AI Technical Summary
High-pressure cleaning devices face challenges in assembly due to vibration-damping buffer elements, which also contribute to noise transmission, making them difficult to assemble and operate quietly.
The use of pocket-shaped receptacles aligned in pairs to securely position vibration-damping buffer elements between the device housing and the motor pump unit, effectively reducing both axial and radial vibrations and simplifying assembly.
This configuration allows for easier assembly and significantly reduces noise levels by effectively damping vibrations, resulting in a more stable and quieter operation of the high-pressure cleaning device.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a high-pressure cleaning device with a device housing that surrounds a motor pump unit with a motor and a pump driven by it, wherein the motor pump unit is held on the device housing by means of vibration-damping buffer elements.
[0002] High-pressure cleaning devices of this type are used, for example, to clean surfaces by directing a pressurized cleaning fluid, preferably water, onto the surface. The cleaning fluid is pressurized by a pump driven by a motor.
[0003] An electric motor is frequently used as the motor. The system may incorporate a system where the electric motor is cooled by the pressurized cleaning fluid. For this purpose, the fluid is first fed into a cooling channel that circumferentially surrounds the motor, and then into a pump inlet. This allows the pump to pressurize the cleaning fluid, which is then discharged through a pump outlet. A high-pressure hose, for example, can be connected to the pump outlet, with a spray lance at its free end.
[0004] The motor, the pump, and a gearbox located between the motor and the pump often form a single unit, which is referred to below as the motor-pump unit. It can be pre-assembled during the manufacture of the high-pressure cleaner and then inserted into a housing.
[0005] The operation of such high-pressure cleaning equipment is associated with noise generation. WO 2010 / 054701 A1 proposes mounting the motor pump unit to the equipment housing using vibration-damping buffer elements. This avoids a rigid connection between the motor pump unit and the housing, thus reducing the transmission of vibrations from the motor pump unit to the equipment housing. However, the use of vibration-damping buffer elements often makes the installation of the high-pressure cleaning equipment more difficult; in particular, the vibration-damping buffer elements often make inserting the motor pump unit into the equipment housing more challenging.
[0006] The object of the present invention is therefore to further develop a high-pressure cleaning device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is easier to assemble and yet has a low noise level.
[0007] This problem is solved in a high-pressure cleaning device of the generic type according to the invention in that the high-pressure cleaning device has a first and a second holding device which are fixed to the device housing, wherein the first holding device has at least a first pocket-shaped receptacle which is arranged in the axial direction aligned with a second pocket-shaped receptacle positioned on the motor pump unit with a first vibration-damping buffer element interposed, wherein the first vibration-damping buffer element has two axially opposing end sections which are each received by one of the first and second pocket-shaped receptacles, and wherein the first vibration-damping buffer element is fixed in the axial direction and in the radial direction by means of the first and second pocket-shaped receptacles, and wherein the second holding device has at least a third pocket-shaped receptacle.the second vibration-damping buffer element is arranged in axial alignment with a fourth pocket-shaped receptacle positioned on the motor pump unit, wherein the second vibration-damping buffer element has two axially opposing end sections, each of which is received by one of the third and fourth receptacles, and wherein the second buffer element is fixed in the axial and radial directions by means of the third and fourth receptacles.
[0008] In the high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention, the motor pump unit is mounted via first and second vibration-damping buffer elements and a first and a second mounting device, which are fixed to the device housing. First pocket-shaped receptacles are arranged on the first mounting device, into which at least one first vibration-damping buffer element with an axial end section is inserted. A second axial end section of the at least one first buffer element, axially opposite the first axial end section, is inserted into a second pocket-shaped receptacle, which is arranged on the motor pump unit and aligned axially with the first pocket-shaped receptacle of the first mounting device.
[0009] Similarly, at least one third pocket-shaped receptacle is arranged on the second holding device, aligned axially with a fourth pocket-shaped receptacle arranged on the motor-pump unit. The third and fourth receptacles accommodate axially opposite end sections of a second vibration-damping buffer element.
[0010] The at least one first buffer element is fixed in the axial and radial directions by means of a first and a second pocket-shaped receptacle, and the at least one second vibration-damping buffer element is fixed in the axial and radial directions by means of a third and a fourth receptacle.
[0011] The high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention thus has pairs of pocket-shaped receptacles aligned to each other in the axial direction, between which a vibration-damping buffer element is arranged, the axially opposite end sections of which are each received by a pocket-shaped receptacle, so that the buffer elements are fixed both in the axial direction and in the radial direction.
[0012] The axial alignment of the pocket-shaped recesses, into which the vibration-damping buffer elements are inserted, facilitates easier assembly of the high-pressure cleaner, particularly simplifying the insertion of the motor-pump unit into the housing. Furthermore, it has been shown that the use of pairs of axially aligned pocket-shaped recesses effectively reduces the transmission of both axial and radial vibrations from the motor-pump unit to the housing. The high-pressure cleaner according to the invention therefore exhibits very low noise levels.
[0013] Preferably, the first and second mounting devices are arranged at an axial distance from each other with respect to the longitudinal axis of the motor pump unit. This allows for a particularly stable mounting of the motor pump unit in the device housing.
[0014] It is advantageous if the first holding device has several first pocket-shaped receptacles, each of which is arranged axially aligned with a second pocket-shaped receptacle positioned on the motor-pump unit, with a first vibration-damping buffer element interposed, wherein each first buffer element has two axially opposing end sections, each of which is received by one of the first and second receptacles. In such an embodiment of the high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention, several first vibration-damping buffer elements are used, via which the motor-pump unit is mechanically connected to the first holding device by means of pocket-shaped receptacles arranged in pairs and aligned axially with each other. The first buffer elements are fixed in the axial and radial directions by means of a first mounting point located on the first holding device and a second mounting point located on the motor-pump unit. The use of several first vibration-damping buffer elements allows for particularly effective damping of both axial and radial vibrations of the motor-pump unit.
[0015] Preferably, the second pocket-shaped receptacles are arranged distributed around the circumference of the motor pump unit.
[0016] It is particularly advantageous if the second pocket-shaped inlets are evenly distributed around the circumference of the motor pump unit.
[0017] For example, it may be provided that three, four or six second pocket-shaped receptacles are arranged distributed around the circumference of the motor pump unit.
[0018] The first and second pocket-shaped recesses preferably extend along the circumference of an axial end section of a first buffer element and are located at an end surface of an axial end section.
[0019] For example, it may be provided that the first and second pocket-shaped openings have a U-shaped cross-section.
[0020] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first holding device forms a retaining ring that surrounds the motor pump unit in the circumferential direction, forming an annular gap.
[0021] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, particularly simple assembly of the high-pressure cleaning device is achieved by the retaining ring having two diametrically opposed radial extension sections, each of which engages in an inner housing receptacle of the device housing. For example, the device housing may have a front and a rear housing half-shell, which accommodate the motor pump unit between them and each of which has a housing receptacle on its inner side into which the retaining ring with an extension section engages.
[0022] Preferably, the extension sections each form a positive fit with a housing receptacle. This allows for a particularly stable mounting of the retaining ring on the device housing.
[0023] It is advantageous if the extension sections are detachably connected to a housing mount using connecting elements. Connecting screws, for example, can be used as connecting elements.
[0024] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the retaining ring comprises two half-rings, each having at least one first pocket-shaped receptacle. The two half-rings can extend circumferentially around the motor pump unit. In particular, the two half-rings can each extend over an angular range of approximately 180°. The use of the half-rings further simplifies the assembly of the high-pressure cleaning device.
[0025] Preferably, the two semicircles are connected to each other. In particular, the two semicircles can be detachably connected to each other.
[0026] It is advantageous if each of the two half-rings is detachably connected to the device housing. This increases the overall stability of the retaining ring.
[0027] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second holding device has several third pocket-shaped receptacles, each of which is arranged axially aligned with a fourth pocket-shaped receptacle positioned on the motor-pump unit, with a second vibration-damping buffer element interposed. Each second buffer element has axially opposite end sections, each of which is received by one of the third and fourth receptacles. In such an embodiment of the invention, several second vibration-damping buffer elements are used, via which the second holding device is mechanically connected to the motor-pump unit. The second buffer elements are fixed axially and radially by means of the third and fourth receptacles and enable effective damping of both axial and radial vibrations of the motor-pump unit.
[0028] Preferably, the third and fourth pocket-shaped recesses each extend along the circumference of an axial end section of a second vibration-damping buffer element and are located against an end surface of the axial end section.
[0029] For example, it may be provided that the third and fourth pocket-shaped openings have a U-shaped cross-section.
[0030] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the second holding device forms a support member on which the motor pump unit sits during operation of the high-pressure cleaning device.
[0031] The at least one fourth pocket-shaped receptacle can, for example, be located on the outside of a bottom wall of the motor pump unit.
[0032] It is advantageous if the support member has a support body on the upper surface of which, facing the motor-pump unit, at least one third pocket-shaped receptacle is arranged. The motor-pump unit can be supported axially in a structurally simple manner via the support body, with at least one second vibration-damping buffer element interposed.
[0033] With respect to the longitudinal axis of the motor pump unit, the support body is preferably designed to be rotationally symmetrical. The support body can, for example, have the shape of a cylinder or a truncated cone.
[0034] It is advantageous if the support member has a base part to which the support body is attached and which extends into a bracket located on the inside of the bottom wall of the device housing. The bracket allows for a simple and structurally sound way to secure the support member to the device housing.
[0035] It is particularly advantageous if the first and second buffer elements are identical in design. This further simplifies assembly and allows for larger quantities of buffer elements to be manufactured more cost-effectively.
[0036] The first and second buffer elements are preferably designed in a plate-like shape.
[0037] It is advantageous if the first and second buffer elements are made of a foam material, preferably a microcellular polyurethane elastomer. Such materials enable particularly effective damping of vibrations from the motor pump unit, so that these vibrations are transmitted to the device housing only to a very limited extent.
[0038] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the motor pump unit has a first and a second motor housing part which are connected to each other via two connecting flanges, wherein the at least one second pocket-shaped receptacle is arranged on one of the two connecting flanges.
[0039] Preferably, at least one second pocket-shaped receptacle is arranged on one side of a connecting flange, facing away from the other connecting flange.
[0040] As mentioned at the outset, it is advantageous if the motor of the high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention is designed as a liquid-cooled electric motor. This eliminates the need for ventilation slots in the device housing, which in turn further reduces the noise level of the high-pressure cleaning device.
[0041] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, an additional reduction in noise is achieved by the pump having a pump outlet that is connected via a flexible hose to a liquid outlet part held on the device housing. Providing a flexible hose between the pump outlet and the liquid outlet part held on the device housing reduces the transmission of mechanical vibrations from the pump outlet to the device housing and thereby reduces the noise level of the high-pressure cleaner.
[0042] The following description of an advantageous embodiment of the invention, in conjunction with the drawing, serves for further explanation. The drawing shows: Figure 1: a perspective view of a high-pressure cleaner; Figure 2: a sectional view of the high-pressure cleaner along line 2-2 from Figure 1Figure 3: a perspective view of a front housing half of the high-pressure cleaning device made of Figure 1 Figure 4: a perspective view of a rear housing half of the high-pressure cleaner made of Figure 1 Figure 5: a side view of a motor pump unit of the high-pressure cleaning device, wherein the motor pump unit is surrounded circumferentially by a first retaining device in the form of a retaining ring and rests on a second retaining device in the form of a support member; Figure 6: a perspective view of the motor pump unit together with the retaining ring and the support member made of Figure 5 Figure 7: a perspective view of the motor pump unit together with the retaining ring and the support member made of Figure 5, wherein a half-ring of the retaining ring and a first vibration-damping buffer element are hidden; Figure 8: a sectional view of a liquid-cooled electric motor of the motor-pump unit; Figure 9: a sectional view of the motor-pump unit along line 9-9 in Figure 5 Figure 10: a perspective view of the retaining ring from below, showing the retaining ring having several first pocket-shaped recesses; Figure 11: a perspective view of the retaining ring from Figure 10 , wherein first vibration-damping buffer elements are inserted into the first pocket-shaped receptacles; Figure 12: a perspective view of the support member obliquely from above, wherein the support member has several third pocket-shaped receptacles; Figure 13: a perspective view of the support member made of Figure 12, wherein second vibration-damping buffer elements are inserted into the third pocket-shaped receptacles; Figure 14: a perspective view of a bracket into which the support member is inserted; Figure 15: a perspective view of a flexible hose line through which a pump outlet of the motor pump unit is connected to a liquid outlet part fixed to the rear housing half shell.
[0043] The drawing schematically illustrates an advantageous embodiment of a high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention, which is designated by reference numeral 10. The high-pressure cleaning device 10 has a housing 12 formed by a front housing half-shell 14 and a rear housing half-shell 16. In the illustrated embodiment, a hose reel 18 is arranged on the outside of the rear housing half-shell 16, onto which a high-pressure hose 20 is wound. However, such a hose reel is not strictly necessary.
[0044] The rear housing half-shell 16 is designed in a trough-like shape and includes a rear wall 22 with a plurality of internally arranged reinforcing ribs 24. On opposite side walls 26, 28 of the rear housing half-shell 16, running wheels 30, 32 are rotatably mounted on the outside, with the aid of which the high-pressure cleaning device 10 can be moved.
[0045] The front housing half-shell 14 is designed in the manner of a hood and has a rotary switch 36 on its front side 34, which faces away from the rear housing half-shell 16, with which the high-pressure cleaning device 10 can be switched on and off.
[0046] The two housing halves 14, 16 accommodate between them a motor-pump unit 38, which comprises a liquid-cooled electric motor 40 and a pump 42 driven by it. Furthermore, the motor-pump unit 38 includes an electrical switching device 44, which is connected to the rotary switch 36 via a switching shaft 46.
[0047] As can be seen particularly from the Figure 5 and 8As can be clearly seen, the electric motor 40 has a motor housing 48 with a pot-shaped first motor housing part 50 and a hood-shaped second motor housing part 52 covering the first motor housing part 50. The first motor housing part 50 forms a first connecting flange 54 into which a cooling channel 56 is formed, and the second motor housing part 52 forms a second connecting flange 58. The two motor housing parts 50 and 52 are connected to each other via the two connecting flanges 54 and 58. For this purpose, the two connecting flanges 54 and 58 are screwed together by means of connecting screws 60.
[0048] Cleaning fluid, which is to be pressurized, can be supplied to the cooling channel 56 via a rigid inlet line 62 that passes through an inlet opening 64 of the front housing half-shell 14. For this purpose, a supply line, such as a supply hose, which is known per se and therefore not shown in the drawing, can be connected to the end of the inlet line 62 protruding from the front housing half-shell 14.
[0049] The cooling channel 56 is connected to a pump inlet 68 via a connecting line 66, so that the cleaning fluid to be pressurized, after flowing through the cooling channel 56 and cooling the electric motor 40, can be supplied to the pump 42. The cleaning fluid is pressurized by the pump 42 and discharged via a pump outlet 70.
[0050] As especially from Figure 15As can be clearly seen, the pump outlet 70 is connected via a flexible hose 72 to a rigid liquid outlet section 74, which extends through and is fixed to the rear wall 22 of the rear housing half-shell 16. The high-pressure hose 20, which is wound onto the hose reel 18, connects to the liquid outlet section 74.
[0051] For mounting the motor pump unit 38 on the two housing halves 14, 16, the high-pressure cleaning device 10 has a first mounting device 76 and a second mounting device 78. The first mounting device 76 is connected to the motor pump unit 38 via first vibration-damping buffer elements 80, and the second mounting device 78 is connected to the motor pump unit 38 via second vibration-damping buffer elements 82. This will be explained in more detail below.
[0052] The first retaining device 76 forms a retaining ring 84 that circumferentially surrounds the motor-pump unit 38 above the second connecting flange 58, forming an annular gap 86. The retaining ring 84 is formed by two half-rings 88, 90, each extending circumferentially over an angular range of 180°. The two half-rings 88, 90 are connected to each other.
[0053] In the illustrated embodiment, one of the two half-rings 88, 90 has a T-shaped connecting pin 92 which engages a connecting slot 94 of the other of the two half-rings 88, 90. This is particularly evident from the Figure 2 and 6 clearly.
[0054] The undersides of the semi-rings 88, 90 facing the first motor housing part 50 each have two first pocket-shaped recesses 100, 102 and 104, 106 respectively, into which a first vibration-damping buffer element 80 with an upper axial end section 108 is inserted. The first pocket-shaped recesses 100, 102, 104, 106 each extend along the circumference of an upper axial end section 108 and abut its upper end surface 112. This is particularly evident from the Figure 8 and 9 clearly.
[0055] The motor pump unit 38 has, on the upper surface 114 of the second connecting flange 58 facing the retaining ring 84, second pocket-shaped receptacles 116, 118, 120, 122, which are each axially aligned with a first pocket-shaped receptacle 100, 102, 104, or 106, respectively. The second pocket-shaped receptacles 116, 118, 120, 122 each receive a lower axial end section 124 of a first vibration-damping buffer element 80, the lower end section 124 being axially opposite the upper end section 108. The second receptacles 116, 118, 120, 122 each extend along the circumference of a lower axial end section 124 and abut its lower end surface 130 facing the second connecting flange 58.
[0056] The first and second pocket-shaped receptacles 100, 102, 104, 106, 116, 118, 120, 122 are thus aligned in pairs with each other and each accommodates a first vibration-damping buffer element 80 between them, wherein the first vibration-damping buffer element 80 is fixed in the axial and radial directions by means of the first and second receptacles.
[0057] The first vibration-damping buffer elements 80 are arranged evenly distributed around the circumference of the motor pump unit 38. In the illustrated embodiment, the first vibration-damping buffer elements 80, as well as the second vibration-damping buffer elements 82 described in more detail below, are identical in design. They consist of a microcellular polyurethane elastomer.
[0058] The second holding device 78 forms a support member 132 on which the motor pump unit 38 rests, with several second vibration-damping buffer elements 82 interposed. The support member 132 has a trough-shaped base part 134 that extends into a bracket 136 of the front housing half-shell 14. The bracket 136 is located on the inside of a bottom wall 138 of the front housing half-shell 14.
[0059] The motor pump unit 38 has a longitudinal axis 140 that is aligned coaxially with a motor shaft 142 of the electric motor 40. A support body 144 of the support member 132, rotationally symmetrical to the longitudinal axis 140, adjoins the base part 134 of the support member 132 in the direction of the motor pump unit 38. Four identically designed third pocket-shaped recesses 148, 150, 152, 154 are formed in a top surface 146 of the support body 144 facing the motor pump unit 38, into each of which a lower axial end section 156 of a second vibration-damping buffer element 82 is inserted. The third pocket-shaped recesses 148, 150, 152, 154 each extend along the circumference of a lower end section 156 and abut its lower end surface 158.
[0060] The motor pump unit 38 has four identically designed fourth pocket-shaped recesses on the outside of a bottom wall 160 of the first motor housing part 50, each aligned with a third pocket-shaped recess of the support member 132, with only two fourth pocket-shaped recesses 162, 164 being shown in the drawing. An upper axial end section 166 of a second vibration-damping buffer element 82 extends into each of the fourth pocket-shaped recesses 162, 164, the fourth pocket-shaped recesses 162, 164 each extending along the circumference of an upper axial end section 166 and bearing against its upper end surface 168.
[0061] The third and fourth pocket-shaped receptacles 148, 150, 152, 154, 162, 164 are thus aligned in pairs with each other and each accommodate a second vibration-damping buffer element 82 between them, wherein the second vibration-damping buffer elements 82 are fixed in the axial and radial directions by means of the third and fourth receptacles.
[0062] The motor pump unit 38 is mounted on the device housing 12 via the first vibration-damping buffer elements 80 and the second vibration-damping buffer elements 82 and the two holding devices 76, 78. The second holding device 78, in the form of the support member 32, is held on the device housing 12 by means of the bracket 136, and the first holding device 76, in the form of the retaining ring 84, is fixed to the device housing 12 by means of a front housing receptacle 170 located on the inside of the front housing half-shell 14 and a rear housing receptacle 172 located on the inside of the rear housing half-shell 16. For this purpose, the retaining ring 84 has two diametrically opposed radial extension sections 174, 176, each of which engages in one of the two housing receptacles 170, 172. The extension sections 174, 176 are formed by end sections 178, 180, 182, 184 of the two semirings 88, 90.Each of the two semicircular rings 88, 90 has a front end section 178, 182 inserted into the front housing receptacle 170, and each of the two semicircular rings 88, 90 has a rear end section 180, 184 inserted into the rear housing receptacle 172. The end sections 178, 180, 182, 184 of the semicircular rings 88, 90 can be screwed to the respective housing receptacle 170, 172.
[0063] The high-pressure cleaning device 10 according to the invention is characterized by very effective damping of the axial and radial vibrations of the motor pump unit, so that the high-pressure cleaning device 10 exhibits only low noise levels. The axial alignment of the pocket-shaped receptacles into which the first and second buffer elements 80, 82 are inserted allows the vibration-damping buffer elements 80, 82 to be mounted in the axial direction, and subsequently the motor pump unit 38, together with the two retaining devices 76, 78, can be easily inserted into the rear housing half-shell 16, so that the front housing half-shell 14 can then be placed onto the rear housing half-shell 16 and the motor pump unit 38 arranged therein. The high-pressure cleaning device 10 according to the invention is thus also characterized by simple assembly.
