Description
TECHNICAL AREA
[0001] The present invention relates to a flushing water distributor according to the preamble of claim 1. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] In sanitary ware, particularly ceramic products, flush water distributors are used to improve the distribution of flushing water. For example, DE 33 15 926 discloses such a flush water distributor. Three flushing water streams are provided, two of which flow laterally into the toilet bowl, and one of which flows straight into the toilet bowl.
[0003] EP 3 453 805 also discloses a flushing water distributor, as do DE 20 2019 101650 U1 and WO 2016 / 184950 A1.
[0004] Toilet bowls without rims are becoming increasingly common. This necessitates optimal water distribution into the bowl. Conventional flushing water distributors have the disadvantage of not directing the water optimally into the bowl. This can lead to water splashing or overflowing. This effect is particularly problematic with rimless toilet bowls. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] Based on this prior art, the invention is based on the objective of providing a flush water distributor that overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. A particularly preferred objective is to provide a flush water distributor that can be installed in such a way that the flush water is optimally directed into the toilet bowl.
[0006] This problem is solved by a flushing water distributor according to claim 1. Accordingly, a flushing water distributor for a sanitary article comprises a pipe element with a flushing water channel extending along a central axis from an inlet opening to at least one outlet opening, wherein flushing water can be guided in a flow direction from the inlet opening to the at least one outlet opening and can be discharged from the at least one outlet opening to the sanitary article. The pipe element has a bearing section on its outer side with a bearing surface, via which the flushing water distributor can be mounted directly or indirectly in a bearing position of a receptacle for the sanitary article. The flushing water distributor can be inserted into the bearing position of the sanitary article and comes into contact with the bearing surface of the bearing position, thus being mounted in the receptacle. The bearing surface is designed in such a way that the flushing water distributor can be inserted into the bearing point aligned with its rotational position around the central axis.
[0007] This design of the mounting surface offers the advantage of preventing incorrect insertion of the flushing water distributor into its housing. This ensures that at least one outlet opening is optimally aligned with the interior of the sanitary ware. Consequently, the flushing water is directed optimally into the area of the sanitary ware being rinsed.
[0008] Furthermore, it has the advantage of preventing the rinse water distributor from twisting during use, for example due to force applied during a cleaning process.
[0009] The flush water distributor is aligned with respect to its rotational position around the central axis in such a way that at least one outlet opening is directed into the interior of the sanitary article.
[0010] In one embodiment, at least two or exactly two outlet openings are arranged. Here, the flushing water distributor is mounted in the housing such that, viewed in the installed position, the two outlet openings are at the same height and can thus deliver a symmetrical flow of water into the interior of the sanitary ware. Preferably, the water flow is such that the surface of the sanitary ware is substantially completely wetted.
[0011] In another embodiment, at least three or exactly three outlet openings are arranged. Here, the flushing water distributor is mounted in the housing such that two lateral outlet openings, viewed in the installed position, are at the same height and thus, viewed in the direction of flow, can deliver a symmetrical flow of water into the interior of the sanitary fixture. Preferably, the water flow is such that the surface of the sanitary fixture is substantially completely wetted. A third outlet opening is located between the two lateral outlet openings and provides a jet of water towards the siphon, such that the siphon can be flushed out.
[0012] Preferably, the bearing surface is designed as a bearing surface that surrounds the central axis.
[0013] Regarding the two lateral outlet openings in both embodiments, one outlet opening is located to the right of the central axis and the other to the left of the central axis. Particularly preferably, the two outlet openings are positioned opposite each other with respect to the central axis, such that the rinsing water can be discharged onto two sides opposite each other with respect to the central axis.
[0014] The sanitary fixture is preferably a toilet bowl or a urinal. The sanitary fixture comprises an interior and a siphon. Furthermore, as described below, the sanitary fixture has a receptacle with a bearing point into which the flush water distributor can be inserted.
[0015] Furthermore, the bearing surface has a greater extent in the direction of a first axis extending perpendicularly through the central axis than in the direction of a second axis extending perpendicularly to the central axis and perpendicular to the first axis.
[0016] This offers the advantage that the alignment can be achieved simply by shaping the bearing surface. Therefore, no additional elements are required.
[0017] Preferably, the first axis extends vertically when viewed in the installed position, and the second axis extends horizontally when viewed in the installed position. A reversed arrangement is also possible.
[0018] Preferably, the extension in the direction of the first axis is at least 10% greater than in the direction of the second axis.
[0019] Preferably, the bearing surface, viewed in cross-section perpendicular to the central axis, is not circular or non-circular. Particularly preferably, the bearing surface, viewed in cross-section perpendicular to the central axis, is oval or elliptical. In these shapes, the bearing surface also includes flat areas.
[0020] Furthermore, the storage area has two spaced-apart flat surface areas, each of which is connected at its end by two semicircular surface areas.
[0021] Preferably, the bearing surface of the flushing water distributor is exposed within the mounting. This means that the bearing surface is not covered by any other elements and that it can be brought into direct contact with the mounting.
[0022] For the indirect mounting of the flushing water distributor, a seal, particularly one with multiple sealing lips circumferentially around the central axis, is placed between the bearing surface and the mounting. Here, the flushing water distributor is indirectly mounted in the mounting via the seal. The seal extends completely around the central axis.
[0023] The seal is preferably placed on the bearing surface before the flushing water distributor is mounted. The seal can be designed as a separate part from the flushing water distributor. Alternatively, the seal can also be integrally molded onto the bearing surface.
[0024] Preferably, the pipe element or flushing water channel has a circular cross-section at the inlet opening when viewed perpendicular to the central axis. This allows a flushing line pipe of a suitable diameter to be easily connected to the flushing water distributor.
[0025] Preferably, the pipe element or the flushing water channel is circular at the inlet opening such that a flushing pipe can project into the pipe element through the inlet opening. A seal is preferably arranged between the outside of the flushing pipe and the inside of the pipe element.
[0026] The flushing water channel extending between the inlet opening and the at least one inlet opening is bounded on the outside by a side wall, wherein the bearing surface is arranged at least partially spaced away from the side wall and / or wherein the bearing surface is at least partially part of the side wall.
[0027] It is particularly preferred that part of the storage area is spaced away from said side wall and part of the storage area is provided by the side wall.
[0028] The advantage of spacing the bearing surface away from the side wall is that the inner cross-section of the pipe element or the flushing water channel can be designed without being affected by the shape of the side wall.
[0029] Preferably, a guide wall is arranged in the flushing water channel in the direction of flow upstream of the outlet openings, which divides the flushing water channel into at least one right distribution section and one left distribution section, wherein the right distribution section leads to one of the outlet openings and the left distribution section leads to another of the outlet openings.
[0030] Preferably, the at least one guide wall further divides the flushing water channel into a middle distribution section, which middle distribution section lies between the two aforementioned distribution sections and leads to a further outlet opening.
[0031] Preferably, the additional outlet opening is directed downwards in the installed position and serves to flush out the siphon.
[0032] Preferably, the cross-section of the pipe element or the flushing water channel before the distribution section is essentially circular.
[0033] Preferably, the flush water distributor further comprises a fastening element with which the flush water distributor can be attached to the sanitary article.
[0034] Preferably, the fastening element has two bearing arms which project substantially transversely to the central axis from the pipe element and engage at a bearing point on the sanitary article.
[0035] A flushing water distributor arrangement comprises a flushing water distributor as described above and a flushing pipe, wherein the flushing pipe projects into the pipe element or the flushing water channel via the inlet opening, and wherein a seal is arranged between the pipe element and the flushing pipe.
[0036] A sanitary article, in particular a toilet bowl or a urinal, comprises a receptacle for a flush water distributor as described above or a flush water distributor arrangement as described above, wherein the receptacle has a bearing point for storing the flush water distributor above its bearing surface, wherein the bearing point is designed to be complementary or suitable for the bearing surface.
[0037] The term "complementary" means that the storage location and the storage surface are shaped appropriately so that the flushing water distributor can be stored directly or indirectly in the storage location or the receiving area.
[0038] Preferably, the receptacle further comprises a guide area which, viewed in the insertion direction of the flushing water distributor, is arranged in front of the bearing point, wherein the guide area is at least partially open on its circumference.
[0039] Preferably, the flushing water distributor and the flushing pipe are made of plastic.
[0040] Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EXECUTION FORMS
[0042] In the Figure 1A sanitary article 2 is shown with a flushing water distributor 1. The flushing water distributor 1 can be inserted into the sanitary article 2 and distributes the flushing water within the interior 26 of the sanitary article 2. The flushing water flows from the flushing water distributor 1 into the interior 26 and into the siphon area 27 of the sanitary article 2. The flushing water distributor 1 is supplied with flushing water via a flushing pipe 22.
[0043] In the Figure 2The flushing water distributor 1 is shown in a perspective view. The flushing water distributor 1 comprises a pipe element 3 extending along a central axis M. The pipe element 3 has a flushing water channel S extending from an inlet opening 4 to at least one outlet opening 5, 6, 7. Flushing water can flow in a direction F from the inlet opening 4 to the at least one outlet opening 5, 6, 7. The flushing water can then be discharged to the sanitary fitting 2 via the at least one outlet opening 5, 6, 7. In the embodiment shown, three outlet openings 5, 6, 7 are arranged. A central outlet opening 7 is located between two lateral outlet openings 5, 6. The central outlet opening 7 is directed into the siphon area 27, and the two lateral outlet openings 5, 6 are directed towards the walls of the interior space 26.
[0044] On its outer side, the pipe element 3 has a bearing section 8. The bearing section 8 comprises a bearing surface 9, via which the flushing water distributor 1 is supported directly or indirectly in a bearing point 24 of a receptacle of the sanitary article 2. The receptacle 10 is accessible from a rear wall 28 of the sanitary article 2. The flushing water distributor 1 can be inserted into the receptacle 10 from the rear wall 28.
[0045] The insertion of the flush water distributor is carried out in the Figures 3 and 4 shown in more detail. Figure 3 Figure 16 shows the sanitary article 2 from the rear. The receptacle 10 extends from the rear wall 28 into the interior 26. The receptacle 10 has a bearing point 24 for supporting the flush water distributor 1. Furthermore, the receptacle 16 includes a guide area 25, which, viewed in the insertion direction of the flush water distributor 1, is located in front of the bearing point 24, the guide area 25 being partially open on its circumference.
[0046] The Figure 4 shows the flushing water distributor 1 used in sanitary article 2.
[0047] In the Figure 5 A rear view of the sanitary article 2 with the flush water distributor 1 inserted is shown. The bearing point 21 of the fixture 10 has a complementary shape to the bearing surface 9. That is, the bearing surface 9 is shaped to fit the bearing point 21.
[0048] In the Figure 6 An exploded view of the flushing water distributor 1 is shown. The flushing water distributor 1 includes on its outer side a bearing surface 9, which, as shown by the Figure 5The illustrated embodiment is designed such that the flushing water distributor 1 can be inserted into the bearing point 21 while aligned with its rotational position about the central axis M. In the illustrated embodiment, a seal 13 with circumferential sealing lips 14 is arranged on the bearing surface 9. This means that the flushing water distributor 1 is indirectly supported in the bearing point 21 of the receptacle 10. In the illustrated embodiment, the bearing surface 9 has a larger extent in the direction of a first axis A1 extending perpendicularly through the central axis M than in the direction of a second axis extending perpendicular to both the central axis M and the first axis A1. That is, the extent in the direction of the second axis A2 is smaller.
[0049] According to the invention, the bearing surface 9 has two spaced-apart, flat surface areas 11. These flat surface areas 11 are at a right angle to the second axis A2 and run parallel to the first axis A1 and the central axis. The surface areas 11 are each connected at their ends by two semicircular surface areas 12. The bearing point 24 is designed in the same way. The bearing point 24 also has surface areas which are connected by two semicircular surface areas 12.
[0050] In other embodiments, the bearing surface 9 can also be oval or elliptical in cross-section when viewed transversely to the central axis M. A non-circular shape is advantageous in this case.
[0051] In the illustrated embodiment, the bearing surface 9 extends completely around the central axis and is not directly part of the side wall 18, which forms the outer boundary of the flushing water channel S. That is to say, the bearing surface 9 is at least partially spaced away from the side wall 18.
[0052] The pipe element 3 has a circular cross-section at the inlet opening 4, viewed transversely to the central axis M. This circular cross-section is advantageous because a flushing pipe 22 with a corresponding seal 23 can be inserted into the pipe element 3 or the flushing water channel S via the inlet opening 4. The cross-section of the pipe element 3 or the flushing water channel S is independent of the cross-section of the bearing surface 9.
[0053] Referring to the sectional view of the Figures 7 to 10The structure of the flushing water distributor 1 in the area of the outlet openings will now be explained in more detail. In the flushing water channel S, viewed in the flow direction F, at least one guide wall 29 is arranged upstream of the outlet openings 5, 6, 7. In the illustrated embodiment, several guide walls 29 are arranged. The guide walls 29 are part of an insert 30. The insert 30 is designed separately from the pipe element 3 and can be partially inserted into the flushing water channel S. The insert 30 thus projects partially into the flushing water channel S and is attached to the pipe element 3 accordingly. The at least one guide wall 29 divides the pipe element 4 into a right distribution section 25 and a left distribution section 16. Furthermore, the pipe element 4 is divided into a middle distribution section 17, which lies between the two aforementioned distribution sections 15, 16 and leads to another outlet opening 7.
[0054] Furthermore, the flush water distributor 1 includes a fastening element 19, which is located in the Figure 1 The fastening element 19 serves to fasten the flush water distributor 1 to the sanitary fitting 2. The fastening element 19 has two bearing arms 20, which project from the pipe element 3 essentially transversely to the central axis M. The bearing arms 20 rest against or engage with a bearing point 21 on the sanitary fitting 2.
