Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to a sanitary arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1, a wall arrangement according to claim 15 and a method according to claim 16. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Prefabricated bathrooms are increasingly being used in the sanitary sector. These bathrooms are manufactured as cubicles and are fully equipped at the factory with sanitary ware such as toilets, showers, vanities, etc. Pipes are installed on the outside of the cubicles and then routed through the walls.

[0003] EP 1 348 815 discloses a fastening structure for such wall penetrations. A water-carrying connection element is attached to the back of a wall and guided through the wall. Depending on the thickness of the wall, the pipe section protrudes slightly further or closer from the front, or merely protrudes into the opening in the wall but no further out. Further plumbing arrangements are known from publications EP0824170, KR200382026, EP3477007, and CN105780870. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Based on this prior art, the invention is based on an object of specifying a sanitary arrangement which has improved properties with regard to the placement of a pipe connection piece with respect to an opening in a wall structure.

[0005] This object is achieved by the subject matter according to claim 1. Accordingly, a plumbing arrangement comprises a pipe connection piece with a pipe housing that delimits at least one pipe channel, and a flange section protruding from the pipe housing and having a flange surface, wherein the pipe connection piece extends from the flange surface with a pipe section extending along a straight central axis to a pipe end, and a spacer with a contact surface for directly or indirectly supporting the spacer on a wall structure, as well as with a first stop surface and a second stop surface. The distance between the first stop surface and the contact surface, viewed in the direction of the surface normal of the contact surface, is different from the distance between the second stop surface and the contact surface. The spacer can be brought into contact with the flange surface either with the first stop surface or with the second stop surface, such that the distance between the contact surface of the spacer and the pipe end when contacting the first stop surface is different from the distance between the contact surface of the spacer and the pipe end when contacting the second stop surface. In each case, the distance is the distance viewed in the direction of the center axis of the pipe section or in the direction of the aforementioned surface normal.

[0006] In other words, the spacer can be placed on the flange surface in two different positions, so that the pipe end protruding freely from the contact surface has a different length.

[0007] The spacer, with its two stop surfaces, offers the advantage of allowing two different lengths of pipe ends protruding freely from the contact surface to be achieved with a single spacer. This makes it very easy to adapt the plumbing arrangement to different wall thicknesses. In particular, the adjustment can be made so that the freely protruding length of the pipe end essentially corresponds to the thickness of the wall, allowing the pipe end to be mounted flush with either wall surface.

[0008] Especially with standard wall thicknesses, the distances between the stop surfaces can be selected so that the spacer can be used for common wall thicknesses.

[0009] The pipe end is preferably designed on the outside as a cylinder with a constant diameter. On the inside, the pipe end preferably has an internal thread for connecting a pipe.

[0010] In a preferred development, the spacer comprises, in addition to the first and second stop surfaces, further stop surfaces which allow the provision of further different distances.

[0011] Preferably, the spacer comprises a central opening through which the pipe section is passed.

[0012] Preferably, the opening has a diameter that is larger than the outer diameter of the pipe section. Preferably, the pipe section and the central opening have a circular diameter.

[0013] When assembled, the center axis of the central opening is collinear with the center axis of the pipe section.

[0014] Preferably, the stop surfaces run parallel to the contact surface.

[0015] Furthermore, the second stop surface is provided by at least one elevation protruding from the first stop surface. If there are multiple stop surfaces, preferably several elevations extending away from the first stop surface are arranged.

[0016] Particularly preferably, the at least one elevation has a plurality of incisions, wherein the incisions preferably extend as far as the first stop surface.

[0017] Preferably, two elevations are arranged opposite one another with respect to the central axis, wherein each of the elevations has at least one surface section which provides part of the second stop surface.

[0018] Furthermore, the flange section has at least one recess, wherein the recess and said at least one elevation are designed such that in a first relative position between spacer and flange section, the elevation projects into the at least one recess, and the first stop surface can be brought into contact with the flange surface, and that in a second relative position between spacer and flange section, the elevation can be brought into contact with the flange surface by means of the second stop surface.

[0019] A particularly preferred embodiment is characterized in that the

[0020] Flange section has at least one first recess and at least one second recess, wherein the shape of the first recess is different from the shape of the second recess. In this embodiment, in a first relative position between spacer and flange section, the elevation with the second stop surface and the second recess are designed such that the elevation projects into the second recess and the first stop surface can then be brought into contact with the contact surface, and in a second relative position between spacer and flange section, the elevation with the second stop surface and the first recess are designed such that the second stop surface does not come to lie in the region of the first recess, but can be brought into contact with the flange surface.

[0021] The particularly preferred embodiment is further characterized in that the flange section has two first recesses opposite one another with respect to the central axis of the pipe section and two second recesses opposite one another with respect to the central axis of the pipe section, wherein the shape of the first recesses is different from the shape of the second recesses.

[0022] The recesses are preferably arranged in respective angular segments. Preferably, four angular segments of 90° each are provided, and one recess is arranged in each of the angular segments.

[0023] Preferably, the recesses are arranged at regular intervals around the central axis of the pipe section.

[0024] Preferably, the spacer further comprises two recesses arranged opposite one another.

[0025] Preferably, the flange portion and the spacer have a plurality of through-openings through which a fastening element for fastening the sanitary arrangement to a supporting structure can be passed.

[0026] The hole pattern of the through holes in the flange section is designed to match the hole pattern of the through holes in the spacer, so that the two hole patterns match each other in every relative position.

[0027] Preferably, the pipe connection piece has at least one further pipe section on the side opposite the pipe section, wherein the further pipe section preferably comprises a press contour via which the pipe connection piece can be connected to a pipe.

[0028] The remaining pipe section can be designed in any way, including a pipe bend, a T-piece, a straight pipe section, etc.

[0029] Preferably, at least one of said stop surfaces is provided by a plurality of surface sections. Preferably, at least one of said stop surfaces is provided by a continuous surface.

[0030] Preferably, the first stop surface is provided as a continuous surface and the second stop surface is provided by a plurality of surface sections.

[0031] Preferably, the sanitary arrangement further comprises a damping element that can be placed on the contact surface of the spacer, wherein the damping element has a bearing surface with which the damping element can rest on a wall structure. The contact surface of the spacer rests indirectly on the wall structure.

[0032] The damping element is preferably designed as a thin disc with a thickness of 2 to 4 millimeters. The damping element is preferably made of a soft material, such as ethylene propylene diene rubber, in particular EPDM 60 IRHD.

[0033] Preferably, the contour of the contact surface, viewed in the direction of the surface normal to the contact surface, and the contour of the damping element, viewed in the same direction, have the same shape. The damping element extends over the entire contact surface.

[0034] Preferably, the damping element and the contact surface each have a coding element so that the damping element can be placed on the contact surface in an aligned and determined position.

[0035] Preferably, the coding element on the damping element side is a recess, and the coding element on the spacer side is preferably a cam that protrudes into the recess when the damping element rests on the contact surface. In another variant, the recess can also be arranged on the spacer, and the cam can be arranged on the damping element.

[0036] For indirect support, the distance between the bearing surface of the damping element and the pipe end is preferably when contacting the flange surface and the first stop surface it is in the range of 31 to 33 millimeters and when contacting the flange surface and the second stop surface it is in the range of 26 to 29 millimeters.

[0037] For direct support, the distance is preferably between the contact surface of the spacer and the pipe end when contacting the flange surface and the first stop surface it is in the range of 34 to 36 millimeters and when contacting the flange surface and the second stop surface it is in the range of 29 to 31 millimeters.

[0038] Other distances are also conceivable. For example, it's conceivable that each of these ranges could be increased or decreased by 1 to 10 millimeters. This is possible, provided that the distance when resting on the first stop surface is different from the distance when resting on the second stop surface.

[0039] A wall arrangement comprises a sanitary arrangement as described above and a wall structure having a front side and a rear side, wherein the spacer rests directly or indirectly via said damping element with the contact surface on the rear side and wherein the pipe section with the pipe end extends through the wall structure, wherein the pipe end preferably lies flush with the front side.

[0040] A method for assembling such a wall arrangement is characterized in that in a first step the distance between the front and the rear side is determined, in a subsequent step the spacer is connected to the pipe connection piece either with the first stop surface or with the second stop surface towards the flange surface based on the determined distance, and in a further step the sanitary arrangement with the pipe section is guided through the wall structure until the contact surface rests on the rear side.

[0041] Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0043] The figures show a preferred embodiment of a plumbing assembly 1. The plumbing assembly 1 comprises a pipe connection piece 2 and a spacer 9, which can be connected to the pipe connection piece 2. The spacer 9 can be positioned in two different positions relative to the pipe connection piece 2. By varying the positioning, the distance between a contact surface 10 of the spacer 9 and the pipe end 8 of the pipe connection piece 2 can be adjusted.

[0044] The pipe connection piece 2 has a pipe housing 3, which defines at least one pipe channel 4. The pipe connection piece 2 also has a flange section 5, which extends outward from the pipe housing 3. The flange section 5 has a flange surface 6. From the flange surface 6, the pipe connection piece 2 extends with a pipe section 7 along a straight central axis M to the pipe end 6. The pipe section 7 preferably has an internal thread for connecting a pipe that can be led to a sanitary article. On the side opposite the pipe section 7, a further pipe section 18 is arranged. The further pipe section 18 here has the shape of a pipe bend, which deflects the pipe channel 4 by 90°. However, the further pipe section 18 can also be designed in another way. For example, as a straight pipe section, as a T-piece, etc.Preferably, the further pipe section 18 has a press contour 19 via which the pipe connection piece 2 can be connected to a pipe.

[0045] The spacer 9 has a contact surface 10, a first stop surface 11, and a second stop surface 12. With the contact surface 10, the spacer 9 can, in the installed state, rest against a wall structure directly or indirectly via the damping element 20 described below.

[0046] The first stop surface 11 and the second stop surface 12 are arranged at different distances from the contact surface 20. The distance A1 between the first stop surface 11 and the contact surface 10 or the bearing surface 26 of the damping element 20 in the direction of the surface normal F of the contact surface 10 is different from the distance A2 between the second stop surface 12 and the contact surface 10 or the bearing surface 26 of the damping element 20. The distances A1 and A2 are shown in the Figures 4 and 5 and 9 and 10. The spacer 9 can be brought into contact with the flange surface 6 either with the first stop surface 11 or with the second stop surface 12, such that the distance D1, viewed in the direction of the central axis M, between the contact surface 10 of the spacer 9 or the bearing surface 26 of the damping element 20 and the pipe end 8 when contacting the first stop surface 11 is different from the distance D2, viewed in the direction of the central axis M, between the contact surface 10 of the spacer 9 or the bearing surface 26 of the damping element 20 and the pipe end 8 when contacting the second stop surface 12. Figures 1 to 5 The contact is made via the first contact surface 11 and in the Figures 6 to 10 The contact is shown via the second contact surface 12. The distances D1 and D2 are shown in the Figures 4 and 5 as well as 9 and 10.

[0047] In a wall arrangement, it is desirable that the distances D1 and D2 substantially correspond to the wall thickness of a wall structure W through which the pipe section 7 passes. Consequently, depending on the relative position of the spacer 9, the distances D1 and D2 can be adjusted according to the wall thickness.

[0048] The spacer 9 is preferably made of plastic. In the embodiment shown, the spacer 9 has a central opening 13 through which the pipe section 7 can be passed.

[0049] In the embodiment shown, the first stop surface 11 is provided by the rear side of the spacer 9 opposite the contact surface 10. The second stop surface 12 is part of a protrusion 14 that extends away from the first stop surface 11. In the embodiment shown, two protrusions 14 are arranged, which are diametrically opposite one another with respect to the central axis M and the central opening 13, respectively. The protrusions 14 further have a plurality of incisions 22 that extend from the second stop surface 12 into the protrusions 14. In the embodiment shown, the second stop surface 12 is provided by a plurality of surface sections.

[0050] In the embodiment shown, the flange section 5 has at least one, here four, recesses 15. The at least one recess 15 and the at least one elevation 14 are designed such that in the first relative position, the elevation 14 projects into the at least one recess 16, and the first stop surface 11 can be brought into contact with the flange surface 6, and in the second relative position, the elevation 14 can be brought into contact with the second stop surface 12 with the flange surface 6.

[0051] As explained at the beginning, the Figures 1 to 5 the first relative position between spacer 9 and flange section 5 and the Figures 6 to 10 show the second relative position between spacer 9 and flange section 5.

[0052] In the embodiment shown, as mentioned, there are four recesses, namely two first recesses 15 and two second recesses 16. In each case, two first recesses 15 are arranged opposite one another, and two second recesses 16 are also arranged opposite one another. The first recesses 15 have a different shape than the second recesses 16. In the first relative position between the spacer 9 and the flange section 5, the elevation 14 with the second stop surface 12 and the second recess 16 are designed such that the elevation 14 protrudes into the second recess 16, and the first stop surface 11 can then be brought into contact with the contact surface 10.In the second relative position between spacer 9 and flange section 5, the elevation 14 with the second stop surface 12 and the first recess 15 are configured such that the second stop surface 12 does not lie in the region of the first recess 11, but can be brought into contact with the flange surface 6. The recesses 15, 16 are preferably arranged in respective angular segments. Preferably, four angular segments of 90° each are provided, and one recess 15, 16 is arranged in each of the angular segments.

[0053] In the embodiment shown, the spacer 9 has two recesses 23 which are arranged opposite one another.

[0054] The flange section 5 and the spacer 9 have a plurality of through-holes 17. The hole pattern of the through-holes 17 in the flange section 5 is designed to match the hole pattern of the through-holes 17 in the spacer 9, so that the two hole patterns match each other in every relative position. A fastening element for attaching the sanitary arrangement 1 to a supporting structure can be passed through the through-holes 17.

[0055] In the embodiment shown, the sanitary arrangement further comprises a damping element 20, which can be placed on the contact surface of the spacer 9. The damping element 20 has a thickness of 2 to 4 millimeters.

[0056] The distance D1, D2 between the bearing surface 26 of the damping element 20 and the pipe end 8 is when contacting the flange surface 6 and the first stop surface 11 is in the range of 31 to 33 millimeters and when contacting the flange surface 6 and the second stop surface 12 is in the range of 29 to 31 millimeters.

[0057] The outline of the contact surface 10, viewed in the direction of the surface normal to the contact surface 10, and the outline of the damping element 20, viewed in the same direction, have the same shape. Furthermore, the damping element 20 and the contact surface 10 each have a coding element 21, so that the damping element 20 can be placed on the contact surface 10 in an aligned and determined position. In the variant shown, the coding element 21 is a recess on the damping element side, and the coding element 21 is a cam on the spacer side.

[0058] In the case of a direct support without damping element 20, the same distances D1, D2 are provided, whereby the pipe section 7 is then shorter.

[0059] In the Figures 5 and 10 A wall structure W is also shown. The wall structure W is part of a wall arrangement, which further comprises the sanitary arrangement 1 as described above. The wall structure W has a front side 24 and a rear side 25. The pipe section 7 extends with the pipe end 8 through the wall structure W. The pipe end 8 is preferably flush with the front side 24. The sanitary arrangement 1 is in indirect contact with the rear side 25 via the damping element 20.

[0060] In a method for assembling the wall arrangement, in a first step the distance between the front and the back is determined, in a subsequent step the spacer 9 is connected to the pipe connection piece 2 either with the first stop surface 11 or with the second stop surface 12 towards the flange surface 6 based on the determined distance, and in a further step the sanitary arrangement with the pipe section 7 is guided through the wall structure until the contact surface 10 rests on the back.
