AI Technical Summary
The existing mounting rail fastening devices require screws to be accessible for attaching the mounting rail to a wall, making it impossible to pre-assemble the rail with components and increasing the assembly effort, especially when connecting cables, which necessitates additional support blocks and further complicates the process.
The mounting rail fastening device features a rail arrangement with holding rails and a bus bar, where clamps are attached to the bus bar, allowing the mounting rail to be fastened to the wall using the fastening elements, eliminating the need for additional components and enabling direct contact with the fasteners, thus allowing pre-assembled rails to be mounted with reduced assembly effort.
This solution simplifies the assembly process by allowing pre-assembled mounting rails to be securely fastened to the wall without additional screws, reducing the overall assembly effort and enabling quick installation of components and cable shielding.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a mounting rail fastening device for fastening a mounting rail equipped with components to a wall, for example, a wall of a switch cabinet. The fastening device comprises a fastening device having at least two fastening elements for receiving the mounting rail, a rail arrangement connected to the two fastening elements, and at least one clamp arranged on the rail arrangement. Furthermore, the invention relates to an arrangement and a switch cabinet with such an arrangement.
[0002] Corresponding or similar mounting rail fastening devices are known, for example, from FR 2 638 033 A1, DE 29 44 372 A1 and DE 10 2019 105 077 A1. Mounting rails can be designed as an elongated U- or C-profile and are used to accommodate a large number of components, in particular connection terminals such as terminal blocks. The components can be mounted in a control cabinet using the mounting rails. The mounting rails usually have a large number of openings through which the mounting rails can be fastened to a wall of the control cabinet using screws. Since the screws are no longer accessible once the mounting rails are equipped with components, the mounting rails must first be fastened in the control cabinet using screws and only after the mounting rails have been fastened or mounted to a wall of the control cabinet can the mounting rails be equipped with the components.A pre-assembled and populated mounting rail cannot be installed in the control cabinet. This also precludes automated assembly of the mounting rails. The assembly effort required to populate a control cabinet with components and mounting rails is therefore very high. Connecting a shield or braided shield of a cable connected to one of the components usually requires a separate support block to accommodate a terminal. This support block must also be attached to the mounting rail, further increasing the assembly effort.
[0003] The invention is based on the object of providing a mounting rail fastening device, an arrangement and a control cabinet in which the assembly effort can be reduced.
[0004] The object is achieved according to the invention with the features of the independent claim. Expedient embodiments and advantageous further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
[0005] The support rail fastening device according to the invention is characterized in that the rail arrangement has at least two holding rails, wherein each fastening element is assigned one of the at least two holding rails and wherein the rail arrangement has a busbar connected to the at least two holding rails, wherein the at least one terminal is fastened to the busbar.
[0006] According to the invention, it is now provided that the clamp is attached via the fastening elements of the fastening device, which also serves to attach the mounting rail to the wall or a mounting plate. An additional component to be attached to the mounting rail, which serves to accommodate the clamp, is therefore no longer required. This can reduce the number of components to be mounted and thus also the assembly effort. The mounting rail, already equipped with components, is attached to the wall via the fastening elements of the fastening device, so that an indirect mounting of the mounting rail on the wall can take place. These fastening elements can be connected to the rail arrangement on which the clamp is arranged, so that the rail arrangement can be in direct contact with the fastening elements of the fastening device. The fastening elements can each have a receiving contour, via which a positive and / or non-positive connection of the fastening elements to the rail arrangement is possible. The terminal is attached to the fastening elements indirectly via the rail arrangement. The terminal can be, for example, a shield terminal for clamping the shielding of a cable connected to the components, a feed terminal, or a connection terminal. Other types of terminals are also possible. The components can be, for example, terminal blocks, controllers, power supplies, or the like, whereby different types of components can also be arranged, in particular snapped, onto the mounting rail.
[0007] According to the invention, the rail arrangement comprises at least two holding rails, wherein each fastening element is assigned one of the at least two holding rails and wherein the rail arrangement comprises a busbar connected to the at least two holding rails, wherein the at least one terminal is fastened to the busbar. The rail arrangement thus comprises a plurality of holding rails, wherein the busbar, on which the terminal is arranged, for example in order to clamp and connect the shielding of the conductor or cable to the busbar, can extend along the plurality of holding rails. The number of holding rails can, for example, correspond to the number of fastening elements of the fastening device, so that each fastening element has a
[0008] The retaining rails can be assigned. The retaining rails can be used to directly connect and thus secure the rail arrangement to the fastening elements.
[0009] The at least two retaining rails are preferably detachably fastened to the at least two fastening elements. Each fastening element can have a receiving contour, via which one of the retaining rails can be received on the fastening element. The receiving contour can be designed, for example, in the form of a recess, in particular a groove-shaped recess, into which one of the retaining rails can be inserted or pushed. A positive connection can be made between one of the fastening elements and one of the retaining rails via the receiving contour. Furthermore, the retaining rails can be connected to the respective fastening element in a force-fitting manner. The force-fitting connection can be made via a fastening means, which can preferably also serve at the same time to attach the fastening elements of the fastening device to the wall. The fastening means can thus form a force-locking connection between a fastening element of the fastening device, the retaining rail, and the wall. The fastening means can be a screw connection, for example. The retaining rail can also be attached to the wall via the fastening means. The fastening means can be guided through the respective fastening element of the fastening device and through the retaining rail and then fastened to the wall, so that the fastening elements of the fastening device and the respective retaining rail of the rail arrangement can be attached to the wall simultaneously.
[0010] The at least two holding rails can each be designed in the form of an angle rail, in particular an L-shaped angle rail. The design of the holding rails as an angle rail enables quick and easy installation of the holding rail on the respective fastening element of the fastening device and also of the busbar on the holding rail. The angle rail preferably has two rail arms, which are preferably arranged at a right angle to one another. The holding rail can be attached to the respective fastening element of the fastening device on a first rail arm, and the busbar and thus the terminal can be attached to the holding rail on the second rail arm.
[0011] To facilitate the installation of the busbar to the support rails, a connecting element can be arranged on each support rail, via which the busbar can be fastened to the respective support rail. The connecting element enables indirect fastening of the busbar to the support rail, so that the support rail itself does not need to have a specially designed receptacle for the busbar. The connecting element can preferably be detachably fastened to the respective support rail. For example, the connecting element can be fastened to the support rail by means of a screw connection. The connecting element is preferably fastened to the support rail at a distance from the respective fastening element of the fastening device.
[0012] The connecting element can be U-shaped and have two opposing cheeks, each with a feedthrough opening through which the busbar can extend when attached. The connecting element can be designed as a stamped and bent sheet. The busbar can be pushed through the feedthrough openings of the two cheeks of a connecting element in order to receive and fasten the busbar to the connecting element. To form the U-shape, the connecting element can have a bottom wall via which the two cheeks can be connected to one another. The connecting element can be fastened to the holding rail via the bottom wall.
[0013] Each fastening element of the fastening device can have a wall fastening section for fastening the fastening element to the wall and a support rail fastening section for fastening the fastening element to the support rail. When the fastening element is fastened to the support rail, the support rail fastening section can be guided, at least in part, through an opening formed in the support rail. The support rail section preferably has a rear grip into which a section of the support rail can be inserted in the fastened state. To fasten the mounting rail to a wall, in particular to the wall of a control cabinet, a fastening device with at least two fastening elements is now provided. The fastening elements are first fastened to a wall, which can also be a mounting plate, for example, and then the pre-assembled mounting rail equipped with components can be fastened to the fastening elements and thus to the wall. The mounting rail can be pushed into the fastening elements fastened to the wall, so that the mounting rail can be held and fastened to the wall by pushing it into the fastening elements of the fastening device. Otherwise conventional fastening means, such as several screws, no longer need to be attached to the mounting rail in order to fasten the mounting rail to the wall. This significantly simplifies the installation of the mounting rail to a wall.Only at one end section of the support rail, where no components are snapped onto the support rail, can the support rail be screwed directly to the wall, for example using a securing element such as a screw, in order to prevent the support rail from accidentally slipping out of the grip of the fastening elements. The fastening element has two sections, the support rail fastening section and the wall fastening section. The support rail fastening section is formed immediately adjacent to the wall fastening section. The components are snapped onto the support rail in the area of an upper side of the support rail. The support rail is mounted to the wall via an underside of the support rail opposite the upper side, to which no components are currently snapped. The fastening element, with its support rail fastening section, is guided through an opening in the support rail via the underside, so that, in the fastened state, the fastening element, with its support rail fastening section, protrudes at least partially through the opening in the support rail. The support rail preferably has several of these openings along its length, with one such fastening element being arranged in each opening to fasten the support rail to the wall. The openings in the support rail are preferably each elongated, so that they are longer than they are wide.Along its length, the support rail fastening section can have a rear grip into which a section of the support rail adjacent to the opening can be pushed during assembly, so that the support rail can engage with the rear grip in the fastened state and the support rail can be held to the respective fastening element of the fastening device via the rear grip. The support rail can thus be held and fastened to the fastening element of the fastening device and thus to the wall via a purely form-fitting connection. Using such a fastening device, support rails already equipped with components, so-called pre-assembled support rails, can be fastened to a wall quickly and easily and thus with little assembly effort.
[0014] The rear grip can be in the form of a recess formed on an outer peripheral surface of the support rail fastening section. The support rail fastening section can have a cylindrical and thus elongated shape, which can, for example, have a round or elliptical cross-section. The recess can be formed on the outer peripheral surface of this cylindrical shape. The recess can be in the form of a notch on the outer peripheral surface of the support rail fastening section. The recess extends from the outer peripheral surface in the direction of a central axis of the support rail fastening section.
[0015] The recess and thus the recess can taper from the outer peripheral surface of the support rail fastening section toward the center axis of the support rail fastening section. This taper allows for a precise insertion of the support rail section into the recess. Furthermore, the insertion of the support rail section into the recess can be made easier.
[0016] The rear grip and thus the recess can be delimited by a first wall surface and by a second wall surface opposite the first wall surface, wherein the first wall surface can have a ramp shape. Due to the ramp shape, the first wall surface can form an inclined surface. The second wall surface, on the other hand, preferably does not have a ramp shape. The second wall surface preferably extends in a horizontal plane which extends transversely to the central axis of the support rail fastening section. The first wall surface can, for example, extend at an angle of between 30° and 70°, preferably between 40° and 60°, inclined to the second wall surface. The ramp shape can compensate for tolerances in the support rail. In addition, support rails with different material thicknesses can be fastened to the fastening elements of the fastening device.Furthermore, this enables a virtually play-free connection to be achieved between the fastening element and the support rail and thus between the fastening device and the support rail.
[0017] The support rail fastening section is preferably formed integrally with the wall fastening section. The entire fastening element is thus preferably manufactured as a single piece.
[0018] Furthermore, the fastening device can have a securing element in addition to the fastening elements. The securing element is preferably arranged separately and thus at a distance from the fastening elements. The securing element can prevent the support rail from accidentally slipping out of or becoming detached from the fastening elements of the fastening device. The securing element can be fastened directly to the wall and directly to the support rail. The securing element is preferably arranged at an end of the support rail at which no components or the like are snapped onto the support rail. The securing element can be a screw, for example. However, it is also possible, for example, for the securing element to be designed to have the same shape as the fastening element. The securing element, which is designed to be identical in shape to the fastening element, can then be attached to the wall and to the support rail, for example, rotated by 180° to the actual fastening element, in order to be able to form a blocking effect against a sliding or sliding movement of the support rail.
[0019] Each fastening element can have two centering ribs running parallel to one another for aligning the support rail to the fastening element. The centering ribs can be formed on the wall fastening section of the fastening element. The centering ribs can be aligned such that they can extend along the length of the support rail. The two centering ribs formed on a fastening element can be spaced apart so far that the support rail can be received between the two centering ribs. Due to the two centering ribs, the wall fastening section of a fastening element can form a U-profile in cross-section. The wall fastening section can be designed in the form of a flange, onto which the two centering ribs can be integrally formed.
[0020] Furthermore, the object of the invention is achieved by means of an arrangement comprising a support rail and a support rail fastening device designed and further developed as described above, wherein the support rail is fastened to a wall via the support rail fastening device in order to hold the support rail to a wall. Preferably, several fastening elements of the fastening device can be provided along a length of the support rail, so that the support rail can be fastened to the wall with high stability and a high degree of security. The fastening elements of a fastening device arranged along a length of the support rail are preferably arranged at a distance from one another.
[0021] In addition, the object according to the invention is achieved by means of a control cabinet which has at least one arrangement described above, which is developed and further developed and which is fastened to a wall of the control cabinet.
[0022] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the attached drawings using preferred embodiments.
[0023] It shows Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of an assembly of a support rail fastening device according to the invention in a first assembly step for mounting on a wall, Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of the fastening elements of the fastening device together with the holding rails of the rail arrangement fastened to the wall, Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of a Fig. 2shown arrangement mounted support rail, Fig. 4 a schematic representation of the assembly of connecting elements on the support rails of the rail arrangement, Fig. 5 a schematic representation of the support rail fastening with the busbar mounted on the connecting elements of the rail arrangement, and Fig. 6 a schematic representation of the support rail fastening device with the clamp mounted on the busbar.
[0024] In the Fig. 1 to 6 the mounting of a support rail 200 equipped with components 300 on a wall 400 by means of a support rail fastening device 100 is shown.
[0025] The support rail fastening device 100 has a fastening device 110 for fastening the support rail 200 to the wall 400 and a rail arrangement 150 for mounting one or more terminals 170.
[0026] The fastening device 110 here has two fastening elements 111, which are each fastened to the wall 400 at a distance from one another.
[0027] The fastening elements 111 each have a wall fastening section 112, via which the fastening element 111 can be fastened to the wall 400. Furthermore, each fastening element 111 has a support rail fastening section 113, via which the fastening element 111 can be fastened to a support rail 200. The support rail fastening section 113 directly borders the wall fastening section 112. The support rail fastening section 113 is formed integrally with the wall fastening section 112. The support rail fastening section 113 protrudes from or projects from the wall fastening section 112. The support rail fastening section 113 has a significantly smaller cross-sectional area than the wall fastening section 112.
[0028] A rear grip 114 is formed on the support rail fastening section 113, into which a section 210 of the support rail 200 can be inserted to fasten the support rail 200 to the fastening element 111. The rear grip 114 represents an undercut. The rear grip 114 is in the form of a recess formed on the outer circumferential surface of the support rail fastening section 113. The recess and thus the rear grip 114 extend from the outer circumferential surface of the support rail fastening section 113 in the direction of a central axis of the support rail fastening section 113. In the embodiment shown here, the rear grip 114 extends so far into the support rail fastening section 113 that the rear grip 114 extends as far as the central axis of the support rail fastening section 113.
[0029] The recess forming the rear grip 114 is shaped such that the recess tapers from the outer circumferential surface of the support rail fastening section 113 in the direction of the central axis of the support rail fastening section 113. The taper is formed in that one of the two wall surfaces 115, 116 delimiting the recess or the rear grip 114 has a ramp shape. The first wall surface 115 has the ramp shape, whereas the second wall surface 116 extends in a horizontal plane. The horizontal plane runs transversely to the central axis. Due to the ramp shape, the first wall surface 115 is designed to run obliquely, so that the first wall surface 115 preferably extends at an angle of between 30° and 60° to the second wall surface 116.
[0030] The wall fastening section 112 is adjacent to the second wall surface 116 or the wall surface 116 can already be formed by the wall fastening section 112.
[0031] The second wall surface 116 forms a flat support surface for the section 210 of the support rail 200.
[0032] The wall mounting section 112 has the shape of a flange. Due to its flange shape, the wall mounting section 112 forms a support surface for the support rail 200 as well as for the wall 400.
[0033] An opening 117 is formed on the wall fastening section 112, into which a fastening means 118, such as a screw of a screw connection, can be inserted to fasten the fastening element 111 to the wall 400. The wall 400, in turn, has an opening 410 for each fastening element 111, into which the fastening means 118 of a fastening element 111 can be fastened, in particular screwed.
[0034] The fastening elements 111 are further connected to the rail assembly 150. The rail assembly 150 has a plurality of retaining rails 152. In the embodiment shown here, each retaining rail 152 is assigned to a fastening element 111.
[0035] A receiving contour 119 for receiving the retaining rail 152 is formed on the wall-mounting section 112 of a fastening element 111. The receiving contour 119 is formed on an underside 120 of the wall-mounting section 112 facing toward the wall 400. With the underside 120, the wall-mounting section 112 and thus the fastening element 111 rest flatly against the wall 400 when mounted on the wall 400. The receiving contour 119 is designed in the form of a groove-shaped recess. The receiving contour 119 extends across the entire width of the wall-mounting section 112 and thus the entire width of the fastening element 111.
[0036] During assembly, the retaining rail 152 is inserted or pushed into the receiving contour 119 of the fastening element 111 and then, by guiding the fastening means 118 through the opening 117, the retaining rail 152 is connected to the fastening element 111 and in this connected state, the fastening element 111 is fastened together with the retaining rail 152 to the wall 400 by means of the fastening means 118, as shown in Fig. 1 is shown. The fastening means 118 thus extends through the fastening element 111 and the holding rail 152 in the assembled state.
[0037] The holding rail 152 is releasably fastened to the fastening element 111 via the receiving contour 119 and the fastening means 118.
[0038] The receiving contour 119 is designed such that in the inserted or inserted state the holding rail 152 is flush with the underside 120 of the wall fastening section 112, so that in the mounted state the holding rail 152, like the underside 120 of the wall fastening section 112 of the fastening element 111, lies flat against the wall 400.
[0039] The support rails 152 are each designed as an L-shaped angle rail. Due to their design as an angle rail, the support rails 152 have a first rail arm 153 and a second rail arm 154. The first rail arm 153 extends at a right angle to the second rail arm 154. The support rail 152 is attached to the fastening element 111 and to the wall 400 on the first rail arm 153. A busbar 155 of the rail arrangement 150 is attached to the support rail 152 on the second rail arm 154.
[0040] Fig. 2 shows the mounted state of the support rails 152 and the fastening elements 111 on the wall 400.
[0041] Once the support rails 152 of the rail arrangement 150 and the fastening elements 111 of the fastening device 110 are fastened to the wall 400, the support rail 200 equipped with components 300 is fastened to the fastening elements 111 of the fastening device 110. For a better understanding, Fig. 2 the support rail 200 is shown without the components 300 snapped onto it.
[0042] The support rail 200 is thus fastened to the fastening elements 111 of the fastening device 110, which are already attached to the wall 400. The support rail 200 is placed on the fastening elements 111 in such a way that the support rail fastening section 113 is guided through an opening 211 formed on the support rail 200. At this point in time, the support rail fastening section 113 is still spaced apart from the section 210 of the support rail 200, via which the actual fastening of the support rail 200 to the fastening element 111 takes place.
[0043] In order to achieve the final state of the fastening, a sliding movement V of the support rail 200 takes place such that the section 210 of the support rail 200, which is formed adjacent to the opening 211, is inserted into the rear grip 114 of the support rail fastening section 113 of the fastening element 111. The inserted state is shown in Fig. 3shown. If several fastening elements 111 are used, the support rail 200 is simultaneously inserted with the respective section 210 of the support rail 200 into the rear grip 114 of the respective fastening element 111.
[0044] In addition to the two fastening elements 111 shown here, the fastening device 110 has a securing element 121. The securing element 121 is provided in the form of an additional component to the fastening elements 111. The support rail 200 can be secured to the wall 400 at an end section 214 of the support rail 200 by means of the securing element 121, so that an unintentional slipping of the support rail 200 out of the rear grip 114 of the fastening elements 111 can be prevented. The securing element 121 engages through an opening 216 in the end section 214 of the support rail 200. In contrast to the opening 211, this opening 216 is not designed as an elongated hole.
[0045] The securing element 121, like the fastening elements 111, has a support rail fastening section 122 and a wall fastening section 123. The support rail fastening section 122 has a rear grip 124, in which a part of the support rail 200, as shown for example in Fig. 3 shown, can be inserted. The rear grip 124 represents an undercut. The rear grip 124 is designed in the form of a recess formed on the outer peripheral surface of the support rail fastening section 122. The recess and thus the rear grip 124 are designed here with the same shape as the recess and the rear grip 114 of the fastening element 111. The recess and thus the rear grip 124 tapers in the direction of the central axis of the support rail fastening section 122.
[0046] The wall fastening section 123 is also designed here in the form of a flange in which an opening 125 is formed, in which a fastening means 126 in the form of a screw connection is arranged in order to fasten the securing element 121 to a wall 400 via its wall fastening section 123.
[0047] The support rail 200 is inserted with its end section 214 into the rear grip 124 of the support rail fastening section 122 of the securing element 121. This occurs in the region of the opening 216 at the end section 214 of the support rail 200. The opening 216 is open here, so that the opening 216 has a U-shape. Due to the one-sided open design of the opening 216, the support rail fastening section 122 of the securing element 121 can be inserted into the opening 216 until the support rail 200 is immersed in the rear grip 124 and is thus locked to the rear grip 124.
[0048] The securing element 121 is thus designed to have the same shape as the fastening element 111. The support rail fastening section 113 of the fastening element 111 is designed to have the same shape as the support rail fastening section 122 of the securing element 121. The wall fastening section 112 of the fastening element 111 is also designed to have the same shape as the wall fastening section 123 of the securing element 121.
[0049] In order to achieve the locking effect of the securing element 121, the securing element 121 is arranged rotated by 180° to the fastening element 111 of the same shape.
[0050] The wall fastening section 112 of the fastening element 111, which is designed as a flange, and also the wall fastening section 123 of the securing element 121 are U-shaped in cross section, so that the support rail 200 can be inserted into the U-shaped cross section of the wall fastening sections 112, 123, as shown in Fig. 3can be seen. To form the U-shape, the wall mounting sections 112, 123 each have two centering ribs 127, 128 arranged parallel to one another on their side surfaces directed towards the support rail 200, between which the support rail 200 can be inserted, so that lateral slipping or tilting of the support rail 200 on the flange-shaped wall mounting section 112, 123 can be prevented.
[0051] After fastening the support rail 200 equipped with components 300 to the fastening device 110 by placing the support rail 200 onto the fastening device 110 and moving the support rail 200 in the direction indicated by the arrow V, for example, the shielding or the shielding braid of the cables plugged into the components 300, not shown here, can be fastened or clamped to the terminal 170, which here is then a shield clamp, whereby the shielding can be clamped against the busbar 155.
[0052] The busbar 155 extends, as shown in the Figs. 5 and 6shown, parallel to the length of the support rail 200. The busbar 155 is fastened to the support rails 152 via connecting elements 156. A connecting element 156 is arranged on each support rail 152. The connecting elements 156 are each fastened to the second rail arm 154 of the support rails 152. The fastening is effected here via a screw connection 157, so that the connecting elements 156 are detachably screwed to the support rails 152.
[0053] The connecting elements 156 each have a U-shape, in that they each have two cheeks 158, 159 extending parallel to one another and a bottom wall 160 formed between the two cheeks 158, 159. The bottom wall 160 is arranged at a right angle to the two cheeks 158, 159. The connecting elements 156 are fastened to the holding rails 152 via the bottom wall 160, in that the screw connection 157 extends through the bottom wall 160. In the fastened state, the connecting elements 156 each rest flatly with their bottom wall 160 against the holding rail 152 or against the second rail arm 154 of the holding rail 152.
[0054] The cheeks 158, 159 each have a through-opening 161, 162 through which the busbar 155 is passed to hold the busbar 155 to the connecting elements 156. The through-openings 161, 162 of the cheeks 158, 159 and the connecting elements 156 are arranged or aligned in alignment with one another.
[0055] The busbar 155 is inserted into the cheeks 158, 159 and thus into the connecting elements 156 via the feedthrough openings 161, 162.
[0056] Terminal 170 is plugged onto busbar 155 or clamped onto busbar 155.
