Abstract
Description
Field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a protein-peptide carrier particle structure and, more particularly, to a protein-peptide carrier particle structure in natural whole food form revealing an innovative design that can be used to improve the regulation of cardiac balance. State of the art
[0002] Cardiovascular diseases are the second leading cause of death worldwide, affecting many people annually. In 2020, heart disease ranked second among the top ten causes of death in Taiwan, just behind cancer. However, when diseases closely related to cardiovascular diseases, such as cerebrovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, nephritis, and kidney disease, are included in the cardiovascular disease category, the total number of deaths from cardiovascular diseases is 54,391, exceeding the number of deaths from cancer (51,161), making cardiovascular diseases the leading cause of death worldwide. More than three-quarters of these deaths are due to coronary heart disease (CHD) and stroke.Risk factors for cardiovascular disease include tobacco use, obesity, physical inactivity, hypercholesterolemia, arterial hypertension, and inadequately controlled diabetes mellitus. There are various forms of heart disease, including coronary heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, and congenital heart defects. Coronary heart disease is the most common cause of death among these.
[0003] Typical symptoms of cardiovascular disease include chest pain, dyspnea (shortness of breath), palpitations (rapid heartbeat), dizziness, and syncope (fainting spells). These symptoms not only impair the quality of life of those affected, but can also be signs of more serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack or angina pectoris. For example, palpitations and chest pain can indicate coronary artery disease, while dyspnea and ankle edema can indicate heart failure.
[0004] Nutrition is the foundation of health. Food is the source of nutrients. A balanced diet is the most important principle for maintaining health. Such a diet must provide sufficient calories and essential nutrients daily to maintain bodily functions and prevent deficiencies and associated diseases.
[0005] However, nutrients generally suffer from the same deficiencies as many natural substances, such as low acid stability, limited storage life, and high susceptibility to degradation. Gastric and pancreatic juices, among others, are involved in the human digestive system. Due to the presence of gastric acid, many nutrients are destroyed during passage through the digestive tract, thereby losing their effectiveness, which severely limits their absorption rate in the body. Therefore, improvements and addressing the aforementioned deficiencies are necessary. Object of the invention
[0006] The main objective of the present invention is to provide a protein-peptide carrier particle structure in natural, whole-food form that can be used to improve the regulation of cardiac balance. The technical problem to be solved is how to develop a novel, more optimal, and more practical protein-peptide carrier particle structure.
[0007] The technical features of the protein-peptide carrier particle structure according to the invention in natural, whole-food form, which can be used to improve the regulation of cardiac balance and address this problem, are described below. The protein-peptide carrier particle structure comprises the following: a multi-nutrient core consisting of a whole-food composite structure made from carrots and other natural plant sources, containing β-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, nicotinamide, vitamin B complex, choline, biotin, iron, magnesium, pantothenic acid, inositol, selenium, zinc, iodine, and chromium in association with protein-peptide carriers; and a protective shell that encloses the multi-nutrient core to prevent the external environment from affecting the activity of the multi-nutrient core, thus improving the storage stability of the protein-peptide carrier particle structure and its absorption rate by the human body.
[0008] Compared with the conventional technology, the present invention, through the innovative and unique design, can provide a protein-peptide carrier particle structure in natural whole food form, which can be used to improve the regulation of cardiac balance, effectively maintaining the elasticity and patency of blood vessels, protecting and strengthening the vascular system, and rapidly promoting the metabolism of fats and cholesterol, thereby significantly reducing the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction and arteriosclerosis and supporting the healthy function of the heart. In addition, the protective shell acting as a coating can significantly extend the shelf life and maintain the activity by avoiding damage caused by the external environment, so as to achieve the industrial applicability of maintaining the activity and functionality of the multi-nutrient core and increasing the absorption rate and product efficacy. Brief description of the drawings Fig. 1 shows a perspective sectional view according to the present invention; Fig. Figure 2 shows a plan sectional view according to the present invention; Fig. 3 shows a plan sectional view of another embodiment according to the present invention. Detailed description of the implementation examples
[0009] It is based on the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, which show a preferred embodiment of the protein-peptide carrier particle structure according to the invention in natural, whole-food form, which can be used to improve the regulation of cardiac balance. The following description only illustrates embodiments of the invention and is not to be understood as limiting the claims.
[0010] The protein-peptide carrier 100 comprises: a multi-nutrient core 10 consisting of a whole-food composite structure from carrots and other natural plant sources, containing β-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, nicotinamide, vitamin B complex, choline, biotin, iron, magnesium, pantothenic acid, inositol, selenium, zinc, iodine, and chromium in association with protein-peptide carriers; and a protective shell 20 encasing the multi-nutrient core 10 to prevent the external environment from affecting the activity of the multi-nutrient core, thus improving the storage stability of the protein-peptide carrier 100 and its absorption rate by the human body.
[0011] Based on the above, the beneficial effects and functions of each component of Multi-Nutrient Core 10 are described below: β-Carotene: It is a powerful antioxidant that can effectively prevent the oxidation of low-density lipoproteins (LDL). Folic acid: It is involved in amino acid metabolism, hemoglobin synthesis, and methylation processes (related to the synthesis of adrenaline, choline, creatine, etc.). Folic acid deficiency can lead to neural tube defects or malformations in newborns, as well as cardiovascular disease and cancer. Vitamin C: It is essential for the growth, development, and repair of body tissue and is involved in collagen formation, iron absorption, immune function, the health of cartilage, bones, and teeth, and wound healing. Together with β-carotene and vitamin E, it acts as an antioxidant, neutralizes free radicals, protects DNA, and slows the progression of aging, cancer, heart disease, and arthritis. Vitamin E: It is a fat-soluble vitamin and one of the most important antioxidants and inhibits platelet aggregation and their adhesion to vascular walls. Nicotinamide: It functions in the body as a coenzyme (NAD+ and NADH), is involved in redox reactions, electron transport, and the synthesis of fatty acids and steroids, is important for energy balance, digestion, skin and nerve health, has anti-inflammatory properties, and contributes to the protection of cardiovascular health. Vitamin B1: It supports the conversion of starch and carbohydrates into usable energy, ensures the conduction function of peripheral nerves, promotes protein and fat metabolism, influences the digestive tract, nervous system, cardiovascular system, brain function, mental state, and muscle function, and is important for maintaining cardiac and nerve function and the coordination of muscle tissue. Therefore, vitamin B1 supplementation has a beneficial effect in the prevention and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Vitamin B2: It acts as a coenzyme, is involved in energy metabolism, electron transport and redox reactions, supports cellular antioxidant mechanisms, normal blood cell proliferation, skin health and tissue repair, contributes to the reduction of oxidative damage, prevents lipid peroxidation and prevents cardiovascular diseases such as arteriosclerosis. Vitamin B6: Its main function is to promote brain and nerve function, control neuronal impulses, support protein metabolism, promote antibody and red blood cell production, and reduce the risk of vascular occlusions and heart disease. Vitamin B12: It improves the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins by increasing folic acid utilization and is important for the normal function of the central nervous system, nerve tissue repair, red blood cell production, and for reducing the risk of vascular occlusions and heart disease. Choline: It is a structural component of the body and is primarily used for the synthesis of cell membrane phospholipids, such as cholinephospholipids and sphingolipids, to maintain the integrity of cell membranes. Choline is a precursor to the important neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is involved in muscle control and brain memory in the human body. Biotin: It is one of the B vitamins, is essential for fatty acid synthesis, gluconeogenesis and amino acid degradation and plays an important role in energy production. Iron: It supports the oxygen supply of the entire body, is a component of myoglobin (muscle protein) and is essential for oxygen uptake by the muscles and is associated with energy production and DNA synthesis. Magnesium: It can prevent heart disease and strokes, improves angina pectoris, relieves coronary spasms, and prevents arteriosclerosis. Pantothenic acid: It is present as coenzyme A (CoA) in living cells and is involved in many chemical reactions, such as the formation of red blood cells, production of stress-related sex hormones, maintenance of digestive health, processing of other vitamins (e.g. vitamin B2) and cholesterol synthesis. Inositol: It is a lipophilic, water-soluble substance, also known as vitamin B8. Inositol plays a role in cellular signaling and nutrient supply. Together with choline, it can synthesize lecithin in vivo and is responsible for fat and cholesterol metabolism. Almost all living organisms contain free or bound inositol. Free inositol is found primarily in muscles, heart, lungs, and liver and is a component of phospholipids. Selenium: It is a component of antioxidant enzymes in the body, prevents the formation of peroxides in lipids, reduces free radical damage, maintains the normal structure and function of the cardiovascular system, and can prevent cardiovascular diseases. Zinc: It is the second most abundant trace element in the human body after iron, is present in various cells, activates over 300 important enzymes in the body and has excellent antioxidant properties. Iodine: It is the main component of thyroid hormones, which regulate the oxidation rate within cells. It thus influences physical and mental development, the function of nerve and muscle tissue, and the metabolism of all nutrients. Chromium: It is essential for maintaining normal physiological functions in the human body. It cannot be synthesized by the body itself and must be obtained through natural foods or supplements. Chromium increases cellular insulin sensitivity, supports blood sugar regulation, and inhibits the synthesis of cholesterol and fatty acids in the body, thereby helping to lower triglycerides, cholesterol, and fatty acids in the blood and maintain body shape.
[0012] As mentioned above, the multi-nutrient core 11 can be protected from external environmental influences and damage by the protective shell 12, thereby maintaining its functionality and improving its absorption rate. Furthermore, in the present invention, the multi-nutrient core 11 is absorbed by the human body through the Nutrition Delivery System (NDS) mechanism. The Nutrition Delivery System (NDS) is the mechanism by which nutrients are delivered to cells in the body. When cells need nutrients, each specific protein-peptide carrier delivers its own nutrients in a natural, whole-food form to the target cells. After the protein-peptide carrier identifies the delivered nutrients, the nutrients are delivered to the cells. This mechanism affects the actual efficiency of the human body's absorption and utilization of the nutrients in a natural, whole-food form.
[0013] It will be Fig. 3, which shows another embodiment of the present invention. The main difference from the preferred embodiment is that an acid-resistant membrane layer 30 is further provided between the multi-nutrient core 10 and the protective shell 20 to prevent the multi-nutrient core 10 from being destroyed by the gastric acid present in the human digestive tract, thereby further improving the absorption rate of the multi-nutrient core 10 in the human body. In practice, the acid-resistant membrane layer 30 is made of one of the following materials or a combination thereof: pectin, trehalose, polyunsaturated fatty acid, or amino acid.
[0014] The protective shell 20 consists of one of the following proteins or a combination thereof: pea protein, corn protein, yeast protein or potato protein.
[0015] Furthermore, the present invention can be manufactured in various dosage forms, e.g., as capsules, powder sachets, tablets, or packaged in cans, to meet different usage needs and occasions. It can be administered either directly orally or after dissolving in a liquid, for consumption, but the present invention is not subject to any limitations in this regard.
[0016] The protein-peptide carrier particle structure can be taken directly orally or drunk after dissolving in a liquid. Beneficial effects:
[0017] The present invention provides a protein-peptide carrier particle structure in natural, whole-food form that can be used to improve the regulation of cardiac balance. Its beneficial effects are described below: 1. The present invention can effectively maintain the elasticity and patency of blood vessels, dilate blood vessels, prevent blood clotting, and protect vascular endothelial cells. The present invention rapidly promotes lipid and cholesterol metabolism, inhibits cholesterol formation, helps lower blood lipids and reduce blood viscosity, reduces the formation of blood clots, and significantly reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, arteriosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases, thereby keeping the heart healthy.
[0018] In addition, the protective shell acting as a coating can significantly extend the shelf life and maintain the activity by avoiding damage caused by the external environment, so as to achieve the industrial applicability of maintaining the activity and functionality of the multi-nutrient core and increasing the absorption rate and product efficacy.
[0019] The present invention thus provides a protein-peptide carrier particle structure in natural whole food form that can be used to improve the regulation of cardiac balance, comprising: a multi-nutrient core consisting of a composite structure in whole food form from carrots and other natural plant sources and containing β-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, nicotinamide, vitamin B complex, choline, biotin, iron, magnesium, pantothenic acid, inositol, selenium, zinc, iodine, and chromium in association with protein-peptide carriers; and a protective shell encasing the multi-nutrient core to prevent the external environment from affecting the activity of the multi-nutrient core, thus improving the storage stability of the protein-peptide carrier particle structure and its absorption rate by the human body.
