Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a sanitary fitting which can be used in particular in connection with sinks and / or wash basins.

[0002] Sanitary fittings are used in sinks, wash basins, bathtubs, and / or showers to provide a liquid, especially water, as needed. For this purpose, sanitary fittings may have a housing with a spout and an outlet opening for the liquid. The housing of the sanitary fitting can be attached to a support, such as a countertop or a sink or wash basin. Furthermore, sanitary fittings may have a mixing valve or a mixing cartridge, which allows cold and hot water to be mixed to produce mixed water at a desired temperature.

[0003] Sanitary fittings are also known that can be used to dispense various liquids, such as mixed water, carbonated liquid, flavored liquid, filtered liquid, chilled liquid, and / or hot water. To convey the various liquids from their respective sources to the outlet, multiple liquid lines are required, running parallel to one another through the fitting body and / or the outlet. This results in a significant amount of space being required for the liquid lines, which limits the design freedom of the fitting bodies and outlets. Furthermore, the individual liquids can be dispensed via separate outlet openings on the sanitary fittings or via a mousseur on the sanitary fittings, so that they do not come into contact with one another or mix with one another prior to dispensing. If a large number of liquids can be dispensed, a correspondingly high number of outlet openings must be provided or a mousseur must have a correspondingly high number of separate liquid channels, which increases the complexity of the sanitary fitting or the mousseur.

[0004] From US2022049479A a sanitary fitting according to the preamble of claim 1 is known.

[0005] The object of the invention is therefore to at least partially solve the problems described with reference to the prior art and in particular to provide a sanitary fitting through which different or multiple liquids can be guided to the outlet opening with less space required and which has a lower complexity.

[0006] These objects are achieved with a sanitary fitting according to the features of the independent patent claim. Further advantageous embodiments of the sanitary fitting are specified in the dependent patent claims. It should be noted that the features listed individually in the dependent patent claims can be combined with one another in any technologically expedient manner and define further embodiments of the invention. Furthermore, the features listed in the patent claims are further specified and explained in the description, with further preferred embodiments of the invention being presented.

[0007] A sanitary fitting that has at least the following components contributes to this: a fitting housing with an outlet and at least one outlet opening; a hose with at least a first lumen for carrying a first liquid, a second lumen for carrying a second liquid, and a third lumen for carrying a third liquid; and an adapter with at least a first inlet for the first lumen, a second inlet for the second lumen, and a third inlet for the third lumen, wherein the first inlet and the second inlet open into a first outlet of the adapter, and wherein the third inlet opens into a second outlet of the adapter.

[0008] The sanitary fitting is used in particular for the demand-based provision of liquids, such as water, to sinks and / or wash basins. The sanitary fitting comprises a fitting housing, which can in particular be made at least partially of plastic and / or (cast) metal, such as brass. The fitting housing can be fastened to a support, for example a worktop, the sink or wash basin, and / or has a (protruding or branching) outlet that is rigidly or movably connected to the fitting housing. The outlet can be at least partially tubular and / or has at least one outlet opening. The at least one outlet opening can, for example, be designed in the manner of a jet former or mousseur.

[0009] The sanitary fitting has a hose. The hose can extend at least partially through the fitting housing and / or the outlet. The hose has, in particular, a round cross-section. The hose is, in particular, made at least partially of a material approved and / or suitable for drinking water. The hose material can have at least one, several, or even all of the following properties: be temperature-resistant at -40 °C to 200 °C [Celsius]; be translucent; be elastic; have a hardness of 70 to 85 Shore A; have a density of 1.22 g / cm 3 < [grams per cubic centimeter] to 1.26 g / cm 3 < , preferably (approximately) 1.24 g / cm 3 <; have a tear strength of 8.6 N / mm 2 < [Newtons per square millimeter] to 8.8 N / mm 2 < , preferably (approximately) 8.7 N / mm 2 <; have an elongation at break of 390% to 410%, preferably (approximately) 400%; and / or have a tear propagation strength of 30 N / mm [Newtons per square millimeter] to 34 N / mm, preferably (approximately) 32 N / mm.

[0010] The tube has at least a first lumen for conducting a first liquid from a first liquid source to the outlet opening, a second lumen for conducting a second liquid from a second liquid source to the outlet opening, and a third lumen for conducting a third liquid from a third liquid source to the outlet opening. In addition, the tube can have at least one further lumen for conducting at least one further liquid from at least one further liquid source. The lumens are each, in particular, a (tubular) liquid channel that extends through the tube from a first longitudinal end of the tube to a second longitudinal end of the tube. The first longitudinal end of the tube can be connected to the first liquid source, second liquid source, and third liquid source (and optionallythe at least one further liquid source). Alternatively, the first longitudinal end of the hose can be connected to a distributor device for the at least one first liquid source, second liquid source and third liquid source (and optionally for the at least one further liquid source). The distributor device can be connected to the first liquid source, second liquid source and third liquid source (and optionally the at least one further liquid source). The distributor device can be arranged outside the fitting housing and / or the outlet. The individual lumens run in particular parallel to one another through the hose. The lumens are in particular (jointly) formed in one piece by the material of the hose. The lumens in particular do not run concentrically to one another. The hose can be designed in the manner of a multi-lumen hose orMulti-lumen tube and / or not rotationally symmetrical.

[0011] The first liquid can be, for example, mixed water and / or the first liquid source can be, for example, a mixing valve or a mixing cartridge. By means of the mixing valve or the mixing cartridge, in particular cold water with a cold water temperature and hot water with a hot water temperature can be mixed to form the mixed water with a desired mixed water temperature. The cold water temperature is in particular a maximum of 25°C, preferably 1°C to 25°C, particularly preferably 5°C to 20°C and / or the hot water temperature is in particular a maximum of 90°C, preferably 25°C to 90°C, particularly preferably 55°C to 65°C. The mixing valve or the mixing cartridge can be arranged in the fitting housing of the sanitary fitting. The second liquid, the third liquid, and / or the at least one further liquid can be, for example, drinking water, mixed water, cold water, hot water, carbonated liquid, flavored liquid, filtered liquid, chilled liquid (for example, with a cooling water temperature of 1°C to 10°C), and / or hot water (for example, with a hot water temperature of 90°C to 100°C). For example, the second liquid can be hot water, and the third liquid can be filtered liquid or filtered water.

[0012] The hose allows at least three liquids to be supplied separately from one another through a single hose to the at least one outlet opening, thereby reducing the space required in the fitting housing or the outlet. The hose can have an outer diameter of, for example, 12 mm to 18 mm, preferably 14 mm to 15 mm. A first cross section of the first lumen can be semicircular. The first cross section is in particular aligned orthogonally to a longitudinal axis of the hose. A second cross section of the second lumen and / or a third cross section of the third lumen can be part-circular. The at least one further lumen can be part-circular. In particular, the second cross section of the second lumen and / or the third cross section of the third lumen can be quarter-circular.The second cross-section and / or the third cross-section are in particular aligned orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the hose.

[0013] The first lumen is separated from the second lumen, the third lumen, and / or the at least one further lumen, in particular by a first partition. The second lumen, third lumen, and / or the at least one further lumen are separated from one another, in particular, by at least one second partition. The first partition has, in particular, a first thickness of, for example, 1 mm to 1.5 mm, and / or the second partition has, in particular, a second thickness of, for example, 1 mm to 1.5 mm.

[0014] The first lumen, second lumen, third lumen, and / or the at least one further lumen can each have an inner wall oriented toward the outer surface of the tube with a lumen radius. The lumen radius can be, for example, 4 mm to 8 mm, preferably 5 mm to 6 mm, particularly preferably (approximately) 5.5 mm.

[0015] First corners of a first cross-section of the first lumen, second corners of a second cross-section of the second lumen, and / or third corners of a third cross-section of the third lumen can have a radius of 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm. Preferably, the radius can be (approximately) 0.5 mm. This allows the flow resistance of the fluid in the lumen to be reduced without excessively reducing the lumen cross-sectional area of the individual lumens.

[0016] The sanitary fitting comprises an adapter with at least a first inlet for the first lumen, a second inlet for the second lumen, and a third inlet for the third lumen. The adapter may have one, several, or even all of the following features: consist at least partially of plastic and / or metal, such as brass; be designed in the manner of a plastic injection-molded part; be formed in one piece; have at least one further inlet for the at least one further lumen; have a number of inlets that corresponds to a number of lumens of the tube; extend along a longitudinal axis; (in particular parallel to the longitudinal axis) have a length of 10 mm to 60 mm; (in particular orthogonal to the longitudinal axis) have a diameter of 5 mm to 50 mm; have a round circumferential surface; have a first external thread or first internal thread.

The connection between the hose and the adapter can be designed, for example, in the form of a plug-in connection, clamp connection, adhesive connection, screw connection, and / or bayonet connection.

[0018] The first inlet and the second inlet open into a first outlet. Thus, the first inlet and the second inlet open into a common first outlet. The first liquid and the second liquid can thereby flow into the first outlet and / or leave the adapter via the first outlet. The third inlet opens into a second outlet of the adapter. The third liquid can thereby flow into the second outlet and / or leave the adapter via the second outlet. Via the first outlet of the adapter, the first liquid and the second liquid can be fed in particular to a (common) first outlet opening of the sanitary fitting or at least to a (common) first liquid channel of a mousseur of the sanitary fitting. Via the second outlet of the adapter, the third liquid can be fed in particular to a second outlet opening of the sanitary fitting or at least to a second liquid channel of the mousseur of the sanitary fitting. The adapter can have at least one more inlet than outlets. At least some of the inlets can lead into at least one common outlet. The adapter can thus reduce the number of outlet openings of the sanitary fitting and / or the number of (particularly separate) fluid channels in the mousseur.

[0019] The first inlet can be designed in the form of a first connection nipple, the second inlet in the form of a second connection nipple, and the third inlet in the form of a third connection nipple, wherein the tube with the first lumen is plugged onto the first connection nipple, with the second lumen onto the second connection nipple, and with the third lumen onto the third connection nipple. The at least one further inlet can be designed in the form of at least one further connection nipple, wherein the tube with the at least one further lumen can be plugged onto the at least one further connection nipple. The connection nipples can, in particular, be tubular and / or extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the adapter. The connection nipples can, for example, have a connection nipple length of 1 mm to 15 mm (in particular parallel to the longitudinal axis). Outer contours of the connection nipples can be congruent with inner contours of the lumens.

[0020] The first outlet of the adapter and the second outlet of the adapter can be coaxial with each other.

[0021] The first outlet of the adapter can extend around the second outlet of the adapter. The first outlet can be at least partially configured as an annular channel, at least partially have a straight path, and / or extend at least partially parallel to the longitudinal axis.
