Abstract
A method for treating fabrics with a washing liquid formed by diluting a liquid detergent composition in water, and bringing said fabrics into contact with said washing liquid for a period of 10 to 25 minutes before rinsing, wherein said detergent composition comprises at least one surfactant and one fragrance, wherein said fragrance comprises a fragrance component selected from phenolic fragrances, beta-ionone and mixtures thereof, wherein the phenolic fragrance is selected from hexyl salicylate, coumarin and mixtures thereof.
