Frame for a window or door with a profile element (10) and with a glazing bead (11), wherein the profile element (10) has an outer profile (12) which, in the installed state of the window or door in a building, extends from a weather side (W) to a room side (R) and which runs horizontally in some areas along a glass insertion side for contact with a glazing element (14), wherein the glazing bead (11) has a glazing bead profile (15) which is held on the room side (R) by a glazing bead profile projection (16) in a groove (17) of the outer profile (12), such that, when the glazing element (14) is inserted, the outer profile (12) together with the glazing element (14) and the glazing bead profile (15) forms a chamber (19) on the room side (R), characterized in that a sealing lip (20) is attached to the glazing bead profile (15) which is located in the chamber (19) seals between the outer profile (12) and the glazing bead profile (15).
