Abstract
Description
Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a load-bearing device for receiving a load on a profile, in particular on an upper chord of a support structure of a travel system. The invention further relates to an adapter element and a receiving element of such a load-bearing device, a support structure with such a load-bearing device, and a travel system with such a support structure. Background of the invention
[0002] It is known from the prior art to provide support structures for travel track devices, which form the outer support structure for components of the travel track device, such as guides with steps / pallets embedded therein, drives and electrical systems, as well as for attachment and cladding elements such as comb plates, screens and balustrades, and are usually formed from two opposing side wall units connected by crossbeams.
[0003] Balustrades are typically held by load-bearing devices located on the upper chord of the side wall unit(s) and serve as fall protection for passengers of the rideway and / or to delineate the rideway area laterally. Such balustrades and associated load-bearing devices are designed to support the weight of several passengers who press against or fall against the top of the balustrade. A disadvantage is that load-bearing devices designed to meet these requirements are often very large and heavy, occupying a relatively large portion of the limited space available on the supporting structure. Furthermore, load-bearing devices are often complex to install and / or require complex alignment of the balustrade panels to achieve a desired position. Description of the invention
[0004] Starting from this situation, it is an object of the present invention to propose a load-bearing device for a travel path device that is small, lightweight and, in particular, easy to assemble and align.
[0005] The object of the invention is achieved by the features of the independent main claims. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. Where technically feasible, the teachings of the dependent claims can be combined arbitrarily with the teachings of the main and dependent claims.
[0006] In particular, the problem is solved by a load-bearing device for receiving a load on a profile, especially on an upper chord of a supporting structure of a track system, the load-bearing device comprising an adapter element with a first leg assigned to a first side of the profile and a second leg assigned to a second side of the profile and a receiving element, wherein the adapter element has on the first leg a first projection for positioning the adapter element on a first recess of the profile and on the second leg a second projection for positioning the adapter element on a second recess of the profile, wherein the receiving element can be connected or is connected at a first connection point to the first leg of the adapter element and at a second connection point to the second leg of the adapter element, and wherein a load-bearing element is formed on the receiving element.
[0007] Advantageous aspects of the claimed invention are explained below, followed by a description of preferred modified embodiments of the invention. Explanations, particularly regarding advantages and definitions of features, are essentially descriptive and preferred examples, but not limiting ones. If an explanation is limiting, this will be expressly stated.
[0008] Where elements are designated by means of a numbering system, for example, "first element," "second element," and "third element," this numbering is solely for differentiation purposes and does not imply any dependency between the elements or a mandatory sequence. This means, in particular, that a device or method does not need to have a "first element" to have a "second element." The device or method can also have a "first element" and a "third element" without necessarily having a "second element." Multiple units of an element with a single numbering system are also possible, for example, multiple "first elements."
[0009] For the purposes of this disclosure, the general term "travel device" refers primarily to escalators and moving walkways (the latter especially in stepless configurations with at least an approximately level orientation or negligible gradient), as well as related passenger transport devices with an endlessly circulating transport mechanism. A travel device comprises, for example, steps or pallets forming the transport mechanism, which are connected to driven elements and guided in guides. The guides, the drive elements, and other components of the travel device are typically held within support structures extending essentially laterally in the longitudinal direction. These support structures usually consist of two opposing side wall units connected to each other by crossbeams and, optionally, a base unit. The term "track device" refers in particular to modular track devices that are modularly constructed from several longitudinal sections or longitudinal section modules, each with its own individually created support structure, and can be assembled / mounted module by module.
[0010] The supporting structure of the travel device or the respective module is preferably formed essentially by opposing side wall units and connecting crossbeams (also referred to as cross members), wherein each side wall unit is formed by at least one side wall and, in particular, by a top chord and / or a bottom chord. A supporting structure can also include a base unit; however, it has been shown that such a base unit does not necessarily have to fulfill a load-bearing function, but is, for example, designed to collect and, if necessary, drain oil from the drive, or is optimized with regard to covering and / or providing access from below to the supporting structure or the travel device. Therefore, the floor unit is to be understood as an optional building unit, which can also be functionally separate from the supporting structure, but which can optionally also assume an additional supporting load-bearing function if desired in individual cases.
[0011] The term "side wall" refers to a lateral structure of the load-bearing structure that, for example, extends at least partially across a single lateral plane and / or is reinforced at least partially by profiles, struts, or beams extending beyond the lateral plane. Generally, the side wall is formed from structural elements or sections that, as planar sections, absorb forces in multiple directions and / or, as rod-shaped or strut-like structural elements / sections, absorb the respective forces only along the longitudinal extent determined by the orientation. The side wall can therefore be designed, for example, as a closed surface, as a pure truss, or as a structure with components of closed surfaces and truss structures.
[0012] According to the understanding of this disclosure, a side wall unit comprises the aforementioned side wall as well as, as further structural elements / sections, chords associated with this side wall, in particular an upper chord and a lower chord, wherein the chords may be integral with the side wall, integrated, or formed separately from one another. The terms upper chord and lower chord, which together are also referred to as chords, here denote structural elements or structural sections extending longitudinally in the region of an upper edge or a lower edge of the side wall for absorbing loads in the longitudinal direction of the track system, in particular bending loads, which primarily lead to tensile stresses in the lower chord and compressive stresses in the upper chord. The chords are preferably designed as profiles or profile sections, in particular as L-profiles, U-profiles, or hollow profiles, and thus exhibit a favorable area moment of inertia for absorbing bending loads. The chords stiffen the supporting structure and form outer corner points, with the chords and / or the side walls optionally serving to attach further components of the track system. The chords can also be designed as components separate from the side wall; however, preferably at least a portion of the chords is formed integrally with the side wall, for example, by bending the side wall. Particularly preferably, the top chord is designed as a hollow profile with four walls, wherein, for example, two walls are formed by the L-shaped bent side wall, which in this area is made of flat material, and two further walls are formed by a flat material component, also L-shaped and separate from the side wall.Preferably, the bottom chord is also designed as a hollow profile with four walls. The components forming the walls are preferably welded together.
[0013] A load-bearing device, as defined in this disclosure, comprises means for transferring a force or moment from the load to a profile, in particular a profile of the supporting structure, which absorbs the force or moment in a load-resistant manner. Specifically, the load is a force or corresponding moment acting on an attachment such as a balustrade, which is transferred to the profile via the load-bearing device. The load-bearing device is designed to be securely attached to the element of the supporting structure (in particular the top chord) and to have a load-bearing area in which the load can be held securely. "Load-resistant" in this context means that forces and moments can be safely transferred via the connection(s) at least in the directions relevant for a typical load case, in particular without material damage or failure.
[0014] Insofar as the first and second projections are designed to position the adapter element in a first / second recess of the profile, the respective projection and recess form a positive fit with each other, which determines the positioning of the adapter element on the profile. In particular, the adapter element or the projection and / or the profile or recess are manufactured using a high-precision manufacturing process, such as laser cutting or waterjet cutting, so that the load-bearing device is already aligned by the positioning. Preferably, the first and second projections are each designed to engage in a slot-shaped recess.
[0015] The solution to the problem with the aforementioned load-bearing device now comprises the teaching that the connection to the profile is formed by the adapter element, whereby the adapter element is positioned on two sides of the profile and can then be connected to the profile on both sides, for example by welding. In this way, highly precise positioning and, in the case of connections on both sides or both legs, a particularly load-resistant connection of the load-bearing device to the profile can be achieved. The connection between the adapter element and the profile can also be made particularly conveniently before the receiving element is connected to the adapter element, so that, for example, welding points are particularly easy to access.Furthermore, the solution to the problem using the load-bearing device incorporates the principle that the receiving element is connected to the adapter element on both legs and, in turn, forms the load-bearing component. Consequently, the load transfer between the load-bearing component and the profile is realized across both sides, i.e., both legs, and the load-bearing device is thus mechanically particularly advantageous for absorbing moments. Specifically, the attachment points of the adapter element's legs on the respective sides of the profile can be relatively far apart to absorb high moments. This advantageous design allows the adapter element and the receiving element to be made particularly small and lightweight.
[0016] Furthermore, the adapter element can itself be designed to be particularly rigid in a plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the profile (around which a moment load mainly occurs) in order to transmit forces and / or moments in this plane, while only the receiving element has a greater extension in the axial direction to accommodate a load extending in the axial direction, such as a balustrade of a roadway system. The adapter element can then be designed to be particularly compact and lightweight.
[0017] In one embodiment, the adapter element is L-shaped and made of a flat material, extending in a plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the profile. In particular, the adapter element is made of a metal sheet. This makes the adapter element especially lightweight and, at the same time, particularly load-bearing in the plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the profile, where, for example, the greatest forces / moments are expected when used as a load on a balustrade of a roadway system. The L-shaped design, in which the first and second legs are materially connected, further increases the adapter element's ability to transmit forces and moments.
[0018] In a further preferred embodiment, the first connection point and / or the second connection point is each formed by a first through-opening in the adapter element, a second through-opening in the receiving element, and a fastening element extending through the first and second through-openings. The fastening element is, in particular, a screw interacting with a nut. A force-fit connection is then created between the receiving element and the adapter element, which is especially load-resistant for transmitting forces and moments in the plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the profile.Furthermore, the alignment of the through-openings to each other, ensured by the fastening means, allows for highly precise positioning of the receiving element to the adapter element, so that the load bearing is particularly precisely aligned with the profile through the aligned through-openings and the aforementioned highly precise positioning of the adapter element on the profile by means of the recesses and projections.
[0019] The receiving element can be advantageously attached to the adapter element from either a first or a second side, so that identical parts can be used for the mirror-image arrangement of load-bearing devices on two opposing top chords. Alternatively, the receiving element can encompass the adapter element, wherein the receiving element is mirror-symmetrical with respect to the plane formed by the adapter element, so that identical parts can be used for the mirror-image arrangement of load-bearing devices on two opposing top chords.
[0020] In the aforementioned embodiment, a first through-hole is preferably designed as an arc-shaped elongated hole, wherein the elongated hole extends along a radius around an axis of rotation of a second first through-hole. For an arc-shaped elongated hole, "extension along the radius" means that the radius lies on a central axis of the elongated hole. For an oval elongated hole, "extension along the radius" means, for example, that the central axis of the elongated hole lies tangentially to the radius.Advantageously, in both cases, the receiving element can be rotated around the axis of rotation of the second first through-hole within an angular range determined by the elongated hole before the fasteners are tightened or otherwise closed in order to precisely align the load-bearing element, for example relative to other load-bearing elements of other load-bearing devices provided on the same profile.
[0021] In a preferred embodiment of the load-bearing device, the load-bearing element is designed as a U-shaped clamping device, particularly for receiving a balustrade panel of a walkway system. The clamping device is open at the top and supports a balustrade panel, such as a glass panel, downwards against gravity and inwards and outwards when subjected to a moment load on the balustrade, for example, from a person leaning against or falling against it. The balustrade is thus securely held in all relevant directions and can also be easily mounted in the load-bearing element from above. A sealing element and / or a form-compensating element, such as a rubber profile or a paper gasket, can also be inserted into the U-shaped clamping device.
[0022] In the embodiment described above, the clamping device preferably has a movable clamping element, wherein a load received in the load-bearing device can be clamped by moving the clamping element. The load, in particular a balustrade panel, can then be inserted into the clamping device from the open side, especially from above, without significant resistance and subsequently secured by the clamping element, particularly after the receiving element has been aligned relative to receiving elements of further load-bearing devices in which the balustrade panel or further balustrade panels of the same balustrade are located.
[0023] Preferably, the clamping element is designed to be movable against the receiving element by means of a screw. The clamping device can then be closed particularly easily by tightening the screw, and the assembly of the load-bearing device is consequently very simple.
[0024] Furthermore, the screw is preferably designed as a hammerhead screw, whereby the screw passes through the receiving element so that a hammerhead of the screw is held against the side of the receiving element facing the adapter element. Thus, even when the clamping device is open, i.e., without the clamping element pressing on a load and therefore without causing the screw to self-lock, the screw is held against the adapter element and can consequently be pre-assembled before the load-bearing device is mounted. When attaching the balustrade to the load-bearing device, the screw then does not need to be positioned on the load-bearing device first, but only tightened. The mounting of the load is thus further simplified.
[0025] The screw is particularly advantageously used on a pivoting element, whereby the pivoting element can be pivoted about a contact point on the receiving element by means of the screw in order to move the clamping element. The pivoting element is thus supported on one side by the contact point on the receiving element and on the other side by a contact point on the clamping element, so that when the screw is tightened, it pivots about the contact point on the receiving element and acts on the clamping element. The screw can then be secured with a lock nut away from the load-bearing area on the receiving element, thus preventing any mechanical weakening of the receiving element by means of a bore in the load-bearing area. Furthermore, a lever arm between the contact point on the receiving element and the contact point on the clamping element allows a particularly high and precisely controllable clamping force to be generated by the clamping element.
[0026] The problem is further solved by an adapter element for a previously described load-bearing device. The advantages described above with regard to the load-bearing device can be achieved accordingly with the adapter element.
[0027] The problem is further solved by a receiving element for a previously described load-bearing device. The advantages previously described with regard to the load-bearing device can be achieved accordingly with the receiving element.
[0028] The problem is further solved by a support structure for a track device, comprising at least one side wall unit with at least one top chord and a side wall, wherein a load-bearing device as described above is arranged on the top chord, in particular welded to it, and wherein the top chord receives the first projection of the adapter element at a first recess on a first side and receives the second projection of the adapter element at a second recess on a second side. In particular, the adapter element is welded to the top chord along the recesses or projections. Furthermore, in particular, the first recess and the second recess are slot-shaped, for example by means of laser cutting or waterjet cutting, to enable precise and spatially defined positioning of the projections. The advantages described above with regard to the load-bearing device can be achieved in a corresponding manner with the supporting structure.
[0029] In a preferred embodiment of the supporting structure, the top chord is designed as a rectangular hollow profile, with the first side being the top surface of the top chord and the second side facing an inner surface of the supporting structure. A hollow profile is defined as a profile that, in cross-section, has at least one region substantially enclosed by walls. Accordingly, at least two walls face each other in this region of the cross-section, such that access to each wall from the side facing the other wall is restricted.
[0030] Ultimately, the problem is also solved by a travel path device, in particular an escalator device, comprising a previously described support structure. The advantages described above with regard to the support structure and those described above with regard to the load-bearing device can be achieved accordingly with the travel path device. Brief description of the drawings
[0031] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments. The term "figure" is abbreviated as "Fig." in the drawings.
[0032] The drawings show Fig. 1 a schematic side view of a load-bearing device arranged on a profile according to a preferred embodiment of the invention; Fig. 2 a perspective view of a receiving element of the load-bearing device according to Figure 1 ; Fig. 3 a sectional view of the receiving element according to Figure 2 ; and Fig. 4 a sectional view of an adapter element of the load-bearing device according to Figure 1 . Detailed description of the drawings
[0033] The described embodiments are merely examples that can be modified and / or supplemented in various ways within the scope of protection defined by the claims. Each feature described for a specific embodiment can be used independently or in combination with other features in any other embodiment. Each feature described for an embodiment of a particular claim category can also be used analogously in an embodiment of a different claim category.
[0034] Figure 1Figure 1 shows a side view of a load-bearing device 1, which is arranged on an upper chord 2 of a supporting structure (not shown) of a transport system (also not shown). The load-bearing device 1 is formed by an adapter element 3 and a receiving element 4 with a load-bearing capacity 5 attached thereto. The upper chord 2 is formed by a first side 2.1 (upper wall), a second side 2.2 (inner wall), a third side 2.3 (outer wall), and a fourth side 2.4 (lower wall). The second side 2.2 thus faces the steps or pallets of the transport system (not shown).
[0035] The adapter element 3 is formed from an L-shaped metal sheet with a first leg 3.1 and a second leg 3.2, wherein the adapter element 3 extends in a plane spanned by a transverse direction Q and a vertical direction H, which is perpendicular to an axial direction A of the upper chord 2. The axial direction A is, for example, in Figure 2The first leg 3.1 is associated with the first side 2.1 of the upper chord 2, i.e., it rests against it, and the second leg 3.2 is associated with the second side 2.2 of the upper chord 2, i.e., it rests against it. A first projection 6.1 is formed on the first leg 3.1, which engages in a slot-shaped recess on the first side 2.1 of the upper chord 2 for positioning the load-bearing device 1 on the upper chord 2. A second projection 6.2 is formed on the second leg 3.2, which engages in a further slot-shaped recess on the second side 2.2 of the upper chord 2 for positioning the load-bearing device 1 on the upper chord 2. The adapter element 3 is welded to the upper chord 2 in the area of the first projection 6.1 and the second projection 6.2 via welds 7.1, 7.2.
[0036] Figure 4 The adapter element 3 is shown isolated, with the position of the first projection 6.1 differing slightly from the illustration in Figure 1 differs. As in Figure 4 As can be seen, the adapter element 3 also has a first through-opening 8.1 and a second through-opening 8.2. The first through-opening 8.1 is designed as an arc-shaped elongated hole, and a central axis M of the first through-opening 8.1 thus runs along a radius R around an axis of rotation AX (in Figure 2 (shown) the second first through-opening 8.2.
[0037] The receiving element 4 is attached to the adapter element 3 via a first connection point 9.1 and a second connection point 9.2. The first connection point 9.1 is through the first through-opening 8.1 of the adapter element 3, and a second through-opening 10.1 of the receiving element 4 is through the receiving element 4. Figure 3The receiving element 4, shown in section, and a first fastening element 11.1, designed as a screw and extending through the first through-opening 8.1 and the first second through-opening 10.1, are formed by the first fastening element 11.1, which is designed as a screw. The second connection point 9.2 is formed by the second through-opening 8.2 of the adapter element 3, a second through-opening 10.2 of the Figure 3 The receiving element 4, shown in section, and a second fastening element 11.2, designed as a screw and extending through the second first through-opening 8.2 and the second second through-opening 10.2, are formed. If the fastening elements 11.1, 11.2 are not yet fully tightened, the receiving element 4 can be tilted relative to the adapter element 3 about the axis of rotation AX of the first connection point 9.2, insofar as the first first through-opening 8.1 allows this, in order to adjust the load-bearing capacity 5.
[0038] The receiving element 4, which is otherwise designed as a cast part, further forms the load-bearing structure 5, wherein the load-bearing structure 5 is U-shaped and open at one upper side to accommodate, for example, a balustrade panel (not shown in detail). An inner flank 5.1 and a lower flank 5.2, which bears the weight of the load, are formed by the receiving element 4 itself. An outer flank 5.3 is formed by a clamping element 12, which is movably arranged on the receiving element 4. Sealing elements / compensating elements are also provided on the inside of the flanks 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 to securely accommodate, for example, a balustrade panel made of glass in the load-bearing structure 5.
[0039] A pivoting element 13 acts on the clamping element 12. The pivoting element 13 rests against a fixed part of the receiving element 4 at a first contact point 14.1 and against the clamping element 12 at a second contact point 14.2, thereby displacing the clamping element 12. The pivoting element 13 is movable relative to the receiving element 4 by means of a screw 15 designed as a hammerhead screw, allowing it to pivot about the first contact point 14.1 and thereby act on the clamping element 12 at the second contact point 14.2. The screw 15 passes through a Figure 3 The through-opening 16, shown in more detail, contains a pocket 16.1. A thread (not shown in detail) is provided in the pocket 16.1, against which the screw 15 is held. Additionally, a hammerhead 15.1 of the screw 15 is held on the back of the pocket 16.1, so that the screw 15 is held securely and thus pre-assembled on the receiving element 4. Reference symbol list
