[0003] The present invention relates to a mechanical child lock for preventing children from opening a door of a household appliance easily, and a household appliance comprising the same.

[0005] Household appliances that save time and energy and make daily life easier are widely used. Examples of these household appliances include ovens for cooking food products, dishwashers for cleaning dishes, cooling devices for keeping food for a certain period of time, and washing machines for cleaning textiles.

[0006] In said household appliances, there is provided a treatment compartment (e.g. a cooking compartment for ovens, a washing compartment for dishwashers, etc.), wherein the household appliances also comprise at least one door for controlling access to the treatment compartment. Said doors in household appliances can generally be opened by a pulling force and closed by a pushing force. However, the uncontrolled opening of the doors can cause malfunctions in some household appliances. [0057] In an exemplary embodiment of the child lock (K) according to the invention, the child lock (K) is mounted, by means of the fixed element (1), on a side of the outer body (G) close to the door (D), preferably with the first wall (1c) of the first body (1a) facing (preferably, resting) said outer body (G). The first part of the second body (2a) included in the movable element (2) that can move within the movement space (1h) is, in turn, located to extend from the movement opening (1e) towards the door (D), in the case that no force is applied thereon. In this embodiment, the child lock (K) also preferably comprises at least a first centering element (2d) (preferably at least two) in the form of a slot for receiving the flexible element (3), which is provided in the second body (2a) in connection with the flexible element (3), preferably extends in the movement direction of the second body (2a), and is configured to center the flexible element (3). CLAIMS A child lock (K) configured to allow a door (D) of a household appliance to be opened with a plurality of hand movements, the household appliance having at least one outer body (G); at least one treatment compartment provided in the outer body (G); and at least one door (D) for controlling access into the treatment compartment, the child lock (K) characterized by comprising: at least one fixed element (1) configured to be mounted on the outer body (G) and comprising:• at least a first body (1a) in the form of a block with at least one movement space (1h) therein, and having on a first side thereof at least one movement opening (1e) for accessing said movement space (1 h), and• at least one channel (1d) which is provided in at least a first wall(lc) of the first body (1a) adjacent to the first side thereof, and extends between the first side of the first body (1a) and a second side opposite the first side thereof; and at least one movable element (2) attached to the fixed element (1) so that at least a part thereof remains within the movement space (1h), and comprising:• at least a second body (2a) having a block structure movable in the movement space (1h) between the first side and the second side of the first body (1a), wherein at least a first part of the second body (2a) extends from said movement opening (1e) out of the movement space (1h) when no force is applied thereon,• at least one tab (2c) in connection with the second body (2a) on at least a first area thereof, wherein at least a second area of the tab (2c) is located in the channel (1d) so as to extend from the channel(ld) out of the movement space (1 h), wherein when the entire first part of the second body (2a) extends out of the movement opening (1a), said second area of the tab (2c) contacts a side of the channel (1d) close to the movement opening (1e), thereby keeping at least a second part of the second body (2a) in connection with the first part in the movement space (1 h), and• at least one movement member (2b) in the form of a plate inclined from the first side of the first body (1a) to the second side thereof, and which is provided opposite to a part of the second body (2a) where the first part and the second part are connected. A child lock (K) according to claim 1 , characterized by comprising at least one flexible element (3) which is provided in the first body (1a) between the second side of the first body (1a) and the second body (2a) so as to be in connection with the second body (2a) on one side thereof, which applies a force on the second body (2a) towards the movement opening (1e) when no force is applied thereon, and which enables the first part of the second body (2a) to extend outwards from the movement opening (1e), wherein when the second body (2a) is moved into the movement space (1 h), an energy is accumulated on the flexible element (3), and when the applied force is terminated, the flexible element (3) moves the second body (2a) out of the movement space (1h) with the effect of the energy accumulated, so that the first part extends out of the movement opening (1e) again. A child lock (K) according to claim 2, characterized in that the flexible element (3) is a spring. A child lock (K) according to claim 2 or claim 3, characterized by comprising at least a first centering element (2d) which is provided in the second body (2a) so as to be in connection with the flexible element (3), and is configured to center the flexible element (3). A child lock (K) according to claim 4, characterized in that the first centering element (2d) is in the form of a slot for receiving the flexible element (3), which extends in the movement direction of the second body (2a). A child lock (K) according to claim 4 or claim 5, characterized by comprising at least a second centering element (1j) provided in the first body (1a) so as to be in connection with a side of the flexible element (3) opposite to the side that the first centering element (2d) is connected, wherein the second centering element (1j)centers the flexible element (3) on both opposite sides thereof, together with the first centering element (2d).

7. A child lock (K) according to claim 6, characterized in that the second centering element (1j) is provided as a shaft which is in connection with the second side of the first body (1a) and extends in the movement space (1h) from the second side towards the first side.

A child lock (K) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized by comprising at least one mounting piece (1b) in the form of a plate extending away from the first body (1a), which is connected to the first wall (1c) of the first body (1a), and is configured to be mounted on the outer body (G) of the household appliance.

A child lock (K) according to claim 8, characterized by comprising at least one mounting opening (1g) located in the mounting piece (1b) in the form of a groove extending from a side of the mounting piece (1b) opposite to the side in connection with the first body (1a), to a side thereof in connection with the first body (1a).

10. A child lock (K) according to claim 9, characterized in that the mounting opening (1g) has at least two sections of different widths.

A child lock (K) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized by comprising a first guiding element in the form of a recess or a protrusion, which is provided on an inner surface of a second wall (1f) facing the movement space (1 h), the second wall (1f) of the first body (1a) being adjacent to the first wall (1c) thereof; and at least a second guiding element (2e) in a form suitable for attachment to the first guiding element, and located in the second body (2a) so as to correspond to the first guiding element and to be connected thereto when the second body (2a) is attached to the first body (1a), wherein the second guiding element (2e) guides the movement of the second body (2a) in the first body (1a) together with the first guiding element.1612. A child lock (K) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized by comprising at least one mounting hole (2f) which is provided in the second body (2a) so as to be adjacent to the tab (2c), and allows the second area of the tab (2c) to flex to move into or out of the second body (2a).

13. A child lock (K) according to claim 8, characterized in that the mounting hole (2f) is located in the second body (2a) such that it extends along the second body (2a).

14. A child lock (K) according to claim 12 or claim 13, characterized in that a length of the tab (2c) is shorter than that of the mounting hole (2f).

15. A child lock (K) according to any of the claims 12 to 14, characterized by comprising at least one inclined part in the second part of the tab (2c), which contacts a side of the movement opening (1e) during the attachment of the second body (2a) to the first body (1a).

16. A child lock (K) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the movement opening (1e) has an inclined form corresponding to the movement member (2b).

17. A child lock (K) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that a width of the movement member (2b) is greater than a width of the movement opening (1e).

18. A household appliance comprising at least one outer body (G); at least one treatment compartment provided in the outer body (G) and having at least one access opening; and at least one door (D) which is configured to open or close the access opening, and has an open or closed position to control access into the treatment compartment, wherein the door (D) is in connection with the outer body (G) on a first side thereof so as to rotate around an axis passing therethrough and to be in an open or closed position; the household appliance characterized by comprising at least one said child lock (K) according to any of the preceding claims, which is mounted on the outer body (G), wherein when the door (D) is in the closed position, at least a part of the movable element (2) extends outward17such that at least a part of the door (D) is between the movable element (2) and the access opening, thereby preventing the door (D) from opening, and when the door (D) is desired to be opened, the movable element (2) is moved in the fixed element (1) away from the door (D).

19. A household appliance according to claim 18, characterized in that the child lock (K) is mounted on a part of the outer body (G) close to a second side of the door (D) opposite to the first side thereof.

20. A household appliance according to claim 18 or 19, characterized in that the child lock (K) is located such that the first wall (1c) faces an outer side of the outer body (G).18
