Description

Domaine technique

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of refillable cosmetic product packaging containers, and more particularly to containers formed from a dressing pot in which is housed a removable container acting as a refill. Technique antérieure

[0002] In the field of cosmetics, to meet aesthetic, ecological and economic constraints, it is known to offer a packaging container consisting of two separate containers, namely an aesthetic dressing pot, generally more expensive to manufacture, and a more sober refill. The refill is a container containing the cosmetic product and is removably housed in the pot. Thus, it is possible to refill the dressing pot by simply replacing the empty removable container.

[0003] The dressing pot and the refill can be made from different materials: glass, plastic or even paper, the most common combination being a plastic refill combined with a glass dressing pot.

[0004] Furthermore, to secure the refill to the dressing pot, it is common to provide so-called means for locking the refill to the pot, so as to prevent unwanted extraction of the refill when the refill is housed in the dressing pot. These locking means may, for example, be in the form of a clipping system or stops formed by lugs and / or recesses integrated into the pot and the refill.

[0005] The integration of these locking means is made more complex in the case of a glass cladding pot which, due to its specific manufacturing processes, has significant dimensional and geometric tolerances. In addition, the manufacturing processes of glass pots are such that it is generally not possible to obtain sharp edges and corners, but rather smooth transitions, such as roundings and fillets. It is therefore understandable that locking by means of rounded edge stops is less effective.

[0006] Furthermore, with regard to plastic parts obtained by molding, the presence on the molded part of undercut shapes, such as indentations, retentions or sharp edge cavities that prevent the direct demolding of the part, requires the use of a special device to be able to demold the part without damage. Therefore, it is generally sought to design parts free of undercut shapes in order to facilitate the demolding of the part, and therefore to limit the handling steps during manufacturing that can generate additional costs. This constraint linked to demolding limits the shape, positioning and orientation of the indentations on the plastic part.

[0007] Thus, the design of the means for locking a refill in a dressing pot requires compromises to be made between the reliability of the locking system and the constraints linked to the materials.

[0008] Document FR 3 101 066 proposes to secure an internal glass container to an external container also made of glass by means of a plastic adapter insert. In particular, the insert comprises a first set of means for attaching the insert to the internal container and a second set of means for attaching the insert to the external container. This solution is of course too complex since it requires the production of a plurality of lugs on the insert, and complex handling by the user.

[0009] Document KR 10-2164827 describes a refill comprising tabs whose inner surface is provided with a lug. The tabs are received in external recesses of the pot, these recesses comprising a projecting guide member provided with a projection intended to cooperate with the lug of the refill for an anti-rotation effect. As explained previously, due to the absence of a sharp edge, unwanted unlocking of the refill when handling the lid to open the pot is always possible. This configuration presents a risk of unexpected unlocking of the refill when handling the pot. Exposé de l'invention

[0010] The object of the present invention therefore aims to propose a new packaging assembly for products, usable more specifically in the cosmetic field but also in any other field.

[0011] The invention aims in particular to propose an alternative solution for a refillable cosmetic pot, of simpler design and manufacture, integrating means for locking the refill to the dressing pot which are more effective in preventing the unexpected extraction of the tank.

[0012] The invention notably proposes a solution in which the locking means are more reliable and suitable for holding a refill container in a glass dressing pot, the refill being able to be for example made of glass, but more advantageously made of plastic or even made from recycled materials, without complicating the stages of manufacturing the pot and the refill.

[0013] The invention thus relates to a container for packaging a cosmetic-type product, comprising at least one refill tank arranged removably in a dressing pot. The dressing pot is formed of a body delimiting an open internal volume configured to house the tank. The body comprises a substantially circular neck centered on a vertical central axis and carrying a means for fixing a lid. The tank is formed of a base surmounted by a side wall delimiting an open internal volume configured in particular to contain the product.

[0014] According to the invention, the dressing pot comprises at least one non-through hollowed cavity in the thickness of the neck, the cavity opening onto the rim of the pot and having an upper stop edge extending in a first circumferential direction around the vertical central axis.

[0015] According to the invention, the tank comprises at least one gripping tab extending from the free edge of the side wall in a circumferential plane substantially parallel to the side wall of the tank, the contour of the tab in the circumferential plane has a portion extending in said first circumferential direction, said portion carrying a bearing surface.

[0016] The tab is configured to be received in the cavity, in particular by inserting the tab into the cavity opening onto the rim of the pot, and to slide in the cavity between a locked position and an unlocked position by rotating the tank around the vertical central axis.

[0017] Especially : in the locked position, the upper edge of the cavity is directly above the bearing surface of the tab, preventing movement of the tab in a vertical extraction direction substantially parallel to the vertical central axis; and in the unlocked position, the bearing surface of the tab is opposite the opening of the cavity formed in the rim, allowing movement of the tab in the vertical extraction direction.

[0018] In other words, the so-called "translational" locking which prevents the tank from moving in translation, i.e. vertically relative to the cladding pot in the locked position, is obtained by the combination of the upper edge of the cavity and the located bearing surface formed by the contour of the tab. The upper edge of the cavity and the bearing surface formed on the edge of the tab are configured so that in the locked position, the upper edge of the cavity cooperates with the bearing surface to prevent the vertical extraction of the tank from the cladding pot. The internal upper edge of the cavity therefore acts as a stop for the bearing surface of the tab, blocking any movement of the tab in the direction of extraction of the tank, opposite to a direction of insertion of the tank.

[0019] The bearing surface is therefore not formed by a protrusion projecting from the surface of the tongue but by the contour of the tongue, which prevents the tongue from being disengaged from its location in the locked position.

[0020] Preferably, the transition from the unlocked position to the locked position is obtained by rotation of the tank and therefore of its tongue in the cavity around the vertical axis in a locking direction corresponding to the first circumferential direction, and the transition from the locking position to the unlocking position is obtained by rotation of the tank and therefore of its tongue in the cavity in an unlocking direction corresponding to a second circumferential direction opposite to the first circumferential direction.

[0021] In practice, locking the tank in the pot successively comprises inserting the tab into the cavity via a translational movement of the tab in the insertion direction from the opening of the cavity leading to the rim of the pot, then positioning the tab in locked mode via a rotational movement of the tab in the first circumferential direction to said locked position, which makes it possible to block the extraction of the tank. Therefore, extracting the tank from the pot conversely comprises successively a rotational movement of the tab in the second circumferential direction to move the tab from the locked position to the unlocked position, then a translational movement of the tab in the extraction direction.

[0022] According to one embodiment: the tab comprises on its surface facing the side wall of the tank, a projecting lug extending, for example from the portion carrying the bearing surface, in the axial or vertical direction, and the cavity comprises a retaining relief extending, for example from the upper edge of the cavity, in the axial or vertical direction, and delimiting in the cavity, on either side of the retaining relief in the circumferential direction, a snap-fastening zone and a receiving zone.

[0023] According to this embodiment, in the locked position, the lug is in the latching zone, and in the unlocked position, the lug is in the receiving zone. In other words, when rotating the tank around the vertical axis to move between the unlocked and locked positions, the lug overcomes the retaining relief to be positioned in the latching zone or in the receiving zone.

[0024] In other words, the so-called "rotational" lock that prevents the tank from rotating relative to the cladding pot around the vertical central axis once in the locked position, is formed by the cooperation of the lug and the retaining relief. When moving the tab from the unlocked position to the locked position, i.e. when rotating the tab in the first locking direction, the lug overcomes the retaining relief, and a snap-in can be obtained. In this position, the retaining relief acts as a stop for the lug, limiting or preventing rotation of the tab in the unlocking direction. In practice, the tab has a certain elasticity allowing the lug to move from the snap-in zone to the receiving zone, and vice versa, when the tab is manipulated by the user.

[0025] The cavity is hollowed out in a non-through manner, that is to say that it does not open into the internal volume of the pot. The cavity may have an insertion channel opening onto the rim of the pot extending substantially in the axial direction defined by the vertical central axis, and a sliding channel extending in the circumferential direction, the sliding channel comprising said upper stop edge and the retaining relief. Thus, the tab is inserted into the cavity via the insertion channel. The movement in the insertion direction of the tab may in particular be ensured by the edges of the insertion channel. Once inserted, the tab can be manipulated by the user to slide in the sliding channel, guided by the cooperation of the upper stop edge of the cavity and the bearing surface of the tab.

[0026] According to one embodiment, the upper edge of the cavity, i.e. the upper stop edge, can be configured to serve as a guide surface for sliding the tab in the cavity.

[0027] According to a particular embodiment, the means for fixing the cover is in the form of at least one bead or an external thread projecting from the neck.

[0028] In this case, the upper stop edge includes at least a portion of the external bead or thread.

[0029] In other words, the upper stop edge is made in a portion of the means for fixing the lid projecting from the neck, so as to take advantage of the thickness of the bead or the external thread which thus offers a larger stop surface. For example, the means for fixing the lid may comprise an external thread or one or more separate external threads, and the upper stop edge may be made in one of the external threads. According to another embodiment, the means for fixing the lid may comprise one or more beads configured to fix a lid to the neck of the pot by clipping, and the upper stop edge may be made in one of these beads.

[0030] Preferably, the thickness of the upper edge in the radial direction, and therefore the depth of the cavity, is dimensioned to ensure the function of a stop for the bearing surface. For example, the thickness of the upper edge may be substantially equal to that of the bearing surface or that of the tab. Preferably, the tab is flush with the outer surface of the neck, or the edges of the tab and those of the cavity are flush. In practice, the covering of the outer surface of the tab by one or more internal thread(s) of the lid, combined with the configuration of the retaining relief, maintain the tab in the cavity and prevent unwanted rotation of the tab towards its unlocking position when opening the pot.

[0031] Advantageously, the tank comprises a collar extending radially from the free edge of the side wall, and comprising a lower surface configured to bear on the free edge of the neck of the pot, said tab extending from said collar.

[0032] Advantageously, the tab has a substantially L-shape, the base of the L extending in the first circumferential direction and carrying the bearing surface. In practice, the cavity has a shape complementary to that of the tab. Thus, in the locking position, the tab does not cover any threads of the pot when they are present.

[0033] In practice, the tank can include two tabs and the pot can include two cavities.

[0034] According to one variant, the dressing pot is made of glass. In this case, the tank is advantageously made of a plastic material. According to another variant, the dressing pot is made of a plastic material and the refill tank is made of a plastic material, similar or different from that of the dressing pot.

[0035] According to one embodiment, the packaging container further comprises a lid configured to be attached to the neck of the pot by means of the attachment system, the lid comprising a skirt configured to cover at least the portion of the neck of the pot containing the cavity. Preferably, the inner wall of the skirt or at least one element of the inner wall of the skirt, for example a net, blocks any movement of the tab in the radial direction when the lid is completely secured to the pot. The inner wall of the skirt or an element of the inner wall of the skirt may be configured to exert a bearing force on the surface of the tab. In other words, the tab is pressed into the cavity by the lid.

[0036] According to one variant, the lid is fixed to the neck of the pot by screwing. In this variant, when closing the pot, the rotation of the lid, in particular in the direction of locking the tab, can slightly drive the tab, which ensures that the tab is in the locked position. When opening the pot by unscrewing the lid, due to the pressure of the lid on the tab, the lug cannot overcome the retaining relief despite a slight driving of the tab induced by the unscrewing of the lid, which ensures that the tab remains in the locked position.

[0037] The invention also relates to a refill tank intended to be removably housed in a dressing pot, said refill tank being formed of a base surmounted by a side wall delimiting an open internal volume configured to contain a cosmetic-type product. The free edge of the side wall being circular centered on a vertical central axis.

[0038] The tank further comprises at least one gripping tab extending from the free edge of the side wall in a circumferential plane substantially parallel to the side wall of the tank, the contour of the tab in the circumferential plane has a portion extending in a first circumferential direction, said portion carrying a bearing surface configured to cooperate with an upper edge of a non-through hollowed cavity in the neck of the pot to prevent the tank from moving in the axial direction when the tank is housed in the pot in the locked position.

[0039] According to one embodiment, the tab further comprises on its surface facing the side wall of the tank, a projecting lug extending from the portion carrying the bearing surface in the axial direction. The lug is configured to cooperate with a retaining relief contained in the cavity, the lug and the retaining relief forming a rotational locking means by snap-fastening, preventing the tank from moving around the vertical central axis when the tank is housed in the pot in the locked position.

[0040] Of course, the refill can be coupled with a cap or any other means of closing or sealing the refill, so as to protect the cosmetic product contained in the refill from any contamination. Brève description of the drawings

Detailed description

[0042] Structurally and functionally identical elements present in several distinct figures are assigned the same numerical or alphanumeric reference.

[0043] The elements of a packaging container for a cosmetic-type product according to one embodiment are shown in the figure 1 , and consist of a refill tank 1, of a dressing pot 2 and a cover 3.

[0044] The pot 2, advantageously made of glass, comprises a body 20 delimiting an internal volume 21 open configured to accommodate the tank 1. The body 20 includes a collar on the upper part 22substantially circular centered on a central axis Z vertical and carrying a system for fixing the cover to the neck 22 of the pot, for example in the form of an external thread, one or more threads, or one or more protruding ridges or reliefs on the neck 22. In the embodiments described below and illustrated in the figures, the fixing system is in the form of an external thread 23 formed from a plurality of threads 230 distinct. The central axis Z vertical defines an axial direction, a radial direction R and a circumferential direction C substantially parallel to the neck of the pot. We also define an insertion direction Dinsert parallel to the central axis Z and an extraction direction Dextract opposite to the insertion direction Dinsert, a locking direction Dlock parallel to the circumferential directionC and an unlocking direction Dopen opposite to the locking direction Dlock.

[0045] The dressing pot includes two cavities 24 diametrically opposed in the neck region 22 carrying the thread 23. As illustrated in more detail on the figure 2 , each cavity 24 is dug non-through in the thickness of the neck 22. Each cavity 24 is formed by an insertion channel 240 in communication with a sliding channel 241. The insertion channel 240 opens onto the drinking hole 21 of the pot, and extends substantially in the axial direction, and in particular in the direction of insertion Dinsert. The sliding channel 241 extends from the insertion channel 240 in a circumferential direction, for example in the locking direction Dlock. The sliding channel 241thus includes an upper edge 2410 extending from one edge of the insertion channel 240 in the locking direction Dlock. For example, the cavity 24 may have a substantially L-shape, the base of the L extending in the locking direction Dlock.

[0046] The cavity 24 also includes a retaining relief 25 in the form of a segment projecting from the main internal surface of the cavity 24, substantially parallel to the vertical axis Z. As illustrated in the figure 2 , the relief can extend over the entire height of the sliding channel 241, and can also be aligned with one of the vertical edges delimiting the insertion channel 240. The relief of restraint 25 delimits in particular in the sliding channel two zones on either side of the retaining relief 25, namely a snap-in area 2411and a reception area 2412.

[0047] In the embodiment illustrated in figure 2 , the cavity 24 is carried out in the neck 22 so that the upper edge 2410 of the sliding channel 241 is formed by a portion of one of the nets 230 threading 23. So, as far as the thread 23 external includes nets 230 protruding from the surface of the neck 22 from the pot 2, it is possible to dig the cavity 24 so that the cavity wall 24 located at the level of this upper edge 2410 is wider, i.e. higher, in the radial direction. It is therefore understood that this configuration allows for a wider and therefore more effective stop surface. In addition, the height of the retaining relief 25 in the radial direction is preferably less than that of the cavity walls24.

[0048] The refill tank 1, preferably cylindrical, is formed from a bottom 10 topped with a side wall 11 delimiting an open internal volume configured to contain the cosmetic product. The tank 1 includes a collar 12 extending radially from the free edge of the tank and comprising a lower surface configured to bear on the free edge of the neck 22 from the pot 2. The tank 1 further includes two tabs 13 diametrically opposed gripping tabs. Each tab 13 extends from the free edge of the collar in a circumferential plane substantially parallel to the outer surface of the side wall 11 from the tank 1. In other words, the tab 13is substantially planar and comprises an outer surface intended for gripping and an inner surface opposite the outer surface of the side wall. Each tab 13 is configured to be inserted into one of the cavities 24 and to slide into the cavity 24. Each tab 13 is preferably of a shape complementary to that of the cavity 24.

[0049] The tongue 13 illustrated in the figure 3 has a substantially L-shape. The base of the L extends from the vertical portion of the L in the locking direction, and carries a bearing surface 130 (or vertical locking surface) configured to abut the top edge 2410, more particularly on the surface of the cavity wall bearing this upper edge 2410. The tongue 13 includes a lug 131 projecting from its surface opposite the side wall11 from the tank 1. The spur 131 is in the form of a segment extending substantially parallel to the axial direction. The lug is preferably positioned on the base of the L.

[0050] In practice, the tank is preferably made of plastic, and each tab 13 is sized to have some elasticity in the radial direction, in order to allow the lug 131 to overcome the restraint relief 25, when locking the tank to the pot or when unlocking it, as will be explained below.

[0051] Each tab 13 is thus configured to be inserted into one of the cavities 24 and to slide into the cavity 24 between an unlocked position ( figure 4a et figure 4b ) and a locked position ( figure 5a et figure 5b ) by rotation around the vertical central axis Z.

[0052] The tank 1 is positioned in the pot2 by inserting the tabs 13 in the cavities 24 respective. In particular, each tab 13 is inserted into the cavity 24 by sliding in the insertion direction Dinsert of the tab via the cavity opening on the rim, i.e. via the insertion channel to the sliding channel. The stroke of the tank in the insertion direction Dinsert is stopped when the collar rests on the neck of the pot or a lower surface of the tab rests on a lower wall of the cavity. As shown in the figure 4a and the figure 4b , in this unlocked position, the lug 131 of the tongue 13 is located at the reception area 2412.

[0053] To move from the unlocked position to the locked position shown in figure 5a and to the figure 5b , the user, via the tabs 13gripping, rotates the tank 1 in the pot 2 in the locking direction. The pivoting of the tank 1 accompanied by the sliding of each tab 13 in the cavity 24 corresponding, guided by the surface of the upper edge 2410 of the cavity, until the spur 131 overcomes the restraint relief 25 and passes through the snap-in area 2411. In practice, the tab is advantageously made of plastic material allowing elastic deformation to enable the lug to overcome the retaining relief. The travel of the tab in the locking direction is limited by the dimension of the snap-in channel, so that the tab also abuts against a portion of the wall of the cavity. Furthermore, the cavity is preferably hollowed out so that the external surface of the tab 13is flush with the outer surface of the pot neck. In other words, the tab is not thicker than the surface of the neck. In addition, the tab does not cover the threads of the neck.

[0054] So, the ergot 131 and the restraint relief 25 form rotational locking means for the tank, and their cooperation makes it possible to prevent the tank from moving in the unlocking direction Dlock. Especially when closing the jar with the lid 3 which includes an internal thread 31 complementary to the pot thread, the user positions the lid on the neck and turns the lid in the locking direction Dlock, usually clockwise, and the lid covers the neck of the jar and therefore the tabs 13 of the tank. As illustrated in figures 6 And 7 , in the closed position, a portion of the internal thread 31of the cover is positioned in contact, or at least as close as possible, to the external surface of the tab 13, thus preventing any movement of the tabs 13 in the radial direction. When opening the jar, the user turns the lid 3 in the unlocking direction Dopen, usually counterclockwise. The cover 3 covering the tabs 13, the cover 3 helps prevent the tabs from moving in the radial direction when the jar is opened, and therefore helps prevent each lug from overcoming the retaining relief 25. As illustrated in the figure 7 , the internal thread 30 holds the tab 13 in the cavity and prevents the spur 131 to overcome the restraint relief 25. This keeps the tank locked in rotation even when opening the pot.

[0055] Furthermore, in the locked position, the bearing surface 130 of the tongue 13 is in abutment on the surface of the upper edge 2410 of the cavity, the bearing surface 130 and the upper edge 2410 form translational locking means for the tank. In other words, these translational locking means prevent unwanted extraction of the tank from the pot. Furthermore, the upper edge 2410 may be configured to form a means for guiding the sliding of the tab.

[0056] The rotational and translational locking of the tank to the pot is thus improved despite the dimensional and geometric tolerances and the absence of sharp edges due to the constraints linked to the manufacturing process of glass pots. The shapes of the cavities and tabs are not limited to the shapes described above, and other shapes are possible as long as the tabs and cavities incorporate the locking means described above.

[0057] In practice, depending on the dimensions of the tank and the dressing pot, the internal upper edge 2410 of the cavity may extend over a few centimeters or a few millimeters in the circumferential direction, for example between 5 and 20 mm, the retaining relief 25 can protrude 2-15 mm into the cavity, and extend 5-30 mm in the axial direction. The snap-in area 2411 can extend 2-50 mm in circumferential direction and receiving area2410 can extend 2-30 mm in the circumferential direction. Since the tongue is complementary to the cavity, it has substantially similar dimensions.
