Abstract

Marking for improving the visibility of permanently installed eyelet elements, in particular of anchor eyes fixed to building roofs for securing fall protection systems, wherein the marking comprises a marking body (1) that can be detachably connected to an eyelet section (O) of the eyelet element and is colored in a signal color;10) has a slot-shaped receptacle (3) in which the eyelet section (O) can be received with substantially precise fit and which has an insertion opening (2) for inserting the eyelet section (O), wherein the slot-shaped receptacle (3) is bounded by two spring-elastically connected jaw parts (5, 6) which, when the eyelet section (O) is inserted into the slot-shaped receptacle (3) through the insertion opening (2), can be displaced away from each other against a restoring force, and, when the eyelet section (O) is completely inserted into the slot-shaped receptacle (3), are driven by the restoring force back into their initial position and hold the eyelet section (O) in the slot-shaped receptacle (3).
