Abstract

Coupling (10) for a model railway vehicle (1), for coupling with a counter-coupling element (20), comprising: - a coupling bracket (30); - a coupling hook (40); and - an actuating device (50) which is coupled to the coupling bracket (30) and the coupling hook (40) in such a way that the coupling bracket (30) and the coupling hook (40) are movable relative to each other between an open position and a closed position of the coupling (10), wherein the coupling bracket (30) and the coupling hook (40) are arranged relative to each other in the open position in such a way that the counter-coupling element (20) can be received into a holding position, and wherein the coupling bracket (30) and the coupling hook (40) are arranged relative to each other in the closed position in such a way that the counter-coupling element (20) can be held in the holding position.
