Description
[0001] The invention relates to a wall fastening for a shower rail of a shower system according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] Such a shower rail is typically mounted vertically on an installation wall using two wall mounting brackets, spaced a certain horizontal distance from the installation wall in the depth direction. For attachment to the respective bracket, the shower rail may have a hole or other connection contour. Using the connection contour, the shower rail can be attached to the respective bracket in a predefined longitudinal position.
[0003] Such a generic wall mounting bracket can be designed in at least two parts with a wall bracket that can be mounted on the installation wall and with a bracket base body to which the shower rail can be connected.
[0004] The installation wall may have wall projections, such as those that occur at a transition from a tiled to an untiled wall area. For example, a lower wall mounting bracket can be mounted on the tiled wall section, while the upper wall mounting bracket is installed on the tile-free wall area. The wall offset between the tiled and untiled wall area can be compensated for using special shims. These can be placed under the respective wall bracket of the wall mounting bracket. Problems arise when multiple shims are used or stacked. In this case, the length of the supplied standard screws for screwing to the installation wall may no longer be sufficient. This could result in failure under load. If an end customer only notices the disruptive wall offset during installation attempt, they are forced to reorder the shims or have the shims replaced.to obtain them. This, in turn, increases the installation effort for the installer or end customer.
[0005] The document US 2019 / 0211537 A discloses a shower rod system with a wall attachment, wherein the wall attachment is connected to the shower rod by means of a T-shaped connector.
[0006] The document CN 205804510 U discloses a wall mounting which is connected to a multi-part shower rail by means of a T-shaped sleeve piece.
[0007] DE 26 01 059 B discloses, as the closest prior art, a shower rail with a longitudinally adjustable wall spacer, wherein a clamping screw is provided for locking the wall spacer.
[0008] The object of the invention is to provide a wall mounting for a shower rail, which enables the shower rail to be attached to the installation wall in the correct position in a structurally simple and space-saving manner.
[0009] The object is solved by the features of claim 1. Preferred developments of the invention are disclosed in the subclaims.
[0010] According to claim 1, the wall-mounting bracket has a depth-locking device by means of which the bracket base and the wall bracket can be telescopically adjusted relative to each other in the depth direction. This allows a suitable distance between the shower rail and the installation wall to be set and, if necessary, any wall offset to be compensated for.
[0011] In a technical implementation, the console base body is a hollow profile part with a particularly rectangular cross-section. The hollow profile part forms a telescopic guide in which the wall bracket is guided, preferably with minimal play in the depth direction. The hollow profile part can be open on its end face facing the wall. Through the open end face, the wall bracket can be telescopically adjustable and project into an installation space defined by the hollow profile part. To ensure smooth guidance, the wall bracket can be in sliding contact with the inner sides of the hollow profile part.
[0012] The wall bracket is typically secured to the installation wall using a screw. In this case, the wall bracket can have a base part, preferably made of solid material, which can be clamped between the screw head of the fastening screw and the installation wall. At least one guide rail, which can be part of the aforementioned telescopic guide, protrudes from the wall bracket base part in the depth direction. The guide rail is guided in a guide channel of the console base body. The guide channel, in turn, can be formed in the installation space of the console base body. In one technical implementation, the guide channel can be delimited in a shower vertical direction by the upper narrow side wall and a material web in the installation space of the console base body.
[0013] In a specific design variant, the wall mounting bracket can have a locking element that can be adjusted between an unlocked and a locked position. In the unlocked position, the bracket base body and the wall bracket are telescopically adjustable relative to each other. In contrast, in the locked position, the bracket base body and the wall bracket are fixed in position relative to each other in the depth direction.
[0014] In a simple embodiment, the locking element can be a locking screw. This can be brought into threaded engagement with an internal thread formed on the console base body. The locking screw can interact with a wall bracket counter-contour formed on the guide rail.
[0015] Against this background, the locking screw can be adjusted to the locking position with a single screwing action, in which the locking screw is clamped to the wall bracket's counter-contour. It is preferred if recesses are arranged in the wall bracket's counter-contour into which the locking screw can engage in a form-fitting manner in the locking position. In a specific design variant, the aforementioned wall bracket guide rail can be a rack with profile teeth and interposed tooth gaps that form the aforementioned recesses.
[0016] To ensure sufficient component stability, the invention provides for the bracket base body, designed as a rectangular hollow profile, to have an additional material web that connects the two opposing flat side walls. The material web, together with an upper / lower narrow side wall of the bracket base body, defines the guide channel.
[0017] In this case, the locking screw can be arranged in the narrow side wall, whereby in the locking position the wall bracket guide bar can be supported on the inner material web.
[0018] To further simplify assembly, it is preferred if the wall bracket has a total of two guide rails. When assembled, a first guide rail can protrude into the guide channel of the console base, while the second guide rail protrudes into the interior mounting space of the console base without performing any function. In this case, the wall bracket can be inserted into the console base upside down, i.e., rotated 180°.
[0019] As an alternative to the above design variant, the depth locking device can also have a self-locking adjusting screw instead of a locking screw. When turned, this allows the wall bracket and the console base to be telescopically adjustable in the depth direction relative to each other. The adjusting screw can be arranged with its screw head in a fixed position in the depth direction within the mounting space of the console base. This protects the adjusting screw from external mechanical influences and is concealed from view. The adjusting screw can be threaded into an internal thread of the wall bracket with its screw shaft. When turned, the adjusting screw is either screwed into or unscrewed from the wall bracket's internal thread, with a telescopic, stepless adjustment of the wall bracket relative to the console base.
[0020] To ensure proper adjustment screw guidance, it is preferable for the adjustment screw to be positioned with its screw head in the guide channel of the console base body. For a depth-fixed adjustment screw holder, it is preferable for a depth stop to be arranged on either side of the screw head. The two depth stops prevent displacement of the screw head in the depth direction. To simplify assembly / disassembly of the wall mounting console, it is preferable for at least one of the depth stops to be implemented as a removable locking screw. The removable locking screw can preferably be screwed into the narrow side wall of the console base body.
[0021] As mentioned above, the adjusting screw is screwed in or out of the internal thread of the wall bracket by turning it. In one design variant, the adjusting screw can only be turned in a disassembly state (not shown), in which the wall bracket is completely removed from the console base. To separate the wall bracket from the console base in this way, the locking screw, which acts as a depth stop, must be loosened. The wall bracket and the console base can then be separated from each other, allowing tool access to the hexagon socket profile of the adjusting screw.
[0022] Two embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the attached figures.
[0023] They show: Figure 1 shows a side sectional view of a shower rail attached to an installation wall; Figures 2 and 3 each show a wall mounting bracket in a sectional view and in a perspective overall view; Figures 4 to 6 each show the components of the wall mounting bracket in isolation; Figure 7 shows a wall mounting bracket according to the second embodiment in a view corresponding to Figure 2 ; and Figures 8 to 10 each show the components of the Figure 7 shown wall mounting bracket.
[0024] In the Figure 1 A shower bar 3 of a shower system (not shown) is shown, which is attached to an installation wall 1. The shower bar 3 extends in a vertical direction z and is attached to the installation wall 1 via two wall mounting brackets 5. In the installation position according to Figure 1The installation wall 1 has a lower wall area 1a and an upper wall area 1b, which merge into one another in a stepped manner and are offset from one another by a wall offset w in the depth direction x. The wall offset w can be compensated for by the depth compensation devices 21 integrated into the two wall mounting brackets 5.
[0025] To form the depth compensation device 21, each wall mounting bracket 5 is constructed in two parts, namely with a wall bracket 7 mounted on the installation wall 1 and a bracket base body 9. The wall bracket 7 can be screwed into a drilled hole in the installation wall 1 using a fastening screw 13 with dowel 15. In addition, the wall bracket 7 is inserted into the bracket base body 9 in a telescopically adjustable manner in the depth direction x. Figure 1The upper wall bracket 7 projects beyond the bracket base body 9 by a projection Δx. The projection Δx is identical to the wall offset w, while the lower wall bracket 7 is inserted flush into the lower bracket base body 9 and does not protrude in the depth direction x. The projection Δx of the upper wall mounting bracket 5 thus compensates for the wall offset w of the installation wall 1.
[0026] In the figures, the console base body 9 is designed as a hollow profile part with a rectangular cross-section. The hollow profile part forms a telescopic guide in which the wall bracket 7 is guided telescopically adjustable with minimal play in the depth direction x. The console base body 9, designed as a hollow profile part, has upper and lower narrow side walls 23, 25, which are connected to one another via flat side walls 27. The console base body 9 defines an inner mounting space 28 in which the above-mentioned depth locking device 21 is arranged.
[0027] According to the Figure 2 or 5 The wall bracket 7 has a base part 29 made essentially of solid material, through which the fastening screw 13 is guided. Two guide rails 31 protrude from the base part 29 in the depth direction x, which Figure 2 or 5 are realized as racks. In the Figure 2 or 5 The upper guide rail 31 of the base part 29 is adjustably guided in a guide channel 33 in the console base body 9. The guide channel 33 is limited in the vertical direction z at the top by the upper narrow side wall 23 and at the bottom by a material web 35, which extends between the two flat side walls 27 and stiffens the console base body 9. The approximately box-shaped console base body 9 is in the Figure 2It is designed to be open on its end face closest to the wall. The wall bracket 7 extends through the open end face of the console base body 9 into the inner mounting space 28 of the console base body 9.
[0028] According to the Figure 2 A threaded hole is formed on the upper narrow side wall 23, into which a locking screw 37 is screwed. The locking screw 37 acts as a locking element that fixes the wall bracket 7 and the console base body 9 in the depth direction x. In the Figure 2 the locking screw 37 is shown in a screwed-in locking position V. In the locking position V, the locking screw 37 is brought into positive connection with the rack 31 with its screw tip, whereby the rack 31 is stably supported with its lower side on the material web 35.
[0029] By unscrewing it, the locking screw 37 can be moved into its unlocking position E (not shown), in which the wall bracket 7 can be adjusted in the depth direction x relative to the console base body 9.
[0030] As from the Figure 2 or 4 As can be seen further, the console base body 9 has a connecting contour 39 on its end face remote from the wall for connecting the shower rail 3. A slotted hole 41 extending in the vertical direction z is formed in the connecting contour 39. The slotted hole 41 is penetrated by a fastening screw 46, which is Figure 2 in a detachable screw connection with the shower bar 3, namely with the interposition of an intermediate element 40 ( Figure 6 ). The intermediate element 40 covers in the assembled position ( Figure 2 ) an otherwise open, wall-remote front side of the guide channel 33.
[0031] In the Figure 7A second embodiment of the wall mounting bracket 5 is shown. Accordingly, the depth locking device 21 does not have a locking screw 37, but rather a self-locking adjusting screw 43 that is aligned in the depth direction x. The adjusting screw 43 is positioned with its screw head 45 in the guide channel 33, specifically positioned stationary in the depth direction x. For stationary positioning, a depth stop 47 and 49 are arranged on either side of the screw head 45. The depth stop 47 facing the wall is screwed into the lower narrow side wall 25 of the bracket base body 9 as a detachable locking screw, while the other depth stop 49 is made of the same material and is integrally formed on the bracket base body 9. The screw head 45 of the adjusting screw 43 has a hexagon socket profile.
[0032] The adjusting screw 43 is in the Figure 7in threaded engagement with an internal thread 51 of the wall bracket 7. By turning the self-locking adjusting screw 43, it is screwed in or out of the internal thread 51 of the wall bracket 7, which results in a stepless telescopic adjustment of the wall bracket 7 with respect to the console base body 9.
[0033] The rotary actuation of the adjusting screw 43 is in the Figure 7 only possible in a disassembly state (not shown), in which the wall bracket 7 is completely disassembled from the console base body 9. For this purpose, Figure 7 Loosen the locking screw 47, which acts as a depth stop. The wall bracket 7 and the console base body 9 can then be separated from each other, allowing tool access to the hexagon socket profile of the adjusting screw 43. List of reference symbols
