Abstract

A hearing aid is configured to be worn at or in an ear of a user, and comprises a) an input unit comprising at least one input transducer, e.g. a microphone, for picking up sound from the environment of the hearing aid and configured to provide at least one electric input signal representing said sound; b) an own voice detector configured to detect whether or not, or with what probability, said at least one electric input signal, or a processed version thereof, comprises a voice from the user of the hearing aid, and to provide an own voice control signal indicative thereof; and c) a datalogger for logging data related to the use of said hearing aid over time. The hearing aid is configured to log absolute or relative time periods of own voice activity in dependence of said own voice control in the datalogger. A method of operating a hearing aid is further disclosed.
