolts on masts without drilling a hole. The adapter consists of a U-shaped body, in the legs of which threaded holes are provided for the passage of screws, with which the adapter is clamped to the respective mast. Furthermore, one leg has at least one bore, which serves to accommodate a track marking bolt. In addition, a further bore is provided in the base of the adapter, which connects the two legs and also serves to accommodate a track marking bolt. In this way, a track marking bolt can be positioned in various installation positions on the respective mast.

[0007] However, the familiar bolt mounting adapter has the disadvantage that it cannot compensate for the tapered shape of the respective mast. As a result, horizontal alignment of a track marking bolt using the familiar adapter is only possible with considerable effort.

[0008] The invention aims to remedy this situation. The invention is based on the object of creating a device for attaching track marking bolts to masts that eliminates the need to drill a hole in the mast and easily allows for horizontal alignment of the respective track marking bolt. According to the invention, this object is achieved with the features of claim 1.

[0009] The invention provides a device for attaching track marking bolts to masts that eliminates the need to drill a hole in the mast and allows for easy horizontal alignment of the respective track marking bolt. The clamping device allows the device to be attached to a mast without damaging the corrosion layer of the mast. The means provided on the base for fastening to the clamping device create a detachable connection between the base and the clamping device, which simultaneously enables horizontal adjustment or alignment of the respective track marking bolt and also compensates for the conical shape of the respective mast.

[0010] In a further development of the invention, the means are formed by a bracket having a hole for receiving a fastening screw. This design allows the base with the track marking bolt to be pivoted around the longitudinal center line of the fastening screw by slightly loosening the fastening screw, thus easily aligning the track marking bolt to the desired position.

[0011] The boom is advantageously detached from the base. This allows the boom to be manufactured using a punching and bending process, saving material. This manufacturing method reduces costs and production time.

[0012] In one embodiment of the invention, the hole is designed as an elongated hole. This elongated hole further simplifies the alignment of the track marking bolt.

[0013] In another embodiment of the invention, two clamping devices are provided that interact with the first boom and a second boom at the base. This increases the stability of the attachment of the device to the respective mast.

[0014] Further developments and refinements of the invention are specified in the remaining subclaims. An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawings and described in detail below. They show: Fig. 1 the rear view of a device for attaching track marking bolts to masts in assembled state; Fig. 2 the side view of the Fig. 1 illustrated device; Fig. 3 the three-dimensional representation of the Fig. 1 illustrated device; Fig. 4 the three-dimensional representation of the device in unassembled state without measuring plate.

[0015] The device chosen as an embodiment for attaching a track marking bolt 1 is shown in the Fig. 1 to 3 are shown mounted on a mast 2. The mast 2 is only partially shown in the figures. The device comprises a base 3, which in the exemplary embodiment is designed in the manner of a support plate. The base 3 has a bore through which the track marking bolt 1 passes.

[0016] In the illustrated embodiment, the device is provided with two clamping devices 4. In a modification of the illustrated embodiment, it is also possible to provide only one clamping device 4. The clamping devices 4 are each designed in the manner of a beam clamp. They consist of a U-shaped base body 41, the two legs of which are positioned on either side of the mast 2. The leg facing away from the base 3 has a threaded hole. In the assembled state, the threaded hole accommodates a clamping screw 42. A lock nut 45 is screwed onto the clamping screw 42 in the assembled state.

[0017] The part connecting the legs of the base body 41 is provided with a substantially rectangular recess 43. Adjacent to the recess 43 is a threaded hole (not shown), which serves to screw in a fastening screw 44, 44'. By tightening the clamping screw 42, the clamping device 4 can be clamped between the threaded sleeve and the clamping screw. The clamping device 4 is thus held clamped to the mast 2. The lock nuts 45 counteract any loosening of the clamping screws 44, 44' due to vibrations.

[0018] The base 3 has means 5 for attachment to the clamping device 4. In the exemplary embodiment, the means 5 are formed by a first arm 51 and a second arm 51'. The arms 51, 51' are L-shaped. At their end facing away from the base 3, they each have a hole that receives the fastening screw 44, 44'. On the second arm 51', which is the lower arm in the exemplary embodiment, the hole is designed as an elongated hole 52, which guides the fastening screw 44'. In a modification of the exemplary embodiment, the elongated hole can also be formed in the upper arm.

[0019] In the exemplary embodiment, the outriggers 51, 51' are welded to the base 3. In a modification of the exemplary embodiment, the outriggers 51, 51' can be glued to the base 3. Furthermore, it is possible to remove the outriggers 51, 51' from the base 3 and bend them during a punching and bending process.

[0020] In the exemplary embodiment, an optional measuring plate 6 is mounted on the base 3. The measuring plate 6 has an L-shaped cross-section. This forms a vertical section 61 and a horizontal section 62. In the center of the vertical section 61, the measuring plate 6 is provided with a hole through which the track marking bolt 1 passes. The measuring plate 6 is provided with a multi-colored marking on its side facing away from the mast 2 (viewing side), which enables digital recording.

[0021] Before mounting the device according to the invention on a mast, both the clamping devices 4 and the means 5 for fastening the base 3 to the clamping devices 4 are mounted on the base 3. When using the device according to the invention, the track marking bolt 1 is first guided through the hole in the base 3 and screwed to the base 3. Then, in the device design according to the exemplary embodiment, the measuring plate 6 is glued to the base 3. This can be done using separate adhesives or double-sided adhesive tape.

[0022] The device is then brought up to the respective mast 2. The clamping devices are positioned in sections around the mast 2 at the desired height such that the base bodies 41 rest laterally against the mast 2. The base 3 with the measuring plate 6 is then moved toward the mast 2 until the threaded sleeves come into contact with the mast 2. The clamping screws 42 are then screwed into the base bodies 41 until they also come into contact with the mast 2. The device is thus held clamped between the clamping screws 42 and the threaded sleeves screwed onto the fastening screws 44.

[0023] In this clamped position, the alignment or adjustment of the track marking bolt 1 and the measuring plate 6 then takes place. To do this, the fastening screw 44' passing through the elongated hole 52 of the boom 51' is slightly loosened, allowing the boom 51' to move relative to the associated clamping device 4. The movement takes place as a pivoting movement, the axis of rotation of which is formed by the longitudinal center line of the fastening screw 44 on the first boom 51. By applying a spirit level, the base 3 with the measuring plate 6 can be aligned in the exact vertical position. This simultaneously compensates for the angle due to the conicity of the mast 2.

[0024] When using a device according to the invention with only one clamping device 4, the alignment or adjustment of the track marking bolt 1 and the measuring plate 6 is carried out by slightly loosening only one fastening screw 44, so that a pivoting movement of the track marking bolt 1, the base 3, and the measuring plate 6 occurs around the longitudinal center line of the fastening screw 44 on the single arm 51. In this case, too, the alignment can be carried out using a spirit level.

[0025] The invention enables both a precise horizontal alignment of the track marking bolt 1 and a vertical alignment of the base 3. At the same time, no damage to the mast 2 occurs, thus preserving the corrosion protection. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
