Description
[0001] The invention relates to a sealing arrangement for a vehicle window arranged on a vehicle, wherein the sealing arrangement is arranged between a first window element of the vehicle window and at least one further window element of the vehicle window that is movable relative to the first window element, wherein the sealing arrangement has a first horizontal sealing section and at least one second vertical sealing section.
[0002] From DE 10 2013 003 243 A1 a vehicle side door is known with a first pane part that is fixedly connected to the vehicle door and a second, movable pane part, wherein the two-part pane consists of a plastic and a stiffening element is assigned to the second pane part.
[0003] From the document EP 2 303 622 B1 a combination of a seal and a first pane, which interact with a second pane of a motor vehicle, is known.
[0004] From the publication US 2011 / 033 667 A1 a separating glass with at least two glass elements is known.
[0005] From the publication DE 10 2018 218 332 A1 a sealing arrangement between two flat components is known.
[0006] In a multi-part vehicle windshield with a movable pane and a fixed pane mounted on the vehicle, a vacuum develops in the area of the panes at high vehicle speeds (particularly at speeds greater than 200 km / h), pulling the panes outward. This makes threading / sealing the movable pane difficult. This problem can be at least partially counteracted by a seal with a relatively large cross-section arranged between the two panes. However, this results in obscuring the view, particularly in the area of a vehicle pillar.
[0007] The object underlying the invention is seen in providing a sealing arrangement for a multi-part vehicle window which, on the one hand, enables improved threading / sealing of window elements at high speeds and, on the other hand, does not additionally restrict visibility.
[0008] This object is achieved by a sealing arrangement for a vehicle window arranged on a vehicle with the features of patent claim 1 and by a vehicle with the features of patent claim 10. Advantageous embodiments with expedient further developments are specified in the dependent patent claims.
[0009] A sealing arrangement for a vehicle window arranged on a vehicle is therefore proposed, wherein the sealing arrangement has a first horizontal sealing section and at least one second vertical sealing section, wherein the first sealing section and the second sealing section are arranged between a first window element of the vehicle window and at least one further window element of the vehicle window that is movable relative to the first window element.
[0010] It is provided that the first horizontal sealing section has a larger cross-sectional area than the second vertical sealing section.
[0011] In the context of the present application, "horizontal" means that the sealing section in question extends along an imaginary horizontal straight line, in particular from front to rear. Minor deviations, inclinations, or curvatures relative to an imaginary horizontal straight line are also intended to fall under the chosen term "horizontal." In particular, the horizontal sealing section is also intended to encompass at least a section-wise intersection / crossing with the imaginary horizontal straight line at an acute angle, wherein the angle is, for example, less than 20°, in particular less than 10°. The term "horizontal" can also be understood to mean that the horizontal sealing section essentially follows the contour line of a vehicle roof.
[0012] In the context of the present application, "vertical" is understood to mean that the sealing section in question extends along an imaginary vertical straight line, in particular from top to bottom. Minor deviations, inclinations, or curvatures relative to an imaginary vertical straight line are also intended to fall under the chosen term "vertical." In particular, the vertical sealing section is also intended to encompass at least a section-wise intersection / crossing with the imaginary vertical straight line at an acute angle, wherein the angle is, for example, less than 40°, in particular less than 20°. The term "vertical" can also be understood to mean that the horizontal sealing section essentially follows the inclination of a windshield or the inclination of a frame element, such as the A-pillar or front door frame of a vehicle body.
[0013] Sealing sections with different cross-sectional areas enable variable sealing and disc element guidance between the first disc element and the further disc element.
[0014] A larger cross-sectional area results in an enlarged "threading area," allowing for improved disc element guidance. The second sealing section can serve as a simple seal, avoiding additional visibility restrictions due to the smaller cross-sectional area.
[0015] Furthermore, the first sealing portion may be connected to the second sealing portion.
[0016] The first sealing portion and the second sealing portion may be configured to receive at least one edge region of the first disc element and one edge region of the further disc element.
[0017] In this case, the first sealing section and the second sealing section can have a contact section that rests against the further disc element or can be brought into contact with it.
[0018] The contact section of the first sealing section can have a different, in particular larger, contact surface than the contact section of the second sealing section. The larger contact surface of the first sealing section allows a larger edge area of the additional disc element to be accommodated. This makes it possible to improve the disc element guidance and sealing, especially at high speeds.
[0019] The further disc element can be movable relative to the first disc element, in particular away from or towards the first sealing section and the second sealing section.
[0020] The first disc element and the further disc element can be aligned at an inclination to one another so that a kink is formed in the region of the sealing arrangement.
[0021] The first pane element and the further pane element can be arranged in the area of a vehicle door of the vehicle.
[0022] The first window element can further be arranged in the region of a front vehicle pillar of the vehicle.
[0023] The above object is also achieved by a vehicle having a sealing arrangement for a vehicle window arranged on the vehicle as described above.
[0024] The additional window element can be movably connected to a side door of the vehicle.
[0025] The additional pane element can be at least partially retractable into the side door.
[0026] The first disc element and the further disc element can be arranged relative to one another in such a way that a kink is formed in the region of the sealing arrangement which is perceptible from the outside of the vehicle.
[0027] Further advantages and details of the invention will become apparent from the following description of embodiments with reference to the figures. Fig. 1A shows a simplified and schematic basic representation of an embodiment of a sealing arrangement for a vehicle window arranged on a vehicle; Fig. 1B shows a simplified and schematic basic representation of an embodiment of the sealing arrangement; Fig. 2A shows a simplified and schematic sectional representation of the sealing arrangement; Fig. 2B shows a simplified and schematic sectional representation of the sealing arrangement.
[0028] In Fig. 1A und Fig. 1B Simplified and schematic representations of the principle of an embodiment of a sealing arrangement 10 for a vehicle window 12 arranged on a vehicle F are shown. The sealing arrangement 10 is accommodated or arranged between a first window element 12a and at least one further window element 12b of the vehicle window. In the Fig. 1 In the example shown, two pane elements 12a, 12b are shown. However, this is not limiting, and the vehicle window 12 may have additional pane elements. The sealing arrangement 10 further comprises a first sealing portion 14a and a second sealing portion 14b. The first sealing portion 14a may, for example, extend substantially horizontally between the first pane element 12a and the further pane element 12b, as in Fig. 1A und Fig. 1B The second sealing section 14b can extend substantially vertically to the first sealing section 14a between the first disc element 12a and the further disc element 12b and can also be located in the region of a vehicle pillar (not shown in Fig. 1A und Fig. 1B shown) of the vehicle F. Further embodiments for the sealing sections 14a, 14b are possible and the example shown is not restrictive. Fig. 1A The area illustrated by the dashed circle is in Fig. 1B shown enlarged.
[0029] Here, the first sealing section 14a has a different cross-sectional area than the second sealing section 14b. This is indicated by the wider line for the first sealing section 14a in Fig. 1B illustrated and will be explained later with reference to Fig. 2A und Fig. 2B described in detail. Using the different cross-sectional areas, different sealing profiles can be realized in the respective sealing sections 14a, 14b, enabling variable disc element guidance.
[0030] For example, at a high speed of the vehicle F, especially at speeds greater than 200 km / h, a negative pressure is created which pulls the disc elements 12a, 12b outwards. This makes it difficult to thread the additional disc element 12b in an open state, as is the case, for example, in Fig. 1B is illustrated.
[0031] To counteract this effect, the first sealing section 14a can therefore have a larger cross-sectional area than the second sealing section 14b. A larger cross-sectional area, and thus a larger "threading area," ensures efficient window element guidance. Furthermore, the cross-sectional area of the second sealing section 14b can be smaller than that of the first sealing section 14a, thereby avoiding obstruction of the view, especially diagonally forward in the area of the vehicle pillar of the vehicle F.
[0032] The first sealing section 14a can be connected to the second sealing section. In one embodiment, this can be done by a connecting section (not shown in Fig. 1A und Fig. 1B shown), which allows a continuous transition from the first sealing portion 14a to the second sealing element 14b. In a further non-limiting example, the two sealing portions 14a, 14b can be brought into contact with each other by adhesive bonding or the like.
[0033] The first sealing section 14a extends horizontally along a first contour line L1. The second sealing section 14b extends vertically along a second contour line L2. It should be noted that the contour lines L1, L2 or the respective sealing sections 14a, 14b do not necessarily have to be exactly parallel to an indicated horizontal direction G1 or vertical direction G2. Rather, the terms "horizontal" and "vertical" should be understood to mean that the contour lines L1, L2 can also intersect the horizontal line G1 or the vertical line G2 at an angle of inclination or can be inclined or / and curved relative to it, at least in sections.
[0034] The first sealing section 14a and the second sealing section 14b can each accommodate at least one edge region of the first disc element 12a and one edge region of the further disc element 12b. Fig. 2A und Fig. 2B simplified and schematic sectional views of an embodiment of the sealing arrangement. Fig. 2A shows the sectional view in the first sealing section 14a along the Fig. 1B line marked by S1. Fig. 2B shows the sectional view in the second sealing section 14b along the Fig. 1B line marked by S2.
[0035] In the Fig. 2A und Fig. 2B In the example shown, the first sealing section 14a and the second sealing section 14b can each comprise a first sealing element 16a, 16c and at least one further sealing element 16b, 16d connected to the first sealing element 16a, 16c, which is illustrated schematically and in a simplified manner. The first sealing elements 16a, 16c and the further sealing elements 16b, 16c can further have sealing lips arranged such that they can accommodate the edge region of the first disc element 12a and the further disc element 12b between them. However, this embodiment is not restrictive, and further embodiments for the first sealing section 14a and the second sealing section 14b are possible.
[0036] In one embodiment, the first sealing section 14a and the second sealing section 14b can have a contact section K1, K2 that rests against the further disk element 12b or can be brought into contact with it.
[0037] The contact section K1 of the first sealing section 14a can have a different, in particular larger, contact surface than the contact section K2 of the second sealing section 14b. Due to the larger contact surface of the first sealing section 14a, which is provided, for example, by the above-described sealing elements 16a, 16b of the first sealing section 14a, a larger edge area of the further disk element 12b can be accommodated, as shown in Fig. 2A This enables efficient disc element guidance and sealing even at high speeds.
[0038] The contact section K2 of the second sealing section 14b, however, can have a smaller contact area, as in Fig. 2B The above-described sealing elements 16c, 16d of the second sealing section 14b can serve purely for sealing. The resulting smaller cross-sectional area of the second sealing section 14b can also prevent a restriction of visibility in the area of the vehicle pillar.
[0039] The further disc element 12b can be movable relative to the first disc element 12a, in particular away from or towards the first sealing section 14a and the second sealing section 14b. This is, as described above, in Fig. 1B shown, wherein the second disc element 12b moves away from the first disc element 12a and the first sealing portion 14a, which is illustrated by the arrow.
[0040] The first disc element 12a and the further disc element 12b can be aligned at an inclination to one another, so that a kink is formed in the region of the sealing arrangement 10.
[0041] As in Fig. 1A As shown, the first pane element 12a and the further pane element 12b can be arranged in the region of a vehicle door of the vehicle F.
[0042] The first disc element 12a can further be arranged in the region of a front vehicle pillar of the vehicle F. For example, the first disc element 14a can be firmly connected to a vehicle pillar, which is indicated by the dotted line in Fig. 1A und Fig. 1B is indicated in simplified form.
[0043] The Fig. 1A The example shown for a vehicle F with a sealing arrangement 10 described above is not limiting. The vehicle F can be configured differently and, for example, have four doors.
[0044] The further window element 12b is movably connected to a side door of the vehicle F.
[0045] Furthermore, the further pane element 12b can be at least partially recessed into the side door.
[0046] The first disc element 12a and the further disc element 12b are arranged relative to one another in such a way that a kink is formed in the region of the sealing arrangement 10 which is perceptible towards the outside of the vehicle F.
