Abstract
Description
Feeding bottle for milk intake for toddlers
[0001] The invention relates to a feeding bottle for holding milk for infants, comprising a water bottle, a teat and at least one external heating device, wherein the feeding bottle has a separate milk powder depot and the external heating device has a temperature sensor and the milk powder depot has an opening device which can be operated manually so that milk can be mixed at any time.
[0002] Such feeding bottles are generally known from WO 2018 / 068493 A1, as well as US 2,793,776 and WO 2013 / 164619 A1. Such feeding bottles, according to the state of the art, are used to feed infants during the day and at night.
[0003] One problem with using feeding bottles at night is that the time from the toddler's first partial awakening, which indicates that there is a need to feed, to the completion of a finished bottle of milk that is also at the right temperature, is so long that the toddler is fully awake and only falls asleep again a long time after drinking.
[0004] From the heterogeneous state of the art, feeding bottles are known from CN 105816332 A, which comprise a temperature-sensitive, color-changing lamp.
[0005] The object of the invention, based on the first-mentioned prior art, is therefore to create a new feeding bottle for the intake of milk for small children, with which the feeding process can be initiated at any time with only a slight time delay.
[0006] The solution to the problem arises from a baby bottle for holding milk for small children according to claim 1.
[0007] The device according to the invention has the advantage that, at the moment the first signs of hunger are audible in the toddler, a drinking bottle containing water at a drinkable temperature and a milk powder dispenser are available, which means that, after a short mixing process, drinkable milk is immediately available. This advantageously prevents the child from waking up completely and then remaining awake for an extended period.
[0008] This also prevents the child's mother, father or siblings from waking up completely and not being able to fall asleep for a long time.
[0009] The milk powder reservoir is designed to have a manually operable opening device so that milk can be mixed at any time. Such a finger-operated opening device, for example, allows the milk powder reservoir to be emptied immediately when needed, and a ready-to-drink mixture to be prepared by briefly shaking it.
[0010] The opening device is formed from a detachable component that functions as the base part of the milk powder reservoir and a plunger part whose actuating surface extends into the teat arranged above the milk powder reservoir and can be manually actuated through it. In such an opening device, a plunger part and an annular part of the detachable base part are preferably made of hard plastic.
[0011] An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the heating device keeps the heated water filled into the water bottle at a temperature of 37° Celsius after cooling over the night.
[0012] This device has the advantage that boiling-hot water can be poured into the bottle before bedtime—and is therefore germ-free—and slowly cools to a drinking temperature of 37° Celsius during the first few hours of sleep through heat release. A heating device is then designed to maintain this drinking temperature of 37° Celsius. This advantageously ensures germ-freeness and low energy consumption, as the heating device only requires a very low power output.
[0013] In addition, it is very unlikely that a toddler fed before bedtime will wake up during the cooling period of the bottle contents from 100° Celsius to 37° Celsius, so this does not pose a problem for the rapid provision of a ready-to-drink feeding bottle for the intake of milk for toddlers.
[0014] In a further embodiment, the temperature sensor of the heating device can advantageously interact with LEDs which, depending on the temperature of the water filled in, indicate a temperature that is too low, too high, or the target temperature by means of different light colours.
[0015] This also allows the person feeding the toddler to see at a glance after waking up whether the water in the feeding bottle is at the right temperature.
[0016] In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the milk powder reservoir has an operable opening that can be resealed after use. This allows the milk powder reservoir to be emptied into the water reservoir very quickly, and a ready-to-drink mixture can be prepared with a few quick shakes. Preparing ready-made milk in the evening is not possible for health reasons, as the bacteria contained in the milk powder would render it inedible and harmful if heated for hours.
[0017] Furthermore, in one embodiment, the bottom part in the center of the annular part is formed from a flexible plastic membrane for the purpose of pressure equalization during the cooling of the heated water filled in.
[0018] Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following subclaims and the description of an embodiment. They show: Fig. 1perspective view of a feeding bottle for taking milk for small children, Fig. 2a representation of the feeding bottle according to Fig. 1 in exploded view, Fig. 3 a sectional view according to section line III, IV, V / III, IV, V in Fig. 1 through the feeding bottle, Fig. 4 a sectional view through the feeding bottle according to Fig. 1 without cover cap during emptying of the milk powder depot, Fig. 5 a representation according to Fig. 4 after emptying the milk powder depot, Fig. 6 a perspective view of the opening device and Fig. 7 a circuit diagram of the heating device.
[0019] In the drawings, a feeding bottle for infants' milk is designated overall by the reference number 10.
[0020] In the Fig. 1 The feeding bottle 10 is provided with a plastic water bottle 11 and a milk powder reservoir 12 (see Fig. 2 ), a teat 13, and a cover cap 14. Furthermore, the water bottle 11 is firmly connected to a base part 15.
[0021] The feeding bottle 10 is in the Fig. 2 drawn in exploded view. From below, one can first see the base 15, consisting of two parts 16 and 17, which can be screwed onto the water bottle 11 from below. For this purpose, the water bottle 11 (see Fig. 3 ) has a thread 18 which corresponds to a thread 19 of the base part 15.
[0022] The water bottle 11 is provided with a lower water intake area 20 and an upper intake area 21 for a milk powder depot 12, wherein an external thread 23 is formed on the outside of the water bottle 11 on the upper intake area 21, which serves to attach a teat ring 37.
[0023] The milk powder depot 12 has an outwardly projecting collar 25 at its upper filling opening 24, which rests on a circumferential end face 26 of the upper receiving area 21 of the water bottle 11 (see Fig. 3 ). The bottom of the milk powder depot 12 is covered by an opening device 27 (see Fig. 3 and 6 ) releasably closed, which has a base part 28 and a stamp part 29 which is provided with an actuating surface 30 which projects from the milk powder depot 12 into the interior of the teat 13.
[0024] While the actuating surface 30 of the plunger 29 and an annular part 31 of the base part 28 are made of hard plastic (see Fig. 6 ), the center of the base part 28 is designed as a flexible plastic membrane 32, wherein the opening device 27 is co-extruded entirely from hard and soft plastic.
[0025] The flexible plastic membrane 32 serves to compensate for pressure differences that arise when the water filled into the water bottle 11, which has been heated to 100°C, cools down.
[0026] The annular part 31 of the base part 28 has a circumferential locking groove 33 on the outside, while the milk powder reservoir 12 forms a circumferential, protruding locking ring 34 on the bottom. This design makes it possible to snap the opening device 27 into the milk powder reservoir 12 from below, creating a closed container for holding milk powder 22 that can be opened at any time.
[0027] The teat 13 is arranged on the circumferential collar 25 of the milk powder depot 12 and has a suction projection 35 with a suction opening 36.
[0028] The teat 13 is first inserted into the teat ring 37 from below. Then, the teat ring 37 is screwed onto the thread 23 on the receiving area 21 of the water bottle 11 using its internal thread (not shown), which simultaneously ensures the secure fit of the teat 13 between the teat ring 37 and the collar 25 of the milk powder reservoir 12.
[0029] Finally, a cover cap 38 can be positioned on the suction ring 37, which has a recess 39 on the top side, which seals against the suction opening 36.
[0030] In the Fig. 3 one can see that the base part 15 is screwed to the water bottle 11 due to the interaction of the threads 18 and 19 of the water bottle 11 and the base part 15.
[0031] Furthermore, the opening device 27 was snapped into the milk powder reservoir 12, and after approximately 100°C hot water W was poured into the lower receiving area 20, the milk powder reservoir 12 was inserted into the upper receiving area 21 of the water bottle 11. The milk powder 22 was then poured into the milk powder reservoir 12. After inserting the teat 13 into the teat ring 37, the latter is screwed onto the external thread 23 of the upper receiving area 21 of the water bottle 11, so that the teat 13 is simultaneously firmly attached to the feeding bottle 10. The feeding bottle 10 is thus ready for use at night.
[0032] From the drawings it can be seen that a recessed bottom 40 of the water bottle 11 has a stainless steel plate 41, wherein a circuit board-shaped heating device 42 is arranged below the bottom 40 by means of a two-sided thermally conductive adhesive tape.
[0033] The Figur 7 shows a block diagram B of the heating device 42 of the feeding bottle 10 for infant milk. It shows a circuit board P, which is equipped with SMD components on its underside.
[0034] The power supply of the board P is provided via an AC / DC USB adapter 43 and a USB cable with a two-pin magnetic plug 44, which can be plugged into a magnetic socket 45.
[0035] Furthermore, a filter / protective switch 46 is located on the circuit board P. This component incorporates a filter for EMC tests for CE testing as well as protective mechanisms that prevent the device from entering an unsafe state (e.g., fire protection).
[0036] In addition, the board P has a double comparator circuit 47 for two-point controllers and for detecting the point for the first heating (37° C) after filling.
[0037] Furthermore, the circuit board P is provided with a temperature sensor 48 and a component with three differently colored LEDs 49, which can indicate a temperature that is too high, the target temperature (37° C) or too low.
[0038] Finally, a circuit breaker 50 controls a heater 51 consisting of four to eight resistors.
[0039] In the Figuren 4 and 5 The commissioning of the suction bottle 10 is shown.
[0040] If a small child signals a need for food after a few hours at night, the user can use the feeding bottle 10, which is kept at 37°C.
[0041] After removing the magnetic plug 44 (see Fig. 7 ) and removing the cover cap 14, a finger F is pressed through the teat 13 onto the actuating surface 30 of the opening device 27. This unlocks the base part 28 of the opening device 27, so that the milk powder depot 12 is opened and the milk powder 22 falls into the water bottle 11 (see Fig. 4 and 5 After a little shaking, the milk mixture is ready and can be fed to the toddler.
