[0003] The present invention relates to a container suitable for use in an oven, in particular a steam- assisted oven.

[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE ART

[0005] In steam-assisted oven, the water is evaporated by increasing a cooking chamber temperature. A container or tank that can be filled with water is utilized in the cooking chamber for evaporation of water. Since the deployment of containers or tanks reduces the available cooking volume in the cooking chamber, water containers are disposed at the specific locations inside the oven. This ensures that sufficient amount of steam is provided to increase the cooking chamber temperature, while maintaining the available cooking volume in the oven.

[0008] The object of the invention is to ensure the equal distribution of hot air and steam inside the cooking chamber and prevent thermal expansions within the cavity.

[0009] In order to achieve the above objective, the invention relates to A steam-assisted oven comprising a cavity with a lower wall, an upper wall and a rear wall delimiting a cooking chamber; a fan providing air circulation and a heating element provided in the rear wall of the cavity. CLAIMS1- A steam-assisted oven comprising a cavity (10) with a lower wall (12), an upper wall (14) and a rear wall (16) delimiting a cooking chamber; a fan (20) providing air circulation and a heating element (40) provided in the rear wall (16) of the cavity (10) characterized in that a container (30) is provided adjacent to the rear wall (16) of the cavity (10) inside the cooking chamber, and supplies the stored water to the cooking chamber through an opening (32) facing the cooking chamber in the form of steam when the heating element (40) is activated in a cooking mode.2- A steam-assisted oven according to claim 1 , wherein the container (30) and the fan (20) are aligned in the middle of the rear wall (16).3- A steam-assisted oven according to any of the preceding claims, wherein a fan protection plate (50) provided on the rear wall (16) of the cavity (10) and surrounding the fan (20) and extending in the container (30) from a lower edge (52).4- A steam-assisted oven in accordance with Claim 3, wherein a folding extension (54) inclined such that directs the steam inside the container (30) from the lower edge (52) of the fan protection plate (50) to fed towards the cooking chamber.5- A steam-assisted oven according to claim 4, wherein the folding extension (54) extends into the container (30) in a way that narrows to the opening (32).6- A steam-assisted oven according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the container (30) is in a U-like shape.7- A steam-assisted oven according to claim 6, wherein the ratio of a container height (h) to the height of the rear wall (16) is set at a maximum height of 20%.8- A steam-assisted oven according to claims 6-7, wherein the ratio of a container width (w) to the width of the rear wall (16) is set at a maximum width of 20%.9- A steam-assisted oven according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein a connection element (60) that enables the container (30) to be mounted on the rear wall (16).10- A steam-assisted oven according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the container (30) is set at a distance from the lower wall (14).
