[0001] The invention relates to a mounting device for the installation of an external window sill.
[0002] Exterior window sills, which are usually made of aluminum sheet and are located on the outside of buildings, are typically installed with a predetermined, outward-sloping incline to ensure rainwater drainage. During installation, exterior window sills are applied by applying mounting foam or adhesive between the underside of the window sill and the substructure. Once cured, this adhesive creates a firm, insulated connection. However, since the mounting foam expands during curing, the exterior window sill must be secured before the mounting foam hardens, for example, using wedges or supports attached to the sides, to prevent the exterior window sill from lifting and to maintain the required incline. Such prior fixing, however, requires a correspondingly high level of installation effort.

[0007] The mounting device according to the invention contains a support body having a rear contact surface for contacting an outer side of a window frame, a lower contact surface inclined at a predetermined angle α relative to the rear contact surface for contacting an upper side of the outer window sill, and a retaining element arranged as a projection on a rear extension of the support body for positively and / or non-positively holding the support body on the window frame. Claims
1. A mounting device (1) for mounting an external window sill (2), with a support body (6) which includes a rear abutment surface (8) for abutting against an outer side (9) of a window frame (4), characterized in that the support body (6) has a lower abutment surface (11) inclined at a predetermined angle α relative to the rear abutment surface (8) for abutting against an upper side (12) of the external window sill (2) and a retaining element (13) arranged as a projection on a rear extension (14) of the support body (6) for retaining the support body (6) on the window frame (4) in a form-fitting and / or force-fitting manner.
2. The mounting device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining element (13) arranged on the support body (6) is designed for positive engagement with a corresponding counter-element (15) on the window frame (4).
3. The mounting device (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the retaining element (13) is designed as a web-shaped lug for positive engagement with a groove-shaped counter-element (15) on the underside of a shoulder (16) of the window frame (4).
