[0001] The present invention relates to a kit for a sliding door fitting with a guide rail that can be mounted on a furniture body and a mounting plate that can be mounted on a sliding door and on which a support is slidably held, wherein a holding device is provided on the support, to which a guide element that can be brought into engagement with the guide rail is fixed in order to guide the sliding door along the guide rail, and to a method for converting a sliding door fitting.

Claims

1. Kit for a sliding door fitting having a guide rail (6) that can be mounted on a furniture body (2) and a mounting plate (30) that can be mounted on a sliding door (3, 4), on which a carrier (8, 8', 9, 9', 9") is held in a displaceable manner, wherein a holding device (10) is provided on the carrier (8, 8', 9, 9', 9") to which a guide element that can be brought into engagement with the guide rail (6) is fixed in order to guide the sliding door (3, 4) along the guide rail (6), characterized in that the kit comprises, as a guide element, a rotatable roller (11) and a sliding element (20) which can be mounted selectively and detachably on the holding device (10).

Method for converting a sliding door fitting for guiding a sliding door (3, 4) along a guide rail (6), wherein a mounting plate (30) is fixed to the sliding door (3, 4) and a carrier (8, 8', 9, 9', 9") with a holding device (10) is held displaceably on the mounting plate (30), wherein a guide element in engagement with the guide rail (6) is fixed to the holding device (10) and is designed as a sliding element (20), comprising the following steps of: - removing the sliding element (20) from the holding device (10), and - fixing a rotatable roller (11) to the holding device (10).
