Abstract
A system for digital twin-based fraud simulation and explainable security analysis in cloud-based banking computing infrastructures, comprising a digital twin layer coupled with a real banking computing infrastructure, wherein the digital twin layer generates a synchronized virtual state object for each of several technical banking components, which maps at least transaction states, authentication states, device access states, account relationship states, payment path states, and cloud resource states, characterized in that the system has a shielded fraud simulation layer that generates several artificially created fraud propagation paths within the digital twin layer without altering the real banking computing infrastructure, and that an explainable security analysis layer links each risk assessment with a specific state change of a virtual state object.
