Description
[0001] The invention relates to a table according to the preamble of claim 1, which comprises at least one tabletop and a tabletop extension.
[0002] To increase the usable surface area of a table when needed, some tables feature a tabletop extension. Such an extension should allow for the simplest and most intuitive handling of its moving parts. Especially in multi-part designs, the individual extension pieces should therefore have the most precise guides possible to effectively prevent improper use of the extension, which could lead to damage or even injury from pinching.
[0003] DE 20 2023 101 221 U1 discloses a table comprising at least one tabletop and a tabletop extension with a first extension part and a second extension part. Due to their relative mobility with respect to each other and to the tabletop, the tabletop extension can be moved from a storage position to a working position that increases the table surface area of the tabletop and back again.
