Description

[0001] Circulation pumps for marine aquariums typically have a pumping mechanism attached to a pump housing or a bracket. The pumping mechanism can be fixed or rotatable around an axis.

[0002] These types of flow pumps are used to create directed water currents in aquariums. However, with current designs, precisely directing the flow forwards and backwards is only possible to a limited extent. A combination of rotational and tilting motions is not possible.

[0003] The invention is based on the problem of creating a rotary and tilting unit for a flow pump, with which a targeted direction of the flow is possible both by rotating and by tilting forwards and backwards.

[0004] This problem is solved by the features listed in the patent claim.

[0005] The invention makes it possible to flexibly and precisely adjust the flow direction in the aquarium without having to reposition the pump itself.

[0006] An embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to the accompanying drawings. The drawings show a rotary and tilting unit for a flow pump.

[0007] The rotary and tilting unit comprises a rotatable connection and a tilting device arranged thereon. Reference symbol list 1 pipe 2 ball bearings / mount 3 Base plate 4 pump holders
