Abstract

Vehicle-independent, modular collision warning system with self-sufficient solar power supply for non-destructive retrofitting to vehicle front aprons, consisting of a sensor unit (20), a power supply unit (50) and a vehicle-internal signal unit (90), characterized in that the system is designed as a completely decoupled “plug-and-play” architecture, in which the sensor unit (20) is designed as an adhesive or clamp module that can be adapted non-destructively to the underside of the vehicle front apron (10), which communicates wirelessly via a signal path (70) and in real time with the signal unit (90) located in the vehicle interior (80).
