AI Technical Summary
Existing door systems face challenges in achieving sufficient hermetic sealing, particularly in the foot area of the door leaf, due to the absence of a frame at the bottom and construction tolerances that prevent the seal from resting properly on the floor or threshold, leading to incomplete sealing.
The implementation of sealing elements on the narrow side of the door leaf facing the floor, combined with a frame profile that allows for adjustable installation to accommodate structural tolerances, ensures a continuous seal by using a sealing mold corner and a two-part frame profile design for precise alignment and attachment of the bottom seal.
This solution enables a complete and continuous seal around the door leaf, compensating for unevenness and tolerances, thereby achieving the desired air and gas permeability levels required for hermetic sealing.
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a door system, in particular a sliding door, with means for hermetic sealing in the closed state of the door, wherein sealing means are provided around the perimeter on the side of the door leaf facing the frame.
[0002] The present invention also relates to a door system, in particular a sliding door, with means for hermetic sealing in the closed state of the door, wherein the door leaf has a frame profile in the foot area for receiving the door leaf as well as the bottom seal and optionally floor guide means.
[0003] The term "door system" here refers to any type of door system, including window systems, gates, skylights and the like.
[0004] Hermetic doors are used whenever the gas permeability, and especially the air permeability, of a door system needs to be reduced when closed. A mechanism in the drive lowers the door leaf when closed and presses it against the frame. In conjunction with a continuous sealing system, this achieves reduced gas and, in particular, air permeability.
[0005] Since there is no frame at the bottom of the door leaf, but at most a threshold, sealing the door leaf in this area is difficult. Furthermore, due to construction tolerances, precise alignment of the door leaf to the specific installation situation is challenging. Particularly in the floor area, construction tolerances can lead to the seal not resting completely on the floor or threshold when closed, thus preventing the desired seal from being achieved in practice.
[0006] DE 20 2008 000657 U1 describes a hermetically sealed, tightly closing fire-resistant sliding door with at least one door leaf. Sealing elements extend completely along the edges of the door leaf.
[0007] EP 0 551 961 A1 describes a sliding door construction with a door to which sealing profiles made of flexible material are attached. The sealing profiles, which are attached to the top and bottom of the door, lie in a plane that is not parallel to the door.
[0008] NL 8 701 698 A describes a sliding door arrangement with one door leaf, wherein the sliding door arrangement has sealing elements. The sealing elements are designed to seal gaps between the door leaf and the wall or the floor.
[0009] The invention is based on the objective of further developing a door system of the type mentioned above in such a way that sufficient sealing is also achieved in the foot area of the door leaf.
[0010] This problem is solved by providing sealing elements in the foot area of the door leaf, which are arranged on the narrow side of the door leaf facing the floor.
[0011] By placing a seal on the narrow side of the door leaf facing the floor, sufficient sealing can in principle be ensured even without a threshold, or even slight unevenness in the floor can be compensated for.
[0012] The recess for the bottom seal is positioned offset from the recess for the door leaf towards the frame in such a way that the bottom seal is at the same height relative to the door leaf as the perimeter sealing elements on the side of the door leaf facing the frame. This allows for a continuous seal around the entire door leaf. It is particularly advantageous if the bottom seal and the perimeter sealing elements are directly adjacent to each other, as this ensures a complete seal.
[0013] According to the invention, a sealing mold corner is provided, one section of which forms part of the edge sealing means and the other section of which forms part of the bottom seal. In particular, the part of the sealing mold corner that forms part of the bottom seal has at least partially the same cross-sectional shape as the bottom seal (i.e., is essentially identical except for a plug-in section with which the corner is attached to the bottom seal). Likewise, the part of the sealing mold corner that forms part of the edge sealing means can be designed with at least partially the same cross-sectional shape as the edge sealing means (i.e., is essentially identical except for a plug-in section with which the corner is attached to the edge sealing means). This same design preferably applies not only to the external geometry but also to the internal structure of the cross-section (e.g.,(same number and arrangement of chambers). This allows for a continuous transition between the edge sealing materials and the bottom seal, resulting in a particularly good seal.
[0014] A frame profile is preferably used to accommodate the bottom seal and the door leaf at the bottom of the door sash. This is structurally simple and allows for easy installation.
[0015] According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the edge seal is designed as a three-chamber seal. Likewise, according to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the bottom seal is designed as a two-chamber seal. A suitable transition between the three-chamber seal and the two-chamber seal can be achieved by means of a suitably shaped sealing corner.
[0016] Furthermore, the invention is based on the objective of further developing a door system of the type mentioned above in such a way that a low gas permeability can be achieved despite structural tolerances.
[0017] This task is solved in a door system of the type mentioned above by the fact that the frame profile comprises a first profile part for receiving the door leaf and, if applicable, the floor guide means, as well as a separate second profile part for receiving the floor seal, which can be attached to the first profile part at different installation heights at the installation location of the door system.
[0018] The two-part design of the bottom-side frame profile allows the door system to be adapted to the specific structural conditions on site. In particular, any structural tolerances can be compensated for by mounting and attaching the second frame profile to the first profile section at the appropriate installation height on site.
[0019] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the second profile part can be screwed to the first profile part, in particular using self-tapping screws. This allows the second profile part to be easily fastened to the first profile part on site at a suitable installation height.
[0020] According to one embodiment of the invention, the second profile section has a downwardly open, undercut groove for receiving the bottom seal. This makes the installation of the bottom seal particularly easy and allows it to be carried out, in particular, after the final assembly of the second profile section onto the first.
[0021] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the second profile part has an upwardly projecting rib for connection with the first profile part. The second profile part can be easily brought into contact with the first profile part and connected to it via such a rib, in particular by means of self-tapping screws.
[0022] Preferably, a cover profile is also provided, which can be attached to the first and / or the second profile section. This allows the second profile section, including the seal receptacle and seal, to be completely covered, thus enabling a continuous and attractive design.
[0023] In a further embodiment of the invention, the first profile part has, on its side facing the second profile part, an upwardly angled rib located above the second profile part for hooking the cover profile, which is provided with a corresponding downwardly angled rib. This makes manufacturing particularly cost-effective and the installation of the cover profile particularly easy.
[0024] To achieve advantageous fixation of the cover profile to the frame profile, the second profile section is preferably provided on its side facing away from the first profile section with an upwardly projecting rib into which the cover profile can be inserted with a downwardly open pocket. Together with the aforementioned upwardly projecting rib for attaching the second profile section to the first profile section, this results in an H-shaped cross-section of the second profile section. This design allows for simple and secure attachment of the cover profile and also makes the second profile section particularly stable.
[0025] In a further embodiment of the invention, the upwardly projecting web of the second profile section, which serves to receive the pocket, is provided with several openings for fasteners, in particular cap screws with heads. This makes it possible to insert fasteners through the aforementioned web and screw them into or through the upwardly projecting web adjacent to the first profile section. For this purpose, the upwardly projecting web of the second profile section, which serves for attachment to the first profile section, can also be provided with several openings for passing through sections of fasteners, in particular the threaded section of cap screws. Thus, simple assembly of the second profile section onto the first profile section is possible by screwing in cap screws, in particular self-tapping cap screws.
[0026] The assembly process is further simplified if the openings in at least one of the two upward-projecting webs of the second profile section are designed as vertically oriented elongated holes. This makes it particularly easy to install the profile at different heights to compensate for on-site tolerances.
[0027] Exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawing and described below. They show, in schematic representation, Fig. 1 a first profile part of a frame profile according to the invention, Fig. 2 a second profile part with fastening screws of a frame profile according to the invention, Fig. 3 a cover profile according to the invention, Fig. 4 a vertical section through the lower section of a door system in the not yet hermetically sealed state, Fig. 5 a vertical section through the lower section of the door system of Fig. 4in a hermetically sealed state, Fig. 6 a perspective view of a part of a door system according to the invention, Fig. 7 a vertical section through a part of a door system according to the invention in an open state, Fig. 8 a representation according to Fig. 7 In the closed state of the door system, Fig. 9 shows an exploded view of the seals of a door system according to the invention, and Fig. 10 shows a sealing element of a door system according to the invention.
[0028] The in Fig. 1 The first profile part 1 of a frame profile according to the invention, as shown, has an H-shaped cross-section. It has an upper groove-shaped receptacle 2 for receiving the door leaf of the door assembly, and a lower groove-shaped receptacle 3 for receiving a floor guide. On an outer side facing the frame, the first profile part 1 is also provided with a beveled web 4 into which a cover profile, as described below, can be inserted.
[0029] The in Fig. 2The second profile section 5 shown is also H-shaped in cross-section. It has a downwardly open, undercut groove 6 for receiving a bottom seal (not shown). The second profile section 5 also has a first upwardly directed web 7, which can be brought into contact with the outer surface of the first profile section 1 facing the frame. Furthermore, the second profile section 5 has a second upwardly directed web 8, which serves for attaching a cover profile according to the invention, as described below. The second upwardly directed web is also provided with several vertically oriented elongated holes 9 through which cap screws 10, including their heads, can be passed. The first upwardly directed web 7 also has openings 11 through which the threaded section 12 of the cap screws 10 can be passed. In this way, the head screws 10 can be passed through the second upward-projecting web 8 and screwed through the first upward-projecting web in order to be screwed into the first profile part 1 for fastening.
[0030] The in Fig. 3The cover profile 13 according to the invention has a sloping roof section 14 and an adjoining vertical section 15. At the end facing away from the vertical section 15, the roof section 14 is provided with a downwardly angled web 16, which can be hooked into the web 4 of the first profile part 1. The vertical section 15 of the cover profile 13 has a pocket 17 on its inner side, which is formed by an angled profile section 17a. With this pocket 17, the cover profile 13 can be placed onto the second upwardly projecting web 8 of the second profile part 5. Thus, the cover profile 13 is hooked into the web 4 of the first profile part 1 on the one hand, and on the other hand, the cover profile 13 with its pocket 17 is slid onto the second upwardly projecting web 8 of the second profile part 5. In this way, complete coverage of the frame profile including the bottom seal can be achieved.
[0031] In the Figs. 4 and 5A frame profile according to the invention is shown again in the open and hermetically closed states. A door leaf 18, for example a glass pane, including a sealing element 19, is inserted into the upper receiving groove 2 of the first profile part 1. A floor guide profile 20 is inserted into the lower receiving groove 3 and fixed to a connecting profile 22 by means of a screw 21. On the side of the door facing the frame, a second profile part 5 according to the invention is attached to the first profile part 1 by means of screws 10. These can be self-tapping screws that are guided through openings 11 in the upwardly directed web 7 of the second profile part 5. A floor seal 23 is inserted into the downwardly open undercut groove 6 of the second profile part 5. Finally, a cover profile 13 is hooked into or placed onto the first profile part 1 and the second profile part 5, as described above. This allows the entire frame profile, including the bottom seal 23, to be covered, resulting in an attractive appearance.
[0032] How to compare the Figs. 4 and 5 Upon detection, the door assembly according to the invention is lowered for hermetic sealing and pulled towards the frame. This causes the bottom seal 23 to sit tightly against the floor or bottom profile 24. A sliding guide 25 is also shown on this bottom profile 24, which can serve to guide the sliding of the illustrated door.
[0033] The in Fig. 6 The door assembly shown comprises a door leaf 30 with a frame profile 31 of known design. The vertical profile struts 32 and the upper horizontal profile strut 33 are each provided on their side facing the frame with a groove 34 into which a circumferential sealing profile 35 is inserted. As can be seen in Fig. 6 As can be seen, separate corner profiles 35a are provided in the two upper corner areas.
[0034] In the foot area, the door leaf 30 is also provided with a cover profile 13 in this embodiment of the invention, which conceals a lower profile leg 36. As can be seen in the Fig. 7 and 8 If it is recognized that the lower profile leg 36 can be designed in the same way as in the embodiment of the Figs. 1 to 5 . That is, the profile leg 36 consists of a first profile part 1, which on the one hand accommodates the door leaf 18 and on the other hand a floor guide profile 20, as well as a second profile part 5, which has an undercut groove 6 facing the floor, into which a floor seal 23 is inserted.
[0035] How to get into the Fig. 7 and 8Furthermore, the bottom seal 23 extends at the same height as the perimeter sealing profiles 35 in relation to the frame. This makes it possible to connect all sealing profiles directly to one another, as is the case, for example, in Fig. 9 This is evident. Sealing corner pieces 37 are provided for connecting the perimeter sealing profiles 35 and the bottom seal 23, one of which is in Fig. 10 The image is shown enlarged. As can be seen, the sealing element 37 has a three-chamber sealing section 38 and a two-chamber sealing section 39. In this way, a continuous transition can be achieved between the three-chamber seal 35 circumferentially around the edge and the two-chamber seal 32 on the bottom.
[0036] By comparing the Fig. 7 and 8It can be seen how the circumferential seals 35 press against the frame 40 when the door is closed. It is also evident that the bottom seal 23 lowers onto the bottom profile 24, creating a seal when the door is closed. Overall, this ensures a hermetic seal.
[0037] The door system according to the invention makes it possible to achieve prescribed air permeability classes despite structural tolerances, both in new construction and modernization projects. Reference symbol list
