Abstract

A headset assembly with a limiting function, comprising: a head tube that is tubular in shape and whose centerline defines an axial direction, wherein the axial direction extends in an upward and downward direction and the head tube has a shell section on one side along the axial direction;a bearing shell forming an annular body and inserted into the shell section, wherein a first inclined contact surface and a first extension surface connected to it are formed on the inner circumferential wall of the bearing shell along the axial direction in an upper and a lower position, a projection projects radially towards the axial direction on a side of the inner circumferential wall of the first extension surface facing away from the first inclined contact surface, the inner diameter of the first extension surface of the bearing shell forming a first width and the first width corresponding to the inner diameter of the first extension surface perpendicular to the axial direction;a bearing comprising an inner ring and an outer ring rotatably arranged about the inner ring, wherein a second inclined contact surface and a second extension surface connected thereto are formed on the outer wall of the outer ring along the axial direction in an upper and a lower position, the bearing is located in the bearing shell and is arranged coaxially with the steering head tube and the bearing shell, the second inclined contact surface abuts the first inclined contact surface, the upper end of the projection abuts the corresponding side of the lower edge of the outer ring and a gap is formed between the second extension surface and the first extension surface, in a cross-section that includes the axial direction, the straight-line distance between the two endpoints of the cross-section of the second extension surface forms a second width and the first width is greater than the second width;and a stop element comprising an annular base body, a limiting chamber and a radial outer flange, wherein the stop element is arranged in the bearing shell and is located on the side of the bearing facing away from the bearing shell along the axial direction, the upper edge of the annular base body rests against the lower edge of the inner ring for positioning, the limiting chamber is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the annular base body and extends along its circumferential direction, a stop surface is formed on each of the two circumferential sides of the limiting chamber, the projection extends radially into the limiting chamber and is brought to a stop by the respective stop surfaces, and the radial outer flange extends radially outwards from the annular base body.
