Description

Technical field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of railway track laying and maintenance, and more particularly to a transport trolley adapted for the transport and support of railway track laying and maintenance machines. State of the art

[0002] In the field of railway track laying and maintenance, it is common practice to use trolleys designed to run on the two rails of a railway track. These trolleys include a support section on which track laying and maintenance equipment is mounted. Such equipment might include, for example, a spike driver, a sleeper drill, a bolting tool, a clipper, or any other machine designed for use with such a trolley. The trolley is capable of supporting the weight of the track laying and maintenance equipment and generally allows it to rotate around a horizontal axis to perform movements such as raising and lowering the equipment.

[0003] It is also generally intended that the trolley allows movement around a vertical axis so as to be able to move the active part of the machine to either side of a rail.

[0004] Furthermore, in order to move the trolley along the two rails of the railway, the trolley may include rolling means configured to allow the trolley, and therefore the track-laying and maintenance machine, to move along the railway. Positioning the track-laying and maintenance machine on a railway thus requires placing the trolley on the track and positioning the machine on the trolley's support section.

[0005] Depending on the type of installation and maintenance machine used, it may be necessary for the support portion to be inclined at a predetermined angle to the vertical. For this purpose, it is known in the prior art to use a trolley comprising a transverse frame with a portion inclined at this predetermined angle. This solution is satisfactory in that it allows the installation and maintenance machine to be inclined at this predetermined angle. However, such a design can only be applied to a single type of machine. Indeed, some machines require steeper angles of inclination than others (for example, at 40°, which corresponds to an angle of 1.432°, or at 20°, which corresponds to an angle of 2.862°), and some machines require no angle at all.As a result, an operator wishing to use different kinds of machines will have to use a trolley for each machine, which increases the complexity of the logistics of transporting and using the machines, and drastically increases the handling of the machines at the track level.

[0006] Furthermore, it can be practical for an operator to perform operations successively on both rails of the railway. Thus, if a trolley does not have an inclined section at the ends of the transverse frame, the operator will have to use another one, which further increases the handling operations on the tracks. Object of the invention

[0007] The present invention aims to provide a solution that addresses all or part of the aforementioned problems, namely to provide a transport trolley for railway track laying and maintenance machines: suitable for moving laying and maintenance machines along a railway; capable of adapting to different types of laying and maintenance machines; simple to manufacture and use.

[0008] This goal can be achieved through the implementation of a transport trolley designed to transport and support a railway track laying and maintenance machine, said transport trolley comprising: movement members configured to allow movement of the transport trolley on railway rails along an axis of the railway; a support system comprising a slide, a support element intended to cooperate with the railway track laying and maintenance machine, and a tilting device ensuring rotational mounting of the support element relative to the slide around a first axis of rotation; a transverse frame extending along a transverse direction which extends transversely to the axis of the railway when the transport trolley rests on the railway by means of said movement members, said transverse frame being integral with the movement members, and being configured to allow movement of the support system along the transverse direction, the slide being slidably mounted along the transverse frame along the transverse direction; the tilting device being further mounted pivoting relative to the transverse chassis around a second axis of rotation forming an angle with the first axis of rotation.

[0009] The previously described provisions make it possible to propose a transport trolley suitable for supporting a railway track laying and maintenance machine, the support system also allowing the laying and maintenance machine to be handled according to two degrees of rotational mobility relative to the transverse chassis: around the first axis of rotation and around the second axis of rotation.

[0010] The transport trolley may also have one or more of the following characteristics, taken alone or in combination.

[0011] According to one embodiment, the second axis of rotation is parallel or coincides with the axis of the railway track.

[0012] According to one embodiment, an angle formed between the first axis of rotation and the second axis of rotation is fixed, and in particular equal to 90°.

[0013] According to one embodiment, the first axis of rotation is perpendicular to the second axis of rotation.

[0014] According to one embodiment, pivoting the tilting device around the second axis of rotation allows the first axis of rotation to be tilted in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the railway track.

[0015] According to one embodiment, the tilting device includes a sleeve-shaped portion of revolution into which the support element is inserted so that the support element can slide inside the portion of revolution around the first axis of rotation.

[0016] According to one embodiment, the transport trolley is adapted for transporting installation and maintenance machines such as spike drivers, drills, bolters, or clippers.

[0017] According to one embodiment, the tilting device is mounted to rotate relative to the slider around the second axis of rotation, so as to allow the tilting device to pivot relative to the transverse frame.

[0018] According to one embodiment, the transverse frame comprises a displacement portion extending between a first end and a second end, the transverse frame further comprising at least one stop member disposed at the first end and / or the second end, said at least one stop member being configured to block a translation of the support system relative to the transverse frame outside the displacement portion.

[0019] Thus, it is possible to block the support system in at least one direction in translation at the ends of the portion of displacement.

[0020] In one embodiment, the transverse frame, and more particularly the travel portion, comprises two U-shaped profiles extending perpendicularly to the axis of the railway track. For example, said two U-shaped profiles are fixed to each other by means of a reinforcing frame.

[0021] Advantageously, the travel section allows the support system to be moved between two railway rails. This makes it possible to move the track laying and maintenance machine between these two rails, thus facilitating access to both sides of the track.

[0022] In one embodiment, the first end is located opposite the outer side of the first rail of the railway track, and the second end is located opposite the outer side of the second rail of the railway track. In this way, when the support system is prevented from moving by the stop at one end, it is positioned at the level of the corresponding rail. The operator of the track laying and maintenance machine can therefore use the machine from both sides of the rail.

[0023] In one embodiment, the tilting device includes a tilting portion configured to contact the stop member. For example, the tilting device comprises two tilting portions in the form of two lips extending from the portion of revolution, on either side of the portion of revolution. Each lip may have a stop surface configured to contact a stop member.

[0024] According to one embodiment, the transport trolley includes a locking device configured to hold the support system in position along the transverse direction at an end chosen from the first end and the second end.

[0025] Thus, it is possible to completely block the translation of the support system at one of the two ends via the locking mechanism.

[0026] According to one embodiment, the locking member is configured to block a first direction of translation along the transverse direction, and the stop member is configured to block a second direction opposite to the first direction along the transverse direction.

[0027] According to one embodiment, the locking member forms the stop member.

[0028] According to one embodiment, the support system includes a hook, and in which the locking member includes a lever equipped with a hook, said hook being configured to cooperate with the hook to hold the support system at one end of the displacement portion, the lever being rotationally fixed with the stop member.

[0029] Thus, the locking function of the support system at one end is achieved by two interlocking parts. Furthermore, the hook design is simple to install on the support system.

[0030] According to one embodiment, the hook is in the form of a hook rod.

[0031] Advantageously, the geometry of the hook allows for play-free locking of the support system, regardless of the degree of wear on the hook rod.

[0032] In one embodiment, the lever is linked to the transverse frame via a return system configured to keep the hook in contact with the latch. This helps to limit the risk of unintentional release of the support system.

[0033] According to one embodiment, the slider comprises a body provided with translational guide elements, the slider then being configured to allow translation of the support system relative to the transverse frame along the transverse direction via the translational guide elements.

[0034] Thus, the slider allows easy movement of the support system along the transverse direction.

[0035] According to one embodiment, the transverse frame, and more particularly the portion of movement, delimits a slide.

[0036] According to one embodiment, the translational guidance elements include displacement rollers.

[0037] In one embodiment, the slide can be moved along a transverse direction that may be perpendicular to the axis of the railway track by means of translational guide elements engaged in the slide. For example, two U-shaped profiles form the slide in which the translational guide elements are engaged.

[0038] According to one embodiment, the transport trolley includes adjustment means configured to vary the tilting device between an upright position in which the first axis of rotation is perpendicular to a plane of the railway track, and an inclined position in which the first axis of rotation is inclined with respect to an axis perpendicular to the plane of the railway track at a predetermined angle.

[0039] Thus, it is possible to fine-tune the tilt angle of the first axis of rotation relative to the track plane to adapt to the track's components. For example, the support system can be tilted according to the track-laying and maintenance machine, at a predetermined angle.

[0040] According to one embodiment, the inclined portion has at least one bearing surface, the adjustment means are then configured to bear on said at least one bearing surface to tilt the tilting device.

[0041] In an embodiment where the inclined portion takes the form of two lips, the upper and lower surfaces of each lip form the bearing surfaces. In this case, the abutment surface may be provided to be situated between the two bearing surfaces.

[0042] According to one embodiment, the slide includes adjustment means which allow adjustment of the inclination of the tilting device between the straight position and the inclined position.

[0043] Thus, the support system includes all the elements necessary for tilting the tilting device. It is therefore possible to adjust the tilt of the tilting device to any position along the transverse direction where the support system can be placed.

[0044] In one embodiment, the slide comprises at least one threaded bore formed in the body of the slide, through which studs or screws forming the adjustment means can be screwed. These studs or screws can then bear against a bearing surface of the inclination portion.

[0045] According to one embodiment, the adjustment means include a tilt wedge interposed between the transverse frame and the tilting device, said tilt wedge being configured to cause the tilting device to tilt when it bears against a contact surface of the tilt wedge.

[0046] According to one embodiment, the tilting wedge is integral with the transverse frame.

[0047] Thus, the adjustment means can be attached to the transverse frame and offer improved robustness.

[0048] In one embodiment, the tilt wedge is removable and can be attached to the crossmember. This allows the tilt wedge to be changed to adjust the predetermined angle or replaced if worn.

[0049] According to one embodiment, the lower bearing surface of the inclination portion is configured to bear against the contact surface of the inclination wedge.

[0050] According to one embodiment, the contact surface of the tilting wedge forms a ramp on which the tilting portion of the tilting device rests, so as to slide and tilt to place itself in the inclined position.

[0051] According to one embodiment, the support system includes a locking member configured to block the pivoting of the tilting device relative to the transverse frame.

[0052] Thus, it is possible to maintain the tilting device in a specific position between the upright position and the tilted position.

[0053] According to one embodiment, the locking member comprises a retaining stud configured to fit into a threaded retaining bore located opposite the tilting wedge, the locking of the tilting device's pivoting being achieved by pinching the tilting portion between the retaining stud and the tilting wedge.

[0054] In one embodiment, the adjustment means comprise two adjustment means disposed on either side of the portion of revolution, and form the locking member. For example, said two adjustment means may comprise adjusting pins configured to bear against the upper bearing surfaces of the inclination portions so as to lock the inclination device in a predetermined position between the upright position and the inclined position.

[0055] According to one embodiment, the movement members comprise a movement armature on which are mounted freely in rotation at least two movement rollers each comprising a cylindrical portion intended to rest on a railway track rail, and a disc-shaped guide portion intended to cooperate with a lateral face of said railway track rail.

[0056] Thus, it is possible to easily move the transport trolley along the railway track.

[0057] According to one embodiment, the transport trolley may include braking means configured to prevent the transport trolley from moving along the railway track. For example, the braking means may be those of the embodiments described in document WO2009 / 092929A1.

[0058] According to one embodiment, the support element comprises a support rod parallel to the plane of the railway track on which the laying and maintenance machine is intended to rest, said support rod being in the form of all or part of a cylindrical tube.

[0059] Thus, it is possible to induce a third degree of freedom in rotation of the laying and maintenance machine around the axis of revolution of the cylindrical tube. Brief description of the drawings

[0061] In the figures and throughout the description, the same reference numerals represent identical or similar elements. Furthermore, the various elements are not drawn to scale to ensure clarity. Moreover, the different embodiments and variants are not mutually exclusive and can be combined.

[0062] As illustrated on the figures 1 to 7 The invention relates to a transport trolley 1 intended to transport and support a railway track laying and maintenance machine, denoted "M". For example, said track laying and maintenance machine M may be a spike driver, a drill, a bolter, or a clipper.

[0063] This transport trolley 1 includes, firstly, movement elements 3 configured to allow movement of the transport trolley 1 on railway rails along a railway axis marked "X". As can be seen on the figures 1 and 2The movement members 3 may include a movement frame 5 on which at least two movement rollers 7 are mounted for free rotation. Each roller comprises a cylindrical portion 7a for resting on a rail of the railway track and a disc-shaped guide portion 7b for cooperating with a lateral face of said rail of the railway track. Thus, the transport trolley 1 can be easily moved along the railway track. According to an alternative (not shown), the transport trolley 1 may also include braking means configured to prevent the transport trolley 1 from moving along the railway track. For example, the braking means may be those of the embodiments described in document WO2009 / 092929A1.

[0064] The transport trolley 1 further comprises a transverse frame 60 extending along a transverse direction denoted "Y" extending transversely to the axis of the railway track X when the transport trolley 1 rests on the railway track by means of said movement members 3. The transverse frame 60 is therefore integral with the movement members 3. To simplify the description, it is possible to define an orthonormal coordinate system, centered at the center of gravity of the transport trolley 1, to illustrate a non-limiting embodiment of the invention. This orthonormal coordinate system may comprise three axes: The X axis extends along the axis of the railway track, and is oriented according to the preferred direction of progress of the train; The Y axis extends transversely to the axis of the railway track X, and generally perpendicular to this axis X; An axis denoted "Z" extends perpendicularly to the plane formed by the axes X and Y, and is generally vertical and parallel to gravity.

[0065] As illustrated on the figure 1The transverse frame 60 includes a travel portion 61, generally located between two railway rails. This travel portion 61 extends along the transverse direction Y between a first end 63 and a second end 65. The transverse frame 60, and more specifically the travel portion 61, comprises two U-shaped profiles 61a, 61b extending perpendicularly to the axis of the railway X. For example, said two U-shaped profiles 61a, 61b are fixed to each other by means of a reinforcing frame 9. Thus, and as will be described later, the travel portion 61 allows a support system 10 to be moved between two railway rails, in order to move the track-laying and maintenance machine M between said two rails and thus operate more easily on both sides of the railway. In other words, the transverse frame is configured to allow movement of the support system 10 along the transverse Y direction from one rail to the other.

[0066] The transport trolley 1 also includes a support system 10, illustrated more particularly on the figure 4 The support system 10 includes a slide 20, a support element 30 intended to cooperate with the railway track laying and maintenance machine M, and a tilting device 40 ensuring a rotational mounting of the support element 30 relative to the slide 20 around a first axis of rotation A1.

[0067] As can be seen in the non-limiting variant shown on the figures 1 to 3The support element 30 may include a support rod 31 parallel to the plane of the railway track on which the track-laying and maintenance machine M is intended to rest. Advantageously, the support rod 31 may be in the form of all or part of a cylindrical tube. This allows the track-laying and maintenance machine M to be given a degree of rotational freedom about the axis of revolution of the cylindrical tube, for example, to perform so-called "raising and lowering" movements of the track-laying and maintenance machine M.

[0068] The slide 20 is mounted to slide along the transverse frame 60 in the transverse direction Y. Generally, the slide 20 comprises a body 21 equipped with translational guide elements 23. In this way, the slide 20 is configured to allow translation of the support system 10 relative to the transverse frame 60 along the transverse direction Y via the translational guide elements 23. In particular, the transverse frame 60, and more specifically the sliding portion 61, may define a slide. For example, the two U-shaped profiles 61a, 61b form said slide in which the translational guide elements 23 can be engaged. The translational guide elements 23 may include displacement rollers, so that the slide 20 can be moved along the transverse direction Y (which may be perpendicular to the axis of the railway track X) by means of the translational guide elements 23 engaged in the slide. Thus, the slide 20 allows easy movement of the support system 10 along the transverse direction Y.

[0069] Advantageously, the cross frame 60 may include at least one stop 69 located at the first end 63 and / or the second end 65. For example, the cross frame 60 may include a first stop 69 at the first end 63 located opposite an outer side of a first rail R1 of the railway track, and a second stop 69 at the second end 65 located opposite an outer side of a second rail R2 of the railway track. These stop 69s are configured to prevent translation of the support system 10 relative to the cross frame 60 outside the travel portion 61. In this way, when the support system 10 is prevented from translating by the stop 69 at one of the ends 63 or 65, it is located at the corresponding rail. The operator of the track laying and maintenance machine M can therefore use the track laying and maintenance machine M from both sides of the rail. This makes it possible to lock the support system 10 in at least one direction of translation at the ends of the travel section 61.

[0070] The transport trolley 1 may also include a locking member 80 configured to hold the support system 10 in position along the transverse direction Y at an end selected from the first end 63 and the second end 65. A possible variant of such a locking member 80 is shown in the figure 7According to this variant, the locking member 80 comprises a lever 81 with a hook 83. The support system 10 may include a hook 11, for example in the form of a hook rod, with which the hook 83 is configured to cooperate, in order to hold the support system 10 at one of the ends 63, 65 of the travel portion 61. Advantageously, the geometry of the hook 83 allows for backlash-free locking of the support system 10, regardless of the degree of wear of the hook rod. The lever 81 may be rotationally fixed with the stop member 69 and may be connected to the transverse frame 60 via a return system 85. The return system 85 is configured to keep the hook 83 in contact with the hook 11, in particular to limit the risk of unintentional release of the support system 10.Thus, the locking function of the support system 10 at one of its ends 63, 65 is achieved by two interlocking parts. Furthermore, the design of the hook 11 is simple to install on the support system 10. In other words, it is possible to completely block the translation of the support system 10 at one of its two ends 63, 65 by means of the locking member 80 and / or the stop member 69.

[0071] According to one embodiment, the locking member 80 is configured to block a first direction of translation along the transverse direction Y, and the stop member 69 is configured to block a second direction opposite to the first along the transverse direction Y. According to another embodiment, the locking member 80 forms the stop member 69. In this case, the locking member is capable of blocking translation of the support system 10 in both directions.

[0072] As mentioned above, the support system 10 includes a tilting device 40 ensuring rotational mounting of the support element 30 relative to the slide 20 around the first axis of rotation A1. With reference to the figures 2 to 7The tilting device 40 includes a sleeve-shaped portion of revolution 41 into which the support element 30 is inserted, allowing the support element 30 to slide within the portion of revolution 41 around the first axis of rotation A1. The tilting device 40 may also include a tilting portion 43 configured to contact the stop member 69. For example, the tilting device 40 includes two tilting portions 43 in the form of two lips extending from the portion of revolution 41, on either side of the portion of revolution 41. Each lip may have a stop surface sb43 configured to contact a stop member 69.

[0073] The tilting device 40 is further mounted to pivot relative to the cross frame 60 about a second axis of rotation A2, for example parallel to or coinciding with the axis of the railway track X, and forming an angle with the first axis of rotation A1. Generally, the angle formed between the first axis of rotation A1 and the second axis of rotation A2 is fixed, and in particular equal to 90°, so that the first axis of rotation A1 is perpendicular to the second axis of rotation A2. For example, the tilting device 40 is mounted to rotate relative to the slide 20 about the second axis of rotation A2, so as to allow the tilting device 40 to pivot relative to the cross frame 60. Thus, pivoting the tilting device 40 about the second axis of rotation A2 allows the first axis of rotation A1 to be tilted in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the railway track X.

[0074] The inclination of the tilting device 40 can be controlled by adjustment means 25, 64 configured to vary the tilting device 40 between a straight position in which the first axis of rotation A1 is perpendicular to a plane of the railway track, and an inclined position in which the first axis of rotation A1 is inclined with respect to an axis perpendicular to the plane of the railway track at a predetermined angle α. figures 5 and 6 present the transport trolley 1 in which the tilting device 40 is in the upright position ( figure 5 ), or in the inclined position ( figure 6Thus, it is possible to finely adjust the inclination angle of the first rotation axis A1 relative to the plane of the railway track to adapt to the track components. For example, the support system 10 can be inclined according to the track-laying and maintenance machine M, at a predetermined angle α. According to an embodiment illustrated in the figures, the inclination portion 43 may have at least one bearing surface sa43s, sa43i, on which the adjustment means 25, 64 are configured to bear in order to incline the tilting device 40. When the inclination portion 43 is in the form of two lips, the upper surfaces sa43s and lower surfaces sa43i of each lip form the bearing surfaces sa43s, sa43i. In this case, it may be provided that the stop surface sb43 is disposed between the two bearing surfaces sa43s, sa43i.

[0075] According to a first variant, the slide 20 includes adjustment means 25, 64 that allow the inclination of the tilting device 40 to be adjusted between the upright position and the inclined position. For example, the slide 20 may include at least one threaded bore formed in the body 21 of the slide 20, through which studs or screws 25 forming the adjustment means 25, 64 can be screwed. Said studs or screws 25 can then bear against a bearing surface sa43s, sa43i of the inclination portion 43. Thus, the support system 10 includes all the elements necessary for tilting the tilting device 40. It is therefore possible to adjust the inclination of the tilting device 40 at any position along the transverse direction Y where the support system 10 can be placed.

[0076] According to a second variant, which can be combined with the first variant, the adjustment means 25, 64 include a tilting wedge 64 interposed between the transverse frame 60 and the tilting device 40. The tilting wedge 64 is configured to cause the tilting device 40 to tilt when it bears against a contact surface s64 of the tilting wedge 64. For example, the lower bearing surface sa43i of the tilting portion 43 can be configured to bear against the contact surface s64 of the tilting wedge 64. Advantageously, the contact surface s64 of the tilting wedge 64 can form a ramp against which the tilting portion 43 of the tilting device 40 bears, so as to slide and tilt into the inclined position. The tilt wedge 64 is generally removable, and can be attached to the transverse frame 60.In this way, it is possible to change the tilt wedge 64 to adjust the predetermined angle α, or to replace it if it is worn. Securing the adjustment means 25, 64, and in particular the tilt wedge 64, to the transverse frame 60 ensures that the adjustment means 25, 64 have improved robustness.

[0077] Finally, the support system 10 may include a locking member 13 configured to prevent the tilting device 40 from pivoting relative to the transverse frame 60. In this way, it is possible to hold the tilting device 40 in a predetermined position between the upright position and the tilted position. For example, the locking member 13 may include a retaining stud configured to fit into a threaded retaining bore located opposite the tilting wedge 64. The pivoting of the tilting device 40 is then blocked by the clamping of the tilting portion 43 between the retaining stud and the tilting wedge 64. In another example, the adjustment means 25, 64 comprise two adjustment means 25, 64 arranged on either side of the portion of revolution 41, and together form the locking member 13.For example, said two adjustment means 25, 64 may include adjustment pins 25 configured to bear against the upper bearing surfaces of the tilt portions 43 so as to lock the tilt device 40 in a determined position between the straight position and the tilted position.

[0078] The aforementioned provisions allow for the provision of a transport trolley 1 capable of supporting a railway track laying and maintenance machine M. The support system 10 further enables the track laying and maintenance machine M to be manipulated with two degrees of rotational mobility relative to the transverse frame 60: around the first axis of rotation A1 and around the second axis of rotation A2.
