AI Technical Summary
Existing multi-component jars, particularly those made of mixed materials like aluminum and plastic, face complex and economically unfeasible recycling processes, often requiring the sacrifice of lower-grade materials to recycle the more valuable components.
The jar is designed with detachable form-fit, material-fit, or force-fit connections between its components, allowing for easy separation and individual recycling of parts, with a plastic content minimized to less than 10% and uniform recycling processes for the remaining components.
This design simplifies the recycling process by enabling separate recycling of components, maintaining an aesthetically uniform appearance while maximizing recyclable materials and minimizing non-recyclable content.
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a jar with a multi-part structure, comprising as components a shell jar, a product jar received in the shell jar for receiving a cream or the like, a jar collar connecting the product jar to the shell jar, and a jar weight arranged in a space formed between the product jar and the shell jar. wherein the outer pot and the product pot are made of the same or different materials, wherein interfaces are formed between the different components for separation, which are designed as detachable form-fit, material-fit, or force-fit connections, wherein a first connection is formed between the product pot and the pot collar and a second connection is formed between the pot collar and the outer pot, wherein the pot collar is connected to a support edge of the product pot via an upper collar edge to form the first connection and is supported by a lower support edge on the pot weight arranged in the outer pot. Pots of the type mentioned above are frequently designed as material hybrids, meaning that the pots, which are composed of a plurality of components, have components made of different materials. In the case of the crucibles mentioned at the beginning, these are mostly material hybrids or mixtures of aluminum and plastic. Therefore, especially when the respective material proportions exceed a certain threshold, effective recycling requires separating the materials. This separation often proves to be very complex, and particularly when separation is not economically feasible, the lower-grade or less valuable material is sacrificed to enable the recycling of the more valuable component. This can be achieved, for example, by melting down crucibles containing both aluminum and plastic components for recycling, in which case the materials are separated through combustion or gasification of the plastic component.
[0002] For example, two different approaches make it possible to recycle a multi-component jar as comprehensively as possible: in the first approach, the jar is designed so that the individual components can be separated from each other in the simplest possible way; in the second approach, the aim is to have the lowest possible plastic content in order to minimize the non-recyclable part of the jar when sacrificing the plastic material.
[0003] From US 7,913,866 B2, a crucible of the type mentioned above is known, which, in addition to the first connection between the product crucible and the crucible collar, has the second connection between the crucible collar and the outer crucible designed in such a way that the connection is made by means of an expanding sleeve arranged between the crucible collar and the outer crucible, wherein the crucible collar is supported on a crucible weight arranged inside the expanding sleeve, such that a height offset visible on the outer contour remains between a shoulder formed on the crucible collar and an edge of the outer crucible.
[0004] The present invention is therefore based on the objective of proposing a crucible that enables simplified recycling of the materials used or is characterized by a particularly high proportion of recyclable materials, but which, despite a material interface formed between the outer crucible and the crucible collar, has an aesthetically uniform appearance.
[0005] To solve this problem, the crucible according to the invention has the features of the patent claim.
[0006] According to the invention, the crucible has interfaces for separating the different components, which are designed as detachable form-fitting, material-fitting or force-fitting connections, so that the crucible according to the invention does not have to be sent to a recycling process in its entirety, but rather, due to the interfaces, the components can be divided before recycling for subsequent feeding of the components to different recycling processes or, if necessary, for separation of non-recyclable materials or materials that can only be recycled with very high effort from materials with comparatively better recyclability.
[0007] Separating the components is also advantageous if only one component is to be recycled, i.e., dissolved and returned to its original form, while the other component is to be reused while retaining its shape. In this case, the components can also be made of the same material.
[0008] The crucible according to the invention also offers the possibility of reducing a material component, i.e., a plastic component, to the smallest possible level, i.e., less than 10 percent, and of selecting a uniform recycling process for the remaining components, particularly in the case where these consist of a uniform material, such as aluminum.
[0009] In any case, the crucible according to the invention thus enables a simplification of crucible recycling.
[0010] According to the invention, the crucible has a crucible collar connecting the product crucible to the outer crucible and a crucible weight arranged in a space formed between the product crucible and the outer crucible, wherein a first connection is formed between the product crucible and the crucible collar and a second connection is formed between the crucible collar and the outer crucible, so that it is possible to produce a complexly designed crucible from different materials, which can optionally be separated from each other at defined connection points.
[0011] According to the invention, the crucible collar is connected to a support edge of the product crucible via an upper collar edge to form the first connection and is supported with a lower support edge on the crucible weight arranged in the outer crucible, so that the crucible weight itself can be used to connect the components.
[0012] According to the invention, the crucible collar is connected to the outer crucible via a shoulder formed around the circumference of the crucible collar to a connecting edge formed on the outer crucible, such that a transition surface formed on the shoulder is flush with an edge of the outer crucible formed on the connecting edge, so that an aesthetically uniform appearance is possible despite the material interface formed between the outer crucible and the crucible collar.
[0013] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
[0014] They show: Fig. 1 A first embodiment of a crucible in isometric view; Fig. 2 the in Fig. 1 Crucible shown in exploded view; Fig. 3 a cross-sectional view of the in Fig. 1 depicted crucible according to section line III-III; Fig. 4 a cross-sectional view of the in Fig. 1 depicted crucible according to section line IV-IV; Fig. 5 an embodiment of a crucible in isometric representation, which does not belong to the present invention; Fig. 6 the in Fig. 5 Crucible shown in exploded view; Fig. 7 the in Fig. 1 depicted crucible with a product crucible taken from the outer crucible; Fig. 8 a cross-sectional view of the in Fig. 5 depicted crucible; Fig. 9 a side view of the in Fig. 5 depicted crucible; Fig. 10 an embodiment of a crucible in isometric representation, which does not belong to the present invention; Fig. 11 the in Fig. 10 depicted crucible with a product crucible taken from the outer crucible; Fig. 12 a cross-sectional view of the in Fig. 10 depicted crucible; Fig. 13 the in Fig. 10 Crucible shown in exploded view.
[0015] In the Fig. 1 bis 4 A crucible 20 is shown, which is designed in multiple parts and in the case of the illustrated embodiment has four crucible components, namely a product crucible 21, a shell crucible 22, a crucible collar 23 connecting the product crucible to the shell crucible and a crucible weight 25 arranged in the shell crucible 22 in a space 24 formed between the product crucible 21 and the shell crucible 22.
[0016] The crucible collar 23 is connected at an upper collar edge 26 to a support edge 27 formed at the upper edge of the product crucible 21 and rests with its lower support edge 28 on the crucible weight 25 arranged in the outer crucible 22, which surrounds the product crucible 21 in a sleeve-like manner.
[0017] The connection between the crucible collar 23 and the outer crucible 22 is provided at a shoulder 30 formed around the crucible collar 23, whereby by supporting the crucible collar 23 with its support edge 28 on the crucible weight 25, it is achieved that a connecting edge 29 formed on the outer crucible 22 is flush with a transition surface 31 formed by the shoulder 30.
[0018] As can be seen from the above explanations, the following are required to produce the product described in the Fig. 1 bis 4 The crucible 20 shown requires only two connections 32, 33: the connection 32 between the product crucible 21 and the crucible collar 23, and the connection 33 between the crucible collar 23 and the outer crucible 22. Both connections 32 and 33 can optionally be press-fit, adhesive bond, or welded. Furthermore, an additional connection between the outer crucible 22 and the crucible weight 25 can be provided, which can also be press-fit, adhesive bond, or welded.
[0019] As can be seen particularly from a synthesis of the Fig. 3 und 4 As can be seen, the relative arrangement of the crucible collar 23 to the outer crucible 22, by means of a support of the crucible collar 23 on the crucible weight 25 arranged in the outer crucible 22, enables alignment of the crucible collar; in particular the flush arrangement described above between the transition surface 31 and the connecting edge 29 of the outer crucible 22, and furthermore a simple adaptation of the contour of the crucible collar 23 to the contour of the outer crucible 22, without requiring a precise adaptation of the contour of the support edge 28 of the crucible collar 23 to a bearing edge 35 of the crucible weight 25. The connection between the crucible collar 23 and the crucible weight 25 can be effected in particular by gluing or welding.
[0020] The outer crucible 22 can therefore have complex cross-sectional transitions in its contour without requiring an adaptation of the crucible collar 23 to the contour of the outer crucible 22. In the present case, the contour of the outer crucible 22 is designed such that a circular cross-section formed at the connecting edge 29 of the outer crucible transitions continuously into a cross-section with alternating radii formed at the lower edge 34 of the outer crucible 22 in the transition to the crucible base 36.
[0021] The design of the crucible collar 23 provided for the crucible 20, which is independent of the design of the product crucible 21 and the outer crucible 22, has the additional advantage that a crucible thread 37 formed on the crucible collar 23 can be produced independently of the product crucible 21 and outer crucible 22 in a separate forming process.
[0022] A crucible 40 according to an embodiment that does not belong to the invention is in the Fig. 5 bis 9 depicted.
[0023] As especially from Fig. 6 As can be seen, the crucible 40 is composed of a number of components, whereby, as can be seen in particular from a review of the Fig. 6 und 7 It becomes clear that a product crucible 42, designed as an exchangeable crucible and contained in a shell crucible 41, is composed of an inner crucible 43, an outer crucible 44 and a crucible collar 45 connecting the inner crucible 43 with the outer crucible 44.
[0024] How in particular Fig. 8 As shown, a first connection 46 for connecting the inner crucible 43 with the crucible collar 45 is formed between an upper opening edge 47 of the inner crucible 43 and a collar edge 48 of the crucible collar 45, and a second connection 49 is provided between an opening edge 50 of the outer crucible 44 and connecting tabs 51 formed at the lower edge of the crucible collar 45.
[0025] The outer pot 41 has an inner pot 53 contained within an outer pot 52, the outer pot 52 being composed of a pot shell 54 and a pot base 55. A first connection 56 is formed between an upper edge 57 of the inner pot 53 and an opening edge 58 of the pot shell 54, and a second connection 59 is formed between a lower edge 60 of the pot shell 54 and connecting tabs 61 arranged on the pot base 55. The connections 56 and 59, as well as the connections 46 and 49, can be formed as press-fit, adhesive, or welded joints.
[0026] A detachable connecting device 62 is provided between the product pot 42 and the outer pot 41. This device is designed as a snap-fit connection and includes a form-elastic snap element, which in this case is formed by an annular spring element 63. The shape of this spring element is adapted to the circumference of the inner pot 53 of the outer pot 41 and rests against a pot wall 71 of the inner pot 53 facing the outer pot 53. In this case, the spring element has a total of four spring projections 64, each of which passes through a recess 65 in the pot wall 71. The recesses 65 are arranged on opposite sides of the pot wall 71 in a horizontal connecting plane 66.
[0027] As the Fig. 6 und 8 As shown, the outer pot 44 of the product pot 42 has locking grooves 68 in a connecting plane 67 in an arrangement corresponding to the recesses 65. When the product pot 42 is inserted into the outer pot 41, the spring projections 64 of the spring element 63 are pushed radially outwards upon contact with a pot base 69 of the product pot 42 and engage in the locking grooves 68 when the connecting planes 66, 67 are aligned, so that the product pot 42 is releasably locked in the outer pot 41. By applying a tensile force opposite to the insertion movement to the pot collar 45, the product pot 42 can be removed from the outer pot 41 by overcoming the spring force of the spring element 63.
[0028] How in particular the Fig. 9 As shown, locking grooves 70 corresponding to the locking grooves 68 are provided at the upper edge of the crucible collar 45, so that, with appropriate design, a screw cap (not shown in detail here) can be provided between the screw cap and the crucible collar 45, and a connecting device corresponding to the connecting device 62 can be provided.
[0029] In the Fig. 10 bis 13 In an embodiment not belonging to the invention, a crucible 80 is shown, which has a product crucible 81 designed as an exchangeable crucible, which is received in an inner crucible 82 of a shell crucible 83. The shell crucible 83 has a crucible collar 84 formed independently of the inner crucible 82 and an outer crucible 85, wherein a first connection 86 is formed between the crucible collar 84 and the inner crucible 82 and a second connection 87 is formed between the crucible collar 84 and the outer crucible 85.
[0030] A space 88 is formed between the inner crucible 82 and the outer crucible 85, in which a crucible weight 89 is arranged. The crucible weight 89, which is arranged with a lower rim 90 on a crucible base 91 of the outer crucible 85, has an upper rim 92 that serves on the one hand to support a support rim 93 of the inner crucible 82 and on the other hand to support a support rim 94 of the crucible collar 84.
[0031] The crucible collar 84 is provided at the support edge 94 with a rim 95 directed towards the crucible base 91, which is received in a recess 96 formed adjacent to the support edge 93 of the inner crucible 82 and corresponding to the rim 95. This creates a flush transition from the rim 95 to the inner crucible 82 on an inner surface 97 of the outer crucible 83 facing the product crucible 81.
[0032] How in particular Fig. 12 As shown, the product crucible 81 is arranged with a support edge 98 on the support edge 94 of the crucible collar 84 belonging to the outer crucible 83, wherein the support edge 98 has a rim shoulder 100 spaced apart from the support edge 94 of the outer crucible to form a radially outwardly open annular gap 99.
[0033] As can be seen particularly from a synthesis of the Fig. 10 and 11 It becomes clear that the product pot 81 is removable and contained within the outer pot 83, whereby the in Fig. 12 The annular gap 99 shown provides the possibility of grasping the edge shoulder 100 formed on the product crucible 81 and pulling the product crucible 81 out of the inner crucible 82 of the outer crucible 83. This is shown particularly in the exploded view in Fig. 13 As can be seen, a radial material projection 101 is formed on the inner pot 82 of the outer pot 83, which enables the formation of a radial clamping force between the inner pot 82 of the outer pot 83 and the product pot 81, which requires a defined tensile force to remove the product pot 81, which is positively locked in the outer pot 83, from the outer pot 83 in order to prevent the product pot 81 from unintentionally slipping out of the outer pot 83.
[0034] Both the aforementioned connections 86, 87 of the crucible collar 84 with the inner crucible 82 and the outer crucible 85 of the outer crucible 83, as well as a radial connection of the crucible weight 89 with the crucible collar 84, can, depending on the design, be purely force-fit or alternatively or additionally implemented as an adhesive or welded connection, wherein, for the force-fit connection of the crucible weight 89 with the crucible collar 84, the crucible weight is connected with a, in particular, in Fig. 13The illustrated gap 102 is provided, which allows the sleeve-shaped crucible weight 89 to be designed in the manner of a spring sleeve, so that a preload force is formed on the circumference of the crucible weight 89 between the crucible collar 84 and the crucible weight 89.
