Description
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of anomaly management systems for an electric current and more particularly to the field of circuit breaker, block or modular differential switch type systems for managing anomaly in an electric current such as overload, short circuit and / or residual current.
[0002] In residential installations, current mechanisms for managing electrical faults within a home, building, or establishment take the form of a switching system that carries the electrical current upstream of its distribution. This switching system typically comprises, on the one hand, input interfaces for the electrical current from the building's external network and, on the other hand, a number of identical interfaces for the output of the electrical current to the building's internal network. The switching system connects to the external network via an interface with several pairs of connectors configured to interact with dedicated busbars or jumper bars, which are low-impedance conductive structures suitable for electrical distribution. These jumper bars are made in the form of at least one pair of combs arranged parallel to each other, each dedicated to connecting the neutral and each of the phases. Each of these combs includes a connecting rail made of an insulating material and bearing a plurality of connection points in the form of teeth spaced apart from its counterparts, so that the jumper bars have a general appearance of a pin or a comb. The connection points of these jumper bars are then designed to interact with the connectors of the switching system through a male-female type of interaction, achieved by inserting teeth of the jumper bars into these connectors. A modular assembly incorporating an electromechanical system for interrupting an electric current is notably described in document FR 2 938 130 A1.
[0003] When installing a circuit breaker, it is connected, on one side, to a jumper bar dedicated to the neutral current and, on the other side, to at least one jumper bar dedicated to the phase current, these bars being arranged parallel to each other. The multiple connection points along the jumper bars allow for the installation of several identical circuit breaker mechanisms mounted side-by-side on these bars. The arrangement of these mechanisms then depends on the spacing between the teeth of these jumper bars.
[0004] Technologically, two types of busbars are identified. The first type, with a larger spacing between consecutive teeth for transmitting neutral or phase current, and featuring forked tooth connections, is primarily used in Germanic countries. Conversely, the second type, with a smaller spacing between consecutive teeth for transmitting neutral or phase current, and featuring tab-shaped tooth connections, is mainly used in Latin countries. The dimensions of the breaking mechanisms are then specific to the busbars to which they are designed to be connected. This is why, in Germanic countries, the breaking mechanisms are designed with larger dimensions, in addition to their specific connectors.
[0005] However, in countries adopting the Germanic standard, when optimizing the number of networks associated with switching mechanisms on the same length of busbar, the specific spacing between two consecutive teeth for transmitting the same current in these standard busbars becomes restrictive. The solution then consists of replacing these busbars with excessive spacing with busbars conforming to the Latin standard, which have a reduced spacing, while also using suitable switching mechanisms that, firstly, have a reduced width and, secondly, feature additional tab-shaped connectors specific to these replacement busbars.
[0006] However, while this solution allows for an increased number of mechanisms along the same length of busbar, it presents two drawbacks. Indeed, this solution, which relies on the introduction of a new standard, eliminates, at least in situations where space constraints are a problem, the use of a culturally established technological standard. Furthermore, when adding networks with a disconnecting mechanism to saturated German-standard busbars, replacing the distribution busbar with a new standard is mandatory. Finally, electricians or electrical network installers must have each type of busbar on hand. This proliferation of standard models also tends to complicate the work of the technician.
[0007] The present invention aims to overcome these various disadvantages by proposing a solution which optimizes, along the same length of jumper bar, the number of circuits or networks associated with switching mechanisms without intervening on existing jumper bar references used due to technological or cultural standards.
[0008] The invention thus relates to a modular assembly as detailed in the statement of main claim 1.
[0009] The invention will be better understood from the following description, which relates to various preferred embodiments, given by way of non-limiting example, and explained with reference to the accompanying schematic drawings, in which: [ Fig. 1 [ ] represents a first electrical diagram of an electromechanical interruption system for a modular assembly according to the invention, in which differential current measuring devices are specific to each of the electrical networks positioned at the output. [0010] It should be noted that, at figures 3, 4 And 7In this document, for the purposes of illustration, the connection points of the bridging bar are shown as tabs. However, bridging bars of the type available in Germanic countries have toothed connections that create forked-shaped connection points.
[0011] The invention relates to a modular assembly which notably incorporates an electromechanical system for interrupting an electric current exhibiting an overload anomaly and / or a short circuit and / or a residual current, comprising: at least one set 2 of current input connection terminals 2a, 2b comprising at least, on the one hand, a connection terminal 2a dedicated to phase current and, on the other hand, a connection terminal 2b dedicated to neutral current, at least one thermal relay 3 and / or an electromagnetic relay 4 and / or a differential current measuring device 5 coupled to a switch, so that the interrupting system 1 also includes at least two sets 6 of output current connection terminals, each comprising at least one connection terminal 6a dedicated to phase current and one connection terminal 6b dedicated to neutral current, so that, on the one hand, each output phase current connection terminal 6a is connected to the input phase current connection terminal 2a at a common node 7a and, on the other hand, each output neutral current connection terminal 6b is connected to the input neutral current connection terminal 2b at a common node 7b.
[0012] The electromechanical interrupting system 1 of the invention thus provides several sets 6 of current output connection terminals, which together form several connection interfaces for different electrical circuits or networks positioned at the output. Several circuits or electrical networks positioned at the output can then be connected to a common electromechanical interrupting system 1. The respective terminals 6a, 6b of these different sets 6 of current output connection terminals are connected to the terminals 2a, 2b of a single current input connection set 2 via one or more current interruption mechanisms implemented by a thermal relay 3 and / or a magnetic relay 4 and / or a differential current measuring device 5 coupled to a switch.
[0013] The electromechanical interrupting system 1 of the invention thus allows, by means of dedicated nodes 7a, 7b, the parallel connection of electrical circuits or networks positioned at the output. This parallel connection makes it possible to connect several electrical circuits or networks to the same connection point 9 on a jumper bar 8. Furthermore, thanks to the electromechanical interrupting system 1 of the invention, without replacing the jumper bar 8, it is possible to overcome the constraint related to the spacing between consecutive connection points 9 arranged on the jumper bar 8 and intended for the transmission of the same neutral or phase current, thereby increasing the number of electrical circuits or networks associated with switching mechanisms over the same length of jumper bar 8.These mechanisms for interrupting the flow of electric current are implemented by a thermal relay 3 and / or an electromagnetic relay 4 and / or a differential current measuring device 5 coupled to a switch. It should be noted that, in the electromechanical interruption system 1 of the invention, between at least one set 6 of current output connection terminals 6a, 6b and the set 2 of current input connection terminals 2a, 2b, when the system 1 comprises several mechanisms for interrupting the flow of electric current 3, 4, 5, these different interruption mechanisms 3, 4, 5 are arranged in series along the electrical junction between, on the one hand, the connection terminals 2a, 2b of the current input set 2 and, on the other hand, the current output connection terminals 6a, 6b.
[0014] According to a first particular construction example, the set 2 of current input connection terminals and the sets 6 of current output connection terminals are positioned at opposite faces of the electromechanical interrupting system 1. This construction example allows, on the one hand, for discrimination of the connection terminals for the user and thus facilitates the assembly of the device and, on the other hand, for the elimination of the bulk that may exist due to the presence of a jumper bar 8 positioned at one of the faces of the system of the invention.
[0015] According to another particular embodiment, each set 6 of output connection terminals 6a, 6b is associated with a thermal relay 3 and / or a magnetic relay 4 and / or a differential current measuring device 5 coupled to a switch. According to this particular embodiment, the electromechanical interrupting system 1 of the invention comprises one or more electrical current interruption mechanisms positioned between the output connection terminals 6a, 6b and the connection nodes 7a, 7b. The electromechanical interrupting system 1 is thus configured so that the current interruption occurs independently at each of the sets 6 of output connection terminals 6a, 6b.The detection of an anomaly at the level of one of the electrical circuits or networks positioned at the output triggers an interruption of the current on the circuit without this impacting the other circuits connected at the output of the electromechanical interruption system 1 of the invention.
[0016] According to another specific construction example, a thermal relay 3 and / or an electromagnetic relay 4 and / or a differential current measuring device 5 coupled to a switch is associated with the set 2 of current input connection terminals 2a, 2b between these input connection terminals 2a, 2b and the junction nodes 7a, 7b at the respective terminals of each set 6 of output connection terminals 6a, 6b. According to this specific construction example, the electromechanical interrupting system 1 is configured such that the current interruption occurs in a common manner at all 6 sets of output connection terminals 6a, 6b.The detection of an anomaly at the level of one of the electrical circuits or networks positioned at the output of the interruption system 1 of the invention activates one of the interruption mechanisms 3, 4, 5 which operates a cut-off of all the electrical current flows which pass through the electromechanical interruption system 1 of the invention.
[0017] It should be noted that the particular construction examples detailed above do not present any technical incompatibility. Indeed, according to different construction variants, the electromechanical interruption system 1 of the invention is likely to include, on the one hand, one or more switching mechanisms positioned between the output connection terminals 6a, 6b and the connection nodes 7a, 7b and, on the other hand, one or more switching mechanisms positioned between the input connection terminals 2a, 2b and the connection nodes 7a, 7b.Therefore, according to these different construction variants, among the thermal relay 3 and / or the electromagnetic relay 4 and / or the differential current measuring device 5, on the one hand, one or more of the breaking mechanisms are specific to a set 6 of output connection terminals 6a, 6b and, on the other hand, one or more of the breaking mechanisms are common to all sets 6 of output connection terminals 6a, 6b. These different construction variants thus make it possible to implement electromechanical interrupting systems 1 arranged to perform electrical current interruptions that are discriminating according to the type of anomaly detected on one or more electrical circuits or networks located at the output of the interrupting system 1.
[0018] According to another specific embodiment of the invention, the electromechanical switching system 1 is integrated into an insulating housing adapted for mounting on a support and comprising at least two faces with openings adapted for positioning assemblies 2, 6 of input connectors 2a, 2b or output connectors 6a, 6b of electric current. Each housing incorporating a system 1 according to the invention thus constitutes a modular block intended to be connected to connection points 9 carried by one or more jumper bars 8. On the jumper bar, the spacing between two consecutive connection points 9 intended for the transmission of an identical current, neutral or phase, has a width that varies according to the technological standard of the jumper bar or set of jumper bars 8 used.On the modular block, terminals 2a and 2b of input connection assembly 2 are positioned to provide a spacing P1, P2 between the connection port of terminal 2a, dedicated to phase current, and the connection port of terminal 2b, dedicated to neutral current. According to technical standards used in Latin countries, the spacing P2 between terminals 2a and 2b of input connection assembly 2 differs from the spacing P1 found on modular blocks using a technical standard employed in Germanic countries.
[0019] According to another particular construction example, the terminals 2a, 2b of the input connection assembly 2 have a spacing pitch P1 and respective connectors adapted to cooperate with at least one jumper bar 8 comprising fork-shaped connection points 9. Each of the terminals 2a, 2b of the input connection assembly 2 is then associated with a respective connection point 9 intended for the transmission of a specific current, neutral or phase. According to a specific feature of this particular construction example, the insulating housing that contains the electromechanical interrupting system 1 of the invention being adapted for mounting against a substantially vertical wall, the terminals 2a, 2b of the input connection assembly 2 are arranged at openings in the housing positioned on an underside of the housing, so that the jumper bar 8 connects to the system 1 of the invention from below.
[0020] According to an alternative to this particular construction, the terminals 2a, 2b of the input connection assembly 2 have a spacing pitch P2 and respective connectors adapted to cooperate with one or more jumper bars 8 comprising tab-shaped connection points 9. Each of the terminals 2a, 2b of the input connection assembly 2 is then associated with a respective connection point 9 intended for the transmission of a specific current, either neutral or phase. Depending on the type of jumper bar 8 used, the current, neutral or phase, is carried by the same jumper bar 8 or by respective jumper bars 8.According to a specific feature of this particular construction example, the insulating housing which houses the electromechanical interruption system 1 of the invention being adapted to be mounted against a substantially vertical wall, the terminals 2a, 2b of the input connection assembly 2 are arranged at the level of holes in the housing positioned on a top face of the housing, so that the jumper bar 8 connects to the system 1 of the invention from above.
[0021] According to another specific construction example, the electromechanical interrupting system 1 includes at least one actuation mechanism 10 for modifying the magnetic field near the differential current measuring device 5, which is coupled to a switch. This mechanism allows a user to perform a functional check of the differential current measuring device 5 and its ability to detect an anomaly related to the presence of residual current in the circuit(s) or network(s) associated with one or more output connection sets 6 of the electromechanical interrupting system 1 of the invention.
[0022] In the construction of the modular assembly according to the invention, each of the sets of 6 output current connection terminals 6a, 6b of the electromechanical current interruption system 1 is integrated into a respective module A, B. Module A integrates the input connection terminal 2a dedicated to the phase current, and module B integrates the input connection terminal 2b dedicated to the neutral current. Thus, according to this embodiment of the assembly according to the invention, the electromechanical current interruption system 1 is integrated and distributed across a pair of juxtaposed modules A, B. The input current is arranged to be associated with a dedicated module, on the one hand, for the phase current 2a and, on the other hand, for the neutral current 2b. Conversely, at the output, each of the modules A and B is arranged to ensure a distribution, on the one hand, of phase current 6a and, on the other hand, of neutral current 6b.Also, in the modular assembly of the invention, at the level of the separation between the two modules A, B formed by the inter-modular partition 12, two passage points are configured to ensure electrical continuity between the input connection terminals 2a, 2b and output terminals 6a, 6b, both with regard to the phase current 2a, 6a and the neutral current 2b, 6b.
[0023] Thus, according to an example corresponding to a first variant of the modular assembly according to the invention, the modular assembly includes an inter-modular phase current connection arrangement between, on the one hand, the circuit of the input connection terminal 2a dedicated to the phase current of the first module A and, on the other hand, the circuit of the output connection terminal 6a dedicated to the phase current of the second module B.
[0024] According to an example corresponding to a specific feature of this first variant of the modular assembly, the inter-modular phase current connection arrangement comprises a through-conductive device 11 disposed through the inter-modular partition 12 at the intersection of the inter-modular partition 12 with a plane which separates, on the one hand, the input connection terminal 2a dedicated to the phase current of the first module A and, on the other hand, via a conductive sheet 44, a thermal relay 3 integrated into the second module B. According to this specific implementation example, the through-conductive device 11 is positioned through the inter-modular partition 12 at a level optimized in terms of size so as to best limit the length and volume of the through-conductive device 11 within the modular assembly of the invention.Indeed, the point of passage of the through-conducting device 11 is located on the inter-modular partition 12 at a substantially equivalent distance from the input connection terminal 2a dedicated to the phase current of the first module A and the circuit of the thermal relay 3 integrated into the second module B.Furthermore, when the input connection terminals 2a, 2b of current at the level of each of the modules A, B have substantially similar configurations and dimensions and their respective positioning on either side of the inter-modular partition 12 is carried out in a substantially symmetrical arrangement, the particular arrangement of the through-conducting device 11 through the inter-modular partition 12 allows to jointly operate a connection of the through-conducting device 11 to the thermal relay 3 integrated into the second module B which is not hindered by the dimensions of the input connection terminal 2b dedicated to the neutral current in the second module B.
[0025] According to an example corresponding to a variant construction of such a conducting device passing through 11, this device has an arrangement comprising at least two portions 111, 112, one of which is inclined relative to the other, such that: the first portion 111 is, on the one hand, in contact with a face of the input connection terminal 2a dedicated to the phase current of the first module A and, on the other hand, arranged along at least one axis oriented from the input connection terminal 2a towards the interior of the first module A, the second portion 112 is, on the one hand, arranged transversely with respect to the inter-modular partition 12 and, on the other hand, arranged in a plane separating, on one side, the input connection terminals 2a, 2b and, on the other side, the thermal relays 3 coupled to switches.
[0026] This through-conductive device 11 can be made of a material with a degree of flexibility, such as electrical braiding, to facilitate assembly and installation, allowing for optimal adjustment of its positioning within the modular assembly, while overcoming the space constraints specific to the parts and elements arranged in this modular assembly. Alternatively, the through-conductive device 11 is made of a rigid material in a shape specifically adapted to the space allocated for its positioning within the modular assembly. In a specific example of this construction variant, the through-conductive device 11 is made in the form of an L-shaped piece in which the two portions 111 and 112 are arranged perpendicularly to each other.
[0027] Furthermore, according to an example corresponding to a second variant of the modular assembly according to the invention and capable of being combined with the first variant stated above, the modular assembly includes an inter-modular neutral current connection arrangement between, on the one hand, the circuit of the input connection terminal 2b dedicated to the neutral current of the second module B and, on the other hand, a connector intended to cooperate with a circuit of the output connection terminal 6b dedicated to the neutral current of the first module A.
[0028] According to an example corresponding to a specific feature of this second variant of the modular assembly, the inter-modular neutral current connection arrangement 13 comprises: a through-conductive device 132 of the inter-modular partition 12, on the one hand, arranged transversely with respect to the inter-modular partition 12 and, on the other hand, disposed in a plane separating, on one side, the input connection terminals 2a, 2b and, on the other side, the differential current measuring devices 5 coupled to switches, the through-conductive device 132 being disposed in a portion of the modular assembly in which it is separated from any conductor of opposite polarity of a length at least equal to the insulation distance according to standard IEC 61009-1, a conductive element 131 comprising, on the one hand, a first end in contact with a face of the input connection terminal 2b dedicated to the neutral current of the second module B and, on the other hand, a second end in contact with the through-conductive device 132.
[0029] According to one example of this variant, the through-conductor device 132 of the inter-modular partition 12 is implemented as a substantially axial element positioned at a space-optimized level to minimize the length and volume of the neutral current inter-modular connection arrangement 13. Specifically, the through-conductor device 132 is located on the inter-modular partition 12 in a portion of the modular assembly where it is separated from any conductor of opposite polarity by a length at least equal to the insulation distance specified in IEC 61009-1. Furthermore, the through-conductor device 132 is offset on the inter-modular partition 12 relative to the phase current through-conductor device 11 to prevent any unwanted or inappropriate interaction between the two current circuits. Also, when the current input connection terminals 2a, 2b at each of the modules A, B have substantially similar configurations and dimensions and their respective positions on either side of the inter-modular partition 12 are made in a substantially symmetrical arrangement, the conductive element 131 associated with the through-conductive device 132 of the inter-modular partition 12 has an arrangement adapted to the position offset of the through-conductive device 132. Also, according to an example corresponding to a construction variant, this conductive element 131 is made of a material having a certain flexibility, for example an electrical braid, capable of adapting to the space constraints specific to the parts and elements arranged in this modular assembly.Alternatively, a rigid material is likely to be used, so that the conductive element 131 imposes a spatially determined electrical circuit that is not able to be moved as in the use of a flexible material and eliminates the risk of accidental parasitic interactions.
[0030] According to an example corresponding to a variant construction of such a through-conductive device 132, it establishes a connection with the neutral current output terminal circuits 6b of each of the modules A, B of the assembly. The through-conductive device 132 is thus realized in the form of an axial element positioned through the inter-modular partition 12 such that each of its portions positioned in the two modules A, B of the assembly are respectively connected to the neutral current output terminal circuits 6b specific to each of the modules A, B of the assembly.
[0031] According to an example corresponding to a construction variant that can be combined with the previously detailed construction variants, the through-conducting device 132 is implemented by a mechanical clamping device for the modular assembly. In this example, the through-conducting device 132 of the inter-modular partition 12 is implemented by a part or assembly forming a clamping mechanism for the modules A and B assembled together. This construction example allows for a reduction in the overall size of the modular assembly by limiting the number of parts involved.
